Damn good breakfast. My fiance and I were passing through on our way home and stopped for breakfast. I got the wicked chicken biscuit which was honey sriracha fried chicken with pepper jack cheese on top of biscuits with sausage gravy and a sunny side up egg on top. Served with home fries on the side. Huge portion. So delicious. A little spicy but I like spicy, but if you are not a fan of spice I wouldn't opt for this dish. My fiance got the club sandwich on a croissant with tots on the side. Also very delicious. The house coffee was even very good for regular coffee. We didn't have any breakfast adults beverages but they had a pretty awesome looking bloody mary bar (build your own) and a mimosa bar. Would 100% stop here again if ever in the area. Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow but the place did get crowded and the food was worth it!

Had brunch with friends here on a Sunday morning. No wait for a table at 10 am. You will not leave this place hungry for sure. Brunch prices are similar to other places but you get tons of food (almost all dishes come with home fries and I love that even the sweet pancake dishes come with a side of eggs, meat, and home fries). If you are like me and can't decide between a sweet or salty breakfast food..this place is for you. Food was delicious--I had the blueberry lemon pancakes special and it was like eating a lemon blueberry cake for breakfast.
They also give free muffins before your meal (although we had to request them solely because I saw yelp reviews mentioning it and they wouldn't have brought them otherwise). There's also an endless bloody mary/mimosa bar which I'm still unsure if it was included with the meal or how much it is...they didn't tell us we could help ourselves so we didn't and didn't ask hah. Next time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Parand K.Los Angeles, United States3411278Dec 25, 2019
Amazing food - terrible service. We waited over an hour to get our food after placing the order. Didn't get coffee refills in the meantime either. Come on, victory garden cafe, do better! The food was terrific though. Zero complaints in that regard, but what a shame with the slow slow service.

