New fave!! Cute place, relatively short wait for a table, great service, and friggin fantastic food!! My husband and I had the ricotta doughnuts, crispy Yukon potatoes, breakfast sammy, and cornmeal pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious! The bacon was especially good, it was cooked perfectly and tastes like how a campfire smells. The scallion cheddar biscuit that my sandwich was on was out of this world. The doughnuts were so doughy and fluffy and yummy. The potatoes were perfectly crisped, and the pancakes were fluffy and flavorful.

We sat at the bar and had 2 servers waiting on us. The atmosphere is cozy. There is a little area of chairs to either enjoy a cup of coffee at or wait for a table. There's a retail counter when you first come in where you can order coffee or pastries to go.

My husband and I can't wait to go back here as many times as necessary to try everything on the menu!!

Such a cute, farmhouse style restaurant. Yesterday was a bright sunny day and perfect for brunch. They had the large window open for a nice breeze and the wait was shorter than expected for a Saturday afternoon. I've not been too many restaurants in Newport, but I'll definitely be back here as it's one of my new favorites.

My friends suggested this place and they mentioned the menu changes frequently, which is great so you don't have to feel like you've tried everything already when you come back. They also have fresh ingredients and healthier options for typical breakfast foods.

I enjoyed everything from the atmosphere of the place to the service and the food. Our waiter was named Borden (no, not Gordon) and he was absolutely delightful. He was patient with our orders, attentive, and connected well with the group.

We ordered the cheddar scallion biscuits and tried the Italian Ricotta Doughnuts with strawberry lemon curd to start. The biscuits are not so heavy but the perfect fluffy and flaky exterior. The doughnuts were fluffy and warm. The lemony flavor of the dressing made them so refreshing. For my meal, I ordered the Breakfast Sammy with a side of bacon. The bacon is crisp and not lathered in oil, which I love. I also love crispy bacon but do wish it was just a tad less crispy than it was, but still yummy. The sandwich was just the right amount of food. The perfect sunny side up egg and the picked onion added just the right flavor with the cheddar scallion biscuit. I ordered an Irish coffee and it was filled to the very top, and a good amount of alcohol.

By the end of brunch I felt I ate just the right amount of food and not bloated like other brunches. The ingredients were fresh and balanced. I can't wait to come back here with my friends again, especially with the weather warming up. Parking in the area is also easy to find, which is a plus for me.

Finally was able to get a seat at a table here - and I mean FINALLY - this place is always packed! I highly recommend making reservations (because honestly you wont get a table otherwise) and NOTE: They must be made over 24 hours in advance via their website for Saturday/Sunday brunch.

Upon arriving this place is ADORABLE - such a cute and trendy atmosphere and with eclectic tables, chairs, couches, art, etc. - the bathrooms are even super cool tbh. It was a little crowded at the door due to people with To Go coffee orders and people waiting to be seated but they definitely got you seated quickly upon arrival which was great.

I came here with 2 others and we decided to split the Italian Ricotta Doughnuts with Pear-Ginger Butter ($7) as a starter and WOW they were delicious - crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside - there were 4 in the bowl but they were so good and sweet we really could only have one each.

Two of us decided to do the Bottomless Drip Coffee ($5) - we ended up only getting two cups of it during our time there which kinda stunk - mainly I think due to how crowded the place was and how busy the hostess / waitress (yes she played both roles) was.

For my main dish I got the Breakfast Sammy which came on a cheddar scallion biscuit with spicy aioli, pickled red onion, arugula and a fried egg ($8) and a side of Goetta ($3.5). The sandwich was a little too hard to pick up and eat so I ended up cutting it up and adding my Goetta to it and with a little salt & pepper it was very tasty! The picked red onions were surprisingly the highlight of the sandwich - full of so much flavor and it was something different versus other brunch places I've been.

One friend had the same breakfast sandwich as me, while the other had the Two Eggs (he had them scrambled) with two thick cut pieces of brioche with butter/jam and two slices of bacon ($10) - he also said his meal was very delicious but was a little disappointed with the amount of eggs he got on the plate.

Overall - definitely recommend this place because in Newport we do not have many cool trendy brunch places, the atmosphere was great, friendly staff, and the food was solid.

The limited brunch menu (I don't eat red meat or pork and bacon and hash are the only meat options listed) almost kept me away, but glad I gave this new KY gem a try.

