A good food delivery service in Vancouver! They've a variety of meal plans available to suit your needs. And their customer service is very responsive when making changes on the website. The website experience is sub-par and can definitely be improved significantly.

The delivery is on the time, and they text me when I'm not able to receive the calls.

Wow, as an immigrant I thought dealing with the IRCC is difficult. Yogi's just turns out to be much tougher!
Rude customer representatives and delivery boys. Whilst the food is of average quality, it is their customer service which is extremely frustrating.

They were supposed to give me a refund within 20 days and it has been nearly two and a half months now and they have not!

Upon calling, they tell me they will need even more time. Consequently, I asked for a simple email confirmation to ensure I have proof of their word. They behave like sending across an email requires government authorized approval and straight out reject my request.
I have no guarantee that I will get my money back and whenever I explain my problem, I am met with representatives who behave like they are doing me a favor by processing my request.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

BEWARE OF THESE FRAUDSTERS !! I paid $600, 3 months advance to serve meals to my Nephew who is a student. They stopped sending food and turns out have shut down. Refusing to refund !

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

In their own words, Yogi's Kitchen is "a modern, customer-oriented, and technology-based platform committed to making life easier and convenient for those struggling for their lunch and dinner meals with delivery". I agree with their self-assessment because for the past few months that I've being their customer, we've not had to worry about where the next meal is coming from - be it rain or shine (or even snow!), the neatly and sustainably packed and labeled food packages are delivered to our home punctually on the days of our choice!

Based on my experience with Yogi's, they offer a consistently good meal service, tasty food, and punctual delivery of meals to one's doorsteps. They have a very neat and professional website and app where you can view/select/ compare meal plans, choose from/update weekly menus, pause/resume service, chat with customer service, etc. Their customer service is good with prompt and efficient folks at the customers' beck and call.


MEAL PLANS

Yogi's offers three meal plans - Basic, Standard and Exclusive, and they have a nice tabular comparison of these options on their website and app. They have regular sales and discounts for their subscription plans for a month or more, so definitely good value for money. Once you sign up for a plan, the meal credits are reflected in your account, which allows you to view and select from the daily menus for the ongoing week.

After lots of assessment initially, we had selected the Standard Plan, the highlights of which are as follows:

- From Monday to Saturday (Select Upto 6 Days)
- 2 Indian Dishes of your own choice (choose from 5 different options everyday)
- Up to 8 Tawa Rotis (100% Whole Wheat Indian Bread) or Roti and Rice combo
- Indian Non-Veg option 4 days a week
- Veg/Non-veg Continental Option every Wednesday
- Yogi's Special Biryani option (Veg/Non-veg) every Saturday
- Complimentary Dessert Every Tuesday and Friday
- Salad
- Pickle


MEAL PACKAGES

Yogi's Kitchen offers multiple meal packages, and the larger package sizes are accompanied by discounts.

- Single Package (Meal for single person)
- Couple Package (Meal for 2 people)
- Triple Package (Meal for 3 people)
- Family Package (Meal for 4 people)

We opted for the single package which is good enough for two meals of a person with a healthy appetite!


FOOD

The food quality is pretty good with most items being tasty plus giving the feeling of their being made homemade. The food quantity is quite a lot, plus they don't repeat any dish in a week. Still the downside is that, as with any other type of food, continuously consuming their meals across weeks becomes repetitive and monotonous. So, it's important to space out the packages using their meal pause option! Also, their special meals are not the best (Biryani is too greasy) and Continental options are okayish.


DELIVERY

Though they have a meal pickup option, Yogi's delivery service is their USP and steals the limelight. Their delivery coverage is extensive and they cover most of Metro Vancouver, though certain areas are not in their scope. For example : their website and app state that they cover North Vancouver, but they don't deliver to Grousewoods where we were earlier living. We discovered this much to our chagrin after signing up for a meal plan back in August of 2021, and after they confirmed that we are good, only to find that they had canceled our plan on the day we were eagerly looking forward to receiving our first meal!

We decided to give them a second chance when we moved, and thankfully never encountered any issues when we shifted to New West and then to Burnaby. Their live order tracking feature is neat, and their delivery folks such as Navjot and Lakshay are fantastic for the consistently good delivery service they provide!


CSR

Yogi's Kitchen guarantees a 100% REFUND if you are not satisfied with their service, and promise to issue a refund for the unused portion of the service.

Their portal states that they're committed to contributing to the society, and they promise to feed the dispossessed people in Canada. How neat is that!


PRO TIPS

Yogi's offers TRIAL PLANS for one day and one week on their Standard and Exclusive Plans. Checking out the weekly trial plan upfront gave us a good idea of what we were signing up for. So, please make sure to use this option before subscribing for a longer duration meal plan.

They do have a REFERRAL scheme that benefits the referrer and the referred person. So, please do DM me if you plan on checking them out, and I'll be happy to send you an invite :)

The food is horrible, cold and always late. I issued a refund in October and still haven't gotten it. It's a scam

This is a FRAUD company. BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO THEM. I signed up for a week and the order was supposed to start on Dec 27. I did not get my order so I made inquiries. I found out that the business was closed until new year but their website does not say that. The website said that the order will start the next day. I emailed and spoke with a representative to cancel my order. I was told that it was cancelled. I received an order on Jan 2. I called back and they tried to pay games that "management was not available to make a decision". When I pressed them, they said that they will cancel the order and refund my money. I did not get any more orders and almost a month later still waiting for refund. I have a dispute with my credit card company. The food I did receive one day was sh*t.

I am rating one star cause I cant rate a zero. ITS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. They don't deliver the food and scam you. They take your money and dont deliver. This has been happening since 2 days. They just keep telling you that the food is coming and when you try the customer service , they dont even pick up. They are so so so rude and stingy. As a college student I dont have the money to waste on uber eats or something. They make life so hard cause even while texting you they dont do anything. And half the times when you are midway through explaining your issue , they dont even bother responding back. THE WORST TIFFIN SERVICE . PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY CAUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMING YOU.

I will rate at absolutely 0/5, wastage of your time and money and not good quality food.
Worst Customer Service experience.
It took them almost 2 months to process the refund to unsubscribe the tiffin service. (Proofs available) also, it will include more than 5 (more than 15mins each) calls to the customer service to beg your money back. Not good at all.

Poor customer service. They ended up cancelling the order without notification and also delivery beyond the 3 hours delivery window.
