Service is always good. Ive eaten here many, many times and the food is always above average no matter what you get.

Id probably stick to waiter recommendations for specials and fan favorites. Ive heard the Sunday brunch is great.

This place is fine. My family comes here because there's a large room we can rent out for when we all come into town. I'm vegan and from seattle, my brother-in-law is vegetarian, and this place can accommodate dietary restrictions (sort of).

There's basically one vegan options -- hummus and bread (it's actually very good), Greek salad without cheese, and then they make me some pasta with red sauce and veggies (not on the menu).

My cousin is gluten free and they got her some meat and veggies.

The vegetarian can eat risotto off the menu, but when I asked about the cauliflower steak I was told there was chicken stock in the sauce (?!?), might want to double check on that bc it seems like it's vegetarian based on the menu description.

My cousin's steak once came out way too undercooked and she sent it back. I don't think anyone's been really blown away from the food, and I personally think it's probably a little overpriced for what you get.

To his credit, Brandon, the guy who serves us in the separate room every time, is incredibly patient and helpful and answers all our questions and deals with us when we move tables and are just generally chaotic.

I think there's two side rooms you can reserve, and one time when we were there the one next door had very loud music and cheering -- we discovered it was a 21st birthday with a belly dancer, so I guess there's that.

I've been wanting to visit Yaya's because of the warm buttercake and I finally got the opportunity to visit.
The ambience of this restaurant is really nice, they have a couple of rooms for private parties. It was very busy. I believe I also saw the igloos outside.
Anyway, service was really good. Good was bought out in a reasonable time.
I ordered the calamari and found the flavor to be good but the meat too chewy.
My friend ordered the beef carpaccio and she said it was really good. I had the penne carbonara with chicken and it was okay. I added salt and that helped lift the flavor.

But the winner was the warm butter cake! Omgoodness it was everything I hoped it would be. From the first til the last bite! This alone is worth the visit and I will most certainly be going back.

One of our favorite places to eat! Our server Riley was wonderful and attentive, and the food came quickly. It was quiet even though there were a good amount of people around us. We got the calamari and penne carbonara which is always fabulous! The calamari is always seasoned well and the baba ganoush is the reason why we keep coming back. Would highly recommend for date night!

While this was a fun place the food was meh. I thought the portions sizes decreased from my last visit. Salmon was overcooked and dry. Lasagna was plain and simple without much tastiness. Shrimp and pasta could use some seasonings. Atmosphere here is nice. Wine selection was very good too and cocktails great too. I'd give this another try by also asking for more than the standard preparation.

New meetup group of ten. No disabled automatic door, but host grabbed the doors for me. He directed me to rear private room with long table, nicely set.

FUEL chicken piadini. Pretty good & unique. Topped flatbread with dipping hummus.
ATMOSPHERE high end chain restaurant. Very clean.
SERVICE Sammie did good work. Brought another glass as a drink refill promptly.

And at the end, all is good. I'd recommend for groups, family, & tourists.

Woot woot! It's that time of year again in the Kansas City area: It's KC Restaurant Week! Hip hip hooray!

Today's lunch did not disappoint. It was $15, (plus tax and tip) though their online menu via the KCWR app said $20-nice $5 "savings" off the bat!

Our waiter, Court, was attentive, friendly and helpful. He explained what the dishes were and got back to me on the mix of 'shrooms.

Started with their usual appetizer of baba ganoush and veggies--carrots and cucumbers, as opposed to the non gluten-free bread. Have to say, didn't miss the bread really. For some reason this baba ganoush seemed less smoky than in past visits, but it was fine.

Then on to the starter: I enjoyed a lovely Greek salad sans dressing, though it was on the side, I didn't really need it. Be warned, though, those red onion slices are POTENT! Smelled them immediately upon having the salad placed on the table. Mind you, there were only three thin ones!!

I was a bit surprised that the kitchen was pushing out their courses so quickly, but I can appreciate too, they'd rather not fall behind. Maybe five more minute's wait would have been better between the salad and entrée, but it's not a complaint.

I had the mushroom ravioli. A melange of wild mushrooms in an luscious creamy garlic sauce! Yes, please! As an aside, I was thinking the ravioli was stuffed with the mushrooms--nope, they were mixed in with the sauce. Fine with me, as it was delicious!!

And finally, the dessert! Three words: Brown. Butter. Cake. **Positively sinful! ** Small portion, but big in flavor, it was delectable. It was served warm, so the wee vanilla ice cream atop it melted but not quickly. The fresh whipped cream was a great contrast to the sweet cake, and the berries were tasty, my friend had one berry that was mushy, but otherwise no complaints there. It would have been nice if they offered a gluten-free option for my friend & others who are gluten-free; had we asked maybe a suggestion would have been given.

By the way, my friend ordered the Campo Lindo Farms Chicken--served with an au jus and butter sauce on top, and crispy potatoes; I tried a small portion and not only was the chicken cooked well, it was tender and juicy and well seasoned--enjoyed it so much I ordered a lunch portion to go.

All in all, this most definitely was a successful experience for the first weekend to #KCRW KC Restaurant Week.

      Bravo! !

The atmosphere was very family friendly. You can eat inside or out on the deck but wait till the sun goes down in the summer. The service was excellent and my dinning experience was great. I had the Chicken Carbonara with a Caesar salad. The dressing on the salad was a little lackluster for me but it was okay. The entree for me (Chicken Carbonara) was a hit. Love the stegarita margarita as well. Would definitely return to try something new.

Chicken Carbonara- chicken, pasta, peas, bacon, cream sauce with egg on top.

Wanted to try a new place for dinner. Service was a little slow. Hard to enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant when the waiter across the way was cussing along with another dinner patron. Crab cakes were really delicious when you paired everything on the plate together. The scallop and shrimp cargot were ok. The cheese had harden up so it was hard to scoop the cheese with the bread so ended up picking out bits and pieces. My duck was ok, the cherry sauce made the seared skin soggy along with the rice. My husband had the lasagna, it was ok. Overall, it was an ok experience, the food looked great just didn't live to its expectation. Maybe we caught them on an off night.
