Vat 2

This was a fantastic night out with my wife for a light dinner in a great part of town with amazing views of the bay. We had a number of sharing plates which were full of flavour and great to share. Cauliflower poppers, Sweet potato fries, Parmigiana balls and Oyster Bao Buns. The Bao bun was the star with a crumbed oyster kilpatrick the centre of a light fluffy Bao bun with accompaniments.There was many other offerings including mains and desserts, but the wide selection of entré "sharing" plates was perfect for our needs. Wide selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks. Only improvement would be a higher spec Shiraz that was older than 2 years by the glass.

Service was excellent, aside from a short wait on entry, water was plentiful and often, as was the need to know our enjoyment levels. A very relaxed and comfortable ambiance as opposed to formal, but obvious effort has been trained into the staff. Very enjoyable.

Vat 2 is my favourite restaurant in Bunno. Service is excellent, food is fantastic and a really good range of wine.
I've been coming to the VAT2 since it opened and it's never let me down.
They have a private room for functions which I utilised for my 50th birthday.
One other thing. They do change there menu so it's great to tuck into the latest trends in food.

We're down in Bunbury for a weekend wedding and dropped in here for our Valentine's Day lunch. Three things -

1. Staff were incredible. Attentive, knowledgable, friendly.

2. Food was really good.

3. The day was perfect and the outlook amazing.

Recommended. Great lunch spot. They've even got a guy in the car park to help you get the best park!

Was here for a corporate function, so I cannot comment on the normal experience, however i am not inclined to come here again. Service was not upto standards. Got served the wrong dish multiple times. Vegetarian options were non-existent (I got a large piece of deep-fried tofu that was totally tasteless).
Dessert was quite good (raspberry cheesecake). Great views however.
I will admit that others have had better experiences so I could have just been unlucky.