The wait was about 25 min, because this place is small, but they made the best possible use of space and have a cute quaint waiting area. There's also a little bar if you don't mind eating on a stool.

The bar has limited selections, but fresh squeezed juice take their mimosas up a notch. Our meals were very well cooked and tasty. My favorite was the egg in a hole (commonly called egg in a frame) and who can discount the breakfast of revolutionaries ($1 to whoever gets that reference)? The biscuit that accompanied the Breakfast Sammy is scrumptious and gives Red Lobster cheddar bay a run for their money.

I like this cute little spot and would return because what they have they do well, but the limited menu wouldn't make it a favorite for me.

In the middle of nowhere in Newport, my friend took me to this place for brunch and what a find it was. Great food, ambiance and service!
There is apparently always a line. We tried to go early @10:30am and found a line already!
*Tip: They take reservations for Saturday brunch for larger parties

Such a trendy spot. The interiors is so well done! Our server was super nice. Everything on the menu looked like something I would order. My friend raved a lot about the breakfast Sammy so I had to order. It was delicious. We also order the fried chicken Sammy which I think was overrated by the waiter. Roasted beets as starters was seasonal and that is a must!

For drinks, I order the tangerine ginger tea which is one of my recent favorites. I am of the opinion that anything ginger, you can't go wrong!

All in all, nice brunch spot to try!

We went for brunch on our anniversary on a Saturday morning and it was very busy. They do not take reservations so this very small restaurant is usually packed. The decor and feel of the restaurant has been well-thought out and the clarity of what they are trying to say is much appreciated. They do not have much space available to wait, but they do have a fun and comfortable couch if you are lucky enough to get a seat while you wait.

The food is well cared for and you can definitely tell the homeade baked goods are the stars of the dishes. We had the avocado toast, breakfast Sammy, shrimp & grits and a pancake. All were very good and well cared for. The bread for the avocado toast is very thick. Half of the slice we received would be fine!

I wish they offered a house made gluten free bread and a few more vegetarian options. We usually get creative with their menu to create our own vegetarian option. They usually have 1-2 things on menu that are vegetarian, but consider making variations of your meat dishes for people who want something without. The staff/chef at this restaurant is so talented that a house made veggie burger would be amazing!

All in all, a fantastic place to eat with excellent service and food.

Went this past weekend and had an amazing brunch!!! Worth the wait in line.

Got the breakfast Sammy with goetta and the flavors were so balanced and tasty. Also the DONUTS! My friends and I shared an order of their donuts and I was not mad at all! So tasty warm and the dipping sauce was perfect amount of sweetness.

Wow! The food was amazing. My table spilt an order of the ricotta donuts that were servedI got the breakfast Sammy with an over easy egg, pickled red onions and a spicy aioli. My party split an order of the ricotta donuts. These sugar-coated delights were served with a strawberry lemon curd that was perfectly sweet and tart. The Kentucky Mule I got was a little heavy on the ginger beer side for my taste, but still refreshing all the same.

I went to this restaurant for brunch as part of a Meetup event. The inside was a bit smaller than expected. We had to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seated, with a reservation but I quickly learned that this place is worth the wait. To start, I had a blood orange mimosa, which I'd never seen before. ''Twas very tasty. The menu presented a host of interesting and creative options, making it difficult to make a decision and choose just one item. Thankfully, I was with a friend who suggested we split two entrees. We chose the breakfast sammy with bacon and true sweet potato hash. Both were amazing but I decided I liked the Sammy a bit more, possibly because of the bacon. One can never go wrong when it comes to bacon. The experience was made complete by the great service we received from our server. The food is very affordable, compared to other highly regarded restaurants in the area. The drinks were a bit pricy for my taste. However, compared to competitors with similarly priced drinks, they were top notch. I can definitely see myself visiting The Baker's Table again.

We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday and the entryway was very crowded so being seated was a bit chaotic, but certainly didn't ruin our experience as we were seated within 10 minutes. This restaurant has a rustic elegance and makes you feel at home. The specialty coffees are smooth and wonderful. The ricotta doughnuts are perfectly sweet and shareable. We also tried the breakfast sammy and the cornmeal pancakes. Both were cooked perfectly and absolutely scrumptious. We will be back!
