Lovely steak frites place that also serves delicious desserts (love loved the St. honore cake). Recommend just for the novelty of endless fries which can be fun if you order some wine to go with your meal. Very enjoyable for the price point.

Amazing experience! 10 courses of veggie-forward dishes that are not only delicious but showcase the versatility of different seasonal vegetables that might usually get over looked as side dishes/apps instead of a main.

Great experience, must try in the city for eaters craving something new and original.

I tried Basil Box last weekend for the first time really wanting to like the place (really).
But maybe it was the fact I am eating cold noodles in the winter or that both my boyfriend and I's basil box was barely edible due to the fact that too much sriracha sauce was poured onto my box after my boyfriend said to stop. But I could not finish my basil box (it took me 5 different tries) since the spice just overpowered everything, and I mean everything. The noodles were ok but the five spice steak was pretty good.

I don't really have much to say other than being disappointed with this experience. Seems like most other people have fared better, maybe I will try it again in the future. For a place that is so highly rated on Yelp I feel like I am missing out on something?

Lines too long at Pai? Settle for Thai on Yonge!

No but seriously though this little gem above Yonge has become my go-to "want good Thai food but can't get into pai or it's like 10:45 pm right now" restaurant to order take out!
Can't say much about the sit in service but if anyone lives around the area and wants Thai food that isn't salad king I would give them a try! Food is pretty good and their menu is extensive as well! The owners are really nice and it's really a chill family-run place.

Been eating out here since they opened and I really don't have a single compliant.

This is a quaint, hole-in-the-wall, mom and pops type of place. It's usually not very busy, which baffles me cause they make the best damn baos & dumplings in the city. The owners are very personable and friendly, although there are a few communication problems if you don't speak mandarin.

As someone who has had fresh off the steamer bao from vendors in China, I can vouch that this is probably going to be as good as it gets for authentic food in Toronto. I am pretty sure their the flour is home made, and bonus points for their Green Onion Pancakes that doesn't taste like someone dropped the salt while making it.

      Edit:
Pro-tip : be patient or speak mandarin since there might be a language barrier when ordering online!
