Came here with kids based on yelp reviews. Apparently we had to make reservations, yet were seated and all worked perfectly. Place gets busy, but things flow quickly as food does not take long to get on your table. We had margarita pizza and pasta carbonara. Flavors were rich and of decent portion, service was stellar. Def worth a try if you are around.

Cream brûlée was right on point. Perfect flavor, crunch, and just delicious.

I wanted to try this italian restaurant cause last time i just had a coffee and dessert.

I was pleasently surprised, the pizza is more than excellent, it's one of the best in Montreal.

We were 4 and we share one slice of each pizza, so we were able to taste every kind of pizza. i had the Bella italiana pizza and it was a delight, the quattro stagioni is also a good one.

So if you pass near la petite Italie stopped at La bella Italiana !

We saw that this place had great reviews and a great menu.
We weren't disappointed. You could tell that the food was made fresh and the chefs know what they're doing.

Everything we ordered was great! When I come back, I will be coming back to this place for sure.

This place is always super reliable in terms of flavours and quality. The calamari are always fresh with a delicious spicy sauce to accompany it. I often get the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola -- i never thought i could like any form of gorgonzola but this dish is a knockout. Also, can't resist the cannoli, they really don't skimp on the filling it's beautiful.

When we want to eat pizza, this is the place we go to. Wood oven pizza is the best. The choices for pizza are very varied so there is always one that will please you. The pizza crust is light and the toppings are just the right amount. This permits the pizza to cook well.
The service is always friendly and efficient. The staff is always willing to accommodate any requests.
The ambiance is casual. But the noise level is very high. This restaurant seems to attract lots of groups and parties so these guests get quite rowdy contributing to the high noise level. This is not a place for a quiet or romantic supper.
We were again very disappointed by the shabby decor. The tables and chairs have gotten very old and worn. They need to be replaced ASAP. The washrooms also need renovation.
I would not invite friends to this restaurant because of the shabbiness. It's too bad because it's a good pizzeria.

First time here. Parking around here is a challenge. Lunchtime seemed busy which bode well. The lunch menu varied from penne Romanov 18, risotto asparagus 19, lemon fish 22. Pasta for me!!! Choice of soup or salad. The salad was fresh and well prepared. Make it tasty and crunchy and I'm happy. Good sized pasta plate with a savoury sauce. The french baguette was steaming hot. So I filled up on carbs and I'm smiling. Time for a nap

Kind of upscale, kind of casual. Came later before closing but the staff was accommodating and seated us quickly. We ordered a pizza to share which was out in 15 mins tops. Waiters spoke english and french which helped (we're dumb Americans). It seems that this place is known more so for its gelato which we didn't get to try unfortunately due to the time. The pizza was very good, crust cooked well though it could've been cooked through a little more. Toppings were fresh and had great flavor from the sauce. It was served with this interesting pickled peppers blend which once topped on a slice gave it a rich peppery flavor.
Sangria was good, made only a few fruit on top and in a decent size for the price.
Overall would return and recommend this place. Try the gelato though because I couldn't :/

Pizza Capriciossa with spinach added. Made the crust a little "watery" but added great flavor

I can't believe that I have been to the Bella Italiana numerous times and never reviewed it. La Bella Italiana originally started as an ice cream place but evolved over the years into a full blown restaurant. If you're in St-Leonard and in search of some classic Italian comfort food then come here. They do the basics like pasta and pizza and always have a few daily specials. It is a pretty casual place and can get busy easily so you might want to consider a reservation if you're coming on a Friday or Saturday night.

When it comes to the antipasti it is the standards that you would expect from any Italian restaurant. While I usually start with a basic salad sometimes I'll mix it up and try something else. I really like the meatballs here. They are tasty and juicy and will remind you of the kind your nonna used to make.

I typically go for the pizza here because while the pasta is pretty decent I find the pizza is what they are best at. They use a wood-burning oven so the crust gets crispy and has a smoky flavour to it. My go to is the pizza with mushrooms and I always enjoy it.

Since they have been in the ice cream business for so long you can expect a sizeable gelato selection when dessert roles around. The gelato is okay but certainly not the best I have experienced in Montreal. I can't comment on the other desserts since I haven't tried them.

The service is generally speedy and the prices are reasonable for the area. If you are in St-Leonard and in search of some good Italian food then this is your place. I always enjoy myself when I come here for supper.

Mom and I were hangry in the East End after an infuriatingly useless mission to the FedEx depot (rage.) I passed her the Yelp map and let the lady choose and we ended up here, at this delicious and cute oasis of yumminess.

Being who we are and the stage of hungry we were at, we changed seats about 17 times and ordered weird things in a weird order, and the young tall Italian men who worked here remained relaxed and kind and brought us delicious things.

We sat in the AC and watched the badass pizza chef slinging pies in the wood oven. We each ate an entire pizza and they were so good, especially with the spicy oil. Nice light crispy chewy crust, beautiful mushrooms on mine, generally very very good.

I wanted to eat all the gelato here but settled for a perfect affocato instead and it was dreamy.

We loved the relaxed Italian trattoria vibe here, this is a true local find and I'm so glad we found it when we did!

Solid option in the area that is open late and family friendly. Now in the heart of Saint Leo the italian needs to be good and the gelato has to great. We came with our new born, friendly, fast and reasonably priced. For sure we will come back if we are in the area. Enjoy!
