Good menu. The atmosphere is somewhere inbetween a private club lounge and the seemingly ubiquitous 'trendy' design fancied by the likes of Earl's and Moxie's. The decor is definitely a bit more complete then I have seen elsewhere in Saskatoon.
I had two appetizers, an arugula salad (very large, good value) and a plate of goat cheese with flatbread crisps. Both were prepared well and presented nicely.
I'm not sure I would go alone again, the bar was small and no TV. Seems like a place you go for date night or a company dinner.
Parking is available adjacent to the building (like 5 spots worth), after 5pm their is a lot open caddy-corner, or street parking is not bad.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jaime J.Ooltewah, United States2218728Aug 7, 2015
Very nice restaurant. I came in rather late, and they were still open. I was the only one in the restaurant. But they allowed me to have dinner. Service and food very good. I asked for no peppers in my pasta dish, and somehow the chef must have missed it, but the food was good anyway.

Really yummy food, their kahlua cheesecake is amazing. Plus they were great when my best friend magically needed them to find seating for 13 people with only 30min notice. They have the best sundried tomato risotto I've had to date (mind you, I haven't eaten dozens of risotto's)

I had a fantastic gluten-free meal (steak, Caesar salad, and mashed potatoes) and a delicious creme brûlée for dessert. I highly recommend this place as the staff is well educated on gluten-free diets.

For a supposedly high class restaurant, we sure had a classless waitress.
Our group of 10 went to the Ivy for a going away lunch for a coworker leaving on maternity leave. We selected the Ivy because we wanted a bit of a fancier experience.
We preordered our food, but were confused about ordering sides for our lunches because they are not listed as a choice on the website. Upon arriving we were told that since we didn't decide on sides soon enough, we would all be getting the house salad.
The food was pretty good, all in all, but the service was inexcusably bad.
When we asked why our orders for sides weren't allowed to be changed when we got here, our waitress said bitterly that if we changed our orders, then it wouldn't be a preorder, now would it? We were in a private room due to our large party size, and once she dropped off everyone's food, she slammed the doors to our section shut. Our also waitress never asked anyone if they wanted anything to drink but water. She rudely told a woman who asked for ranch with her house salad that they only make dressings in house, and do not stock ranch, then proceeded to not offer any other salad dressing options. She brought our bills out and started going around with the debit machine before everyone had even finished eating.
All in all, embarrassingly bad service from a restaurant that is supposed to be upscale. I've had better service at Denny's.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marcus D.Saskatoon, SK0314Dec 12, 2014
Food was mostly passable, some of it even excellent. Service atrocious. 90 minutes between ordering and receiving food. 3 hours now and still no dessert. Poor performance.

Marcus we apologize that you had such a long wait back in December. Obviously, this was a huge mistake on our part. Were you able to communicate any of these concerns to our staff that evening? We appreciate the opportunity to make it right so we would like to invite you to come back and try us again and let us know who you are so we can apologize properly, in person, and to Thank You for giving us another try. That is not something we would want you to expect to happen again!

Love the atmosphere and the people. The service is great and the food has never been disappointing. It is suited for groups of 8 or more as we have used the rooms for more privacy. Love it

I walked in with a friend no reservations but was seated immediately. We ordered a wine suggested by the waiter very nice choice. The food came out fairly quick and was nice and hot. The steak was delicious as well as dessert. I recommend this place to my friends all the time. I will be returning again.

Upscale Humpty's. Mediocre service, flat beer on tap, stunky wine. Food was comparable to Humpty's or Denny's. Had better prime rib at a potluck supper
