Outstanding! Excellent selection! Great seasonal items good hours. Good wines this is how you do a store! The gold standard here. The only thing I would change is make it bigger !

II walked in to the store today for picking up organic local vegetables. I was looking for dill but it was no dill on a shelf. A manager asked me if I need any help. I said that I'm looking for dill. He said -one moment, I will pick it for you from the backyard where they have boxes with different growing plants. Can you imagine? I got just second ago picked dill in a grocery store!
I love this place. Very friendly and attentive staff. The store is pretty small ( and I love it because it saves a lot of my time) and the store has everything I need!
I'm so happy to find it!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lori K.MA, United States07Mar 13, 2022

Great little store. Fabulous produce. Great baked goods. Decent beer and wine selection. They also have a garden shop - though I've never bought anything from the garden shop.
I only remove 1 star due to pricing - especially produce prices.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John C.NH, United States0655May 19, 2017
Top notch neighborhood grocery. I love Tilly & Salvy's.
Tilly's is both a grocery and a garden center. They have an excellent produce department and meat shop. They often have local produce like corn on the cob. Their butchers are expert in skills like slicing prosciutto and the deli features a small, but well chosen selection of specialty items like lamb chops, tenderloin, or whatever they have that day. The dairy and frozen goods have all the standard items you would expect like Philadelphia cream cheese and Tropicana orange juice. They carry a range of ice cream including small local brands. They have a broad selection of high-quality candy and cookies plus a small assortment of fresh bakery items like bread and bagels. They have wine and beer. They have ice.
The only complaints I would have are that the cheese selection is not very sophisticated and the prepared meals, like pre-made sandwiches and soups and salads, are mediocre.
The garden center has a range of plants and flowers for people that want to decorate their yard. They sometimes have fresh herbs like basil.
There is a standup ATM machine next to the counter.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dimitri T.San Francisco, United States01Sep 27, 2020
I love the store, but 5 dollars a gallon of milk, 5 for a dozen eggs, 10 dollars for a 7 dollar 6 pack of Sam Adams, 3 dollars for a dollar candy...its a bit much. One bag of groceries is like 70 dollars.

Always good to support local businesses. It's a friendly, small, family owned market. Of course, prices are a bit higher than your large-chain grocery store, but in a pinch, I'd go there for some groceries. Always have great friendly service. Some notables that you wouldnt find in large stores:
* great selection of local frozen italian food (lolas) and pastas
* Local baked goods/treats/sweets selection (cookies, pies, tarts, chocolate etc)
* Beers and wines!
* outside, they would have plants and garden shop in the summer, and trees and christmas wreaths in the winterHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alex C.Austin, United States5291Nov 7, 2015
I love Tilly's! They are a friendly, family owned business that stocks a great selection of products in a small space. I wish there was a Tilly's in every neighborhood!
Highlights for me:
-LOTS of local products. Pies, treats/sweets, breads, prepared foods, as well as veggies and fruits.
-Fresh hot and cold coffee. They have a great selection of whole beans as well.
-Specialty diet items. Whether you don't eat gluten or are a vegan they have something for you.
This place definitely deserves everyone's support and business. Places like this are becoming rare, and Tilly's definitely does it the best!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jess D.Natick, United States0107Aug 25, 2018

Little grocery, fresh vegetables, small deli and excellent cuts of meat. They folks are really nice. I have come to trust them to make good choices in what to stock.
