Giving this place a B rating. That's pretty good for Avalon considering the dining options on the island stink. We went there on NYE and it wasn't crowded at all and there was no pre-fixed menu (yay!) We ordered the duck nachos and cheesesteak dumplings. Nachos were good but it was basically 80% chips. Don't bother with the dumplings. I got the chef's special burger with avocado on a brioche bun. It was really good but the bun left something to be desired. Husband got a turkey wrap that he said was pretty good. He said their IPA was a thumbs up. Will definitely check it out this summer because I want to try their beers for myself.

Solid spot. Stopped by for sausage, egg and cheeses on Jalapeño cheddar bagels. THEY WERE DELICIOUS. Really friendly staff. Would definitely come back whenever I'm in the area.

I live in Philadelphia and drive to have my hair cut and colored by Stefanie. If that doesn't clue you in to the quality of her work, then I don't know what will! She is so incredibly talented that she has seen my through long, dark locks to platinum lobs. Her new salon is very clean and only uses top quality products. I highly encourage you to give her a shot-you won't be disappointed (none of my friends ever are )

I took a wonderful 9AM class here on a Friday. Plenty of parking in the lot which I appreciated. The class ended up being rather full with three rows of yogis. The music was very soft but you were still able to hear it. I do wish the instructor had spoken up. She seemed to be naturally soft spoken but in a room that large with the music playing, I had trouble hearing her in the front row. The class was challenging but offered modifications for everyone. Loved that we had an hour and fifteen minutes so you could really cool down at the end. Would definitely go back again!
