Don't let the strip mall fool you--this place is legit!! I had the lasagna and the noodles were perfect and not soggy. The breadstick was so good with great flavor and nice crust. I tried the Arancini--just wow! The risotto was delicious and fried perfectly with a side of marinara. You absolutely must get the cannoli! They're phenomenal. Will definitely come back when I am in town again!

And when i got my food it didnt have everything in it that it said was supposed to be in it so i called and talked to angelo. And at first he seemed nice and then says he cant do anything about it but hopes i give them another chance and i asked why i would if u cant do anything about my food not being right and from there he stared yelling and cursing at me and said i was a shitty person. And i said i am being a nice Christian and he shouldn't be talking to me like that.he yelled and cursed even more and it when on.. He was so very rude and really upset me.. Just so very wrong of him ..... Never again will i go back...

Last nite we were looking for a restaurant that has delivery. So I checked yelp to find a pasta place. My choice was Wise Guys because the reviews were good.
I was glad to see a menu posted in the pics. It helps to make a choice. I found the prices very reasonable and received a good amount of food for the price.
Matt was very polite and he sounded busy. He asked if he could call me back with my total, which doesn't happen often. After a couple of minutes he called back with the total. It took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive.
I order the Manicotti with a side salad. My husband order the lasagna with a side salad. We both enjoyed our meals. Lots of good melted cheese on both dishes. I personally found the sauce a bit bland. It could have had a little more flavor to it. Still the whole meal for was good. We will try them again

Cozy little Italian comfort food restaurant located on 7th street, in the plaza next to dollar general. Menu is on a screen above cashier and its a simple and yet varied menu. this place is clean and staff is friendly.

The decor suits the name with photos of old school "brat pack" and "wise guys" gangsters. The classic red and white checkered table cloth add that "italian feel" to the place. It is super casual "plastic cutlery" which is fine given the casual atmosphere and menu pricing.

Now, I tried the shrimp diavolo, which was tail off shrimp tossed with spaghetti in a spicy marinara sauce. The sauce was nice and spicy with nicely crushed tomatoes, fragrant garlic and looked to be fresh basil. It arrived at my table piping hot. It was very delicious.

I love nothing more than to patronize our local economy by frequenting nice little Mom n Pop restaurants and shops.

I am looking forward to coming back with my daughter and trying something different.

Giving 3 stars for tonight's delivery order. My eggplant parm was sub-par, lacking in flavor and crispiness. The kids' meatballs were delicious, so maybe just avoid the eggplant. Family also enjoyed the bread sticks (which were huge & looked fantastic). I'll definitely give it a second try.

WiseGuys is super good! I'm an Italian food snob so I wasn't sure if I would like it, but they pack in the flavor at awesome prices that is unheard of in this area. Much better than any other Italian options in Joplin.

This was my first time eating here and I have to say the customer service is beyond horrible! We arrived around 3pm on a Saturday and there was no other customers but myself and my boyfriend, yet the man at the counter was very rude and gave off the impression that he just didn't want to deal with our presence. If I hadn't been so hungry, I would have turned around and walked out the door. I wanted to see how the food was since I love Italian. The food arrived and I ordered the lasagne. I would give the food a worse rating than the service. It was very blah and looked and tasted like something they just pulled out of the freezer and microwaved! The side salad was bland and microscopic in size. My boyfriend commented that between service and food, He had never had a worse restaurant experience than this one. We were extremely disappointed. If you are looking for a good meal with good customer service, STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! I give it a big zero!

Atmosphere reminds me of a fast food pizza place on the east coast; that's a good thing! They offer zoodles and healthier alternatives to pasta, which is helpful for the health conscious. The marinara left something to be desired (watery and bland) while the blackened Alfredo (with chicken) is phenomenal. I'll for sure return but will get the food to go. We wore masks inside but the staff only put one on when we walked up to order. The owner is really friendly.

It was good service, good vibes in the restaurant, good music, and some dang good food. Definitely coming back for more!