A little off the beaten track . Friends recommended this place for lunch . The food is very good and the choices appeal to most . The DMV with shrimp salad and crab cake is very good
Highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunchHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Annie T.Bethesda, United States5131152644Jul 23, 2017
I was in Eastern Shore for my cousin's wedding and my family was trying to find a place to eat between the ceremony and reception. After searching on my trusty Yelp we decided on Victory Garden Café, best decision ever!
The walk from the hotel was about 10 minutes and we were dying in the heat, stepping into the restaurant felt like heaven. We had a party of 12 and were seated right away. Everyone noticed we were dressed in our wedding finery and complimented us all around, it was a great welcome.
Everything on the menu sounded delicious and right when I was about to settle on the Eastern Shore Benny, I find out it was happy hour and happy hour bar snacks were half priced. Boy did that change all my food decisions!
Me and my boyfriend decided to order the poutine fries, pickle fries, fried oysters, smothered tots, and the chicken wings with the spicy Indian sauce, just for ourselves. (Yes, we might have gone overboard)
The crispy fried oysters were the first to come out and it was sooo good! Perfect crisp on the outside and the inside was soft and tender. It came with two dipping sauces, cocktail sauce & a lemon sauce. That lemon sauce was like crack to me, I was dipping everything in that sauce.
The poutine fries were next & it was amazing! The brisket was soft and cooked perfectly. The combination with the gravy, cheese & everything together was delish!
The bf really enjoyed the chicken wings with the spicy Indian sauce. It had a kick with a good curry chutney flavor. The smothered tots came out crispy and I liked the combination of the cheese, bacon, garlic sauce drizzled on top.
The pickle fries came out last and were a crispy delight. Even though I was insanely full, I was continuously munching on them and even finish them.
But the crowning glory of the whole experience of Victory Garden Café was the owner. During our meal it started to thunderstorm rain. It was getting time to get back to the wedding and there was no way we could walk back in that hurricane like weather. We tried to see if there were Ubers nearby, but they were few and far. My sister was especially getting frantic because her daughter was in the wedding party and needed to change into her second outfit, but was locked out of the hotel room.
The owner who is the sweetest lady on earth heard about our plight and offered to drive our entire group back! She made THREE separate trips in that rain to make sure we got back to the hotel safely! Talk about above and beyond service! We are so grateful to her for her kindness, it made the day feel even more special. Thank you so much and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back for the awesome food and heart warming service!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Eric L.Easton, United States23118644Feb 2, 2018
The food here is fantastic! It's a casual, comfortable place where you're going to get a variety of menu items to select from, some weekly specials worth taking advantage of, and always consistent in terms of service and quality.
The one thing to note - and it's noted on their menu as well - it takes a little longer to get the food than you might expect. The kitchen is small, everything is made to order, so plan ahead time-wise and trust me, it's worth the wait!
I own a local B&B and I have sent many of my guests there. They all came back and agreed that the food was amazing and they really, really enjoyed the experience.
And excellent option in the downtown historic district of Easton!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Melissa V.Baltimore, United States1374254Jun 17, 2018
I had no idea this little spot existed! It is a bit off the beaten track -- residing in a mostly residential area rather than the restaurant-heavy streets downtown -- but it's still walking distance from all the action and is absolutely worth a visit.
The service is excellent. Everyone here is friendly and upbeat, as is the music. There's a good amount of bar seating in addition to tables, plus an adorable outdoor patio if you're craving some sun.
I ordered the "firebird sandwich," described as a "spicy crispy chicken on brioche with lettuce, tomato, avocado, house-made pickles, ranch, cole slaw and pepper jack." Don't order this unless you're hungry. You've been warned.
It wasn't spicy by my standards (I enjoy a good amount of heat), but it had a small, satisfying kick to it, paired with a little sweetness. It could have been a bit crispier, though the slaw probably had something to do with that. Thankfully it came with an enormous steak knife, because I'm not sure how I would have tackled it otherwise. The side salad was lovely, and a nice complement to the heaviness of the sammy (though you're free to choose tots or fries instead).
The waitress recommended the huevos rancheros, which I will absolutely come back another time to try.
The only downside to this place was that they couldn't serve alcohol until 10 am. (I was hoping for a mimosa with my 9:30 am brunch.)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - K M.Baltimore, United States01318Jun 21, 2018
Wow. Came here on a Thursday afternoon for no reason. They serve breakfast and lunch until 5. Happy hour is 3-6. I had an amazing salmon and brie Benedict. My wife had a huge blueberry bagel French toast (see pics!). House wine $5/glass and very good chardonnay. Huge menu and I wanted everything. We'll be back here before we leave Easton. If you are in Easton. Don't miss this place

This small restaurant has an unbelievable selection of immensely different food. Whether you want eggs and pancakes or chorizo or salads they have you covered. The food is cooked fresh and perfectly no matter what you order; their chef is very good at being diverse.
Love the box on the menu about the size of the kitchen is about the size of a confessional, so be patient. The free muffins and bottomless Bloody Mary's and Mimosas kept us occupied while waiting for our food. There is seating on the front patio in the sun and it was a gorgeous spring day to enjoy it!
The food was fantastic. The three of us ordered a variety from grilled chicken salad to blueberry and lemon curd topped pancakes served with 2 eggs, breakfast meat and hashbrowns to chorizo ranchero bcuz they were out of short ribs for hubs first choice. Sorry, i suck at taking pictures of food, as a proud fattie all good intentions go out the window when delicious looking food I have never tried is placed in front of me. I'm working on it!
The negatives? They advertise as having brunch but it is definitely not a typical brunch. It's just that they have both breakfast and lunch options on the menu. We were disappointed by that. We interpret brunch as a buffet style with many different lunch and breakfast options.
Secondly we did not know the Bloody Mary mix had Old Bay seasoning it. Maybe they are just a quaint town restaurant and think they mostly serve locals who love Old Bay on EVERYTHING but people travel to Easton for small stays to enjoy the slower way of life here. And the one thing I'd think would have Old Bay on it but didn't was the hashbrowns.
We did not sit inside but had to go in to get refills on our drinks, which is less work for the waitresses but kinda annoying having to interrupt conversations to get refills. The inside had some great decor and was really hodge podge but it somehow all worked together. I took lots of pictures. What I didn't like was how dark it is inside the restaurant. I'm really glad we chose to sit outside.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
