Wonderful restaurant. The best meal I've had in London!
Parking was easy to find along the streets.

We ordered a combo platter (option A) with the daily special, lega tibbs. The platter was beautiful and very filling for our party of 3. My aunt had never tried Ethiopian food before and she really enjoyed everything!
We ended our meal with a cozy tea, I loved the cinnamon notes in it. The workers were warm and inviting, I would love to come back here

Not bad, not great, not really worth the price. I got the vegetarian combination and the flavours didn't really impress me. The vegetables were actually quite tasty, better than the lentil dishes imo. For the price I expected a bigger portion, but I did like the variety though.

First time trying Ethiopian food, and I specifically chose this place because I've heard amazing things about it!
The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived (and stayed empty throughout), and the server was super attentive throughout. She's the daughter of the owner, and I heard from her that all the embellishments and decorations inside are authentically Ethiopian! She offered extremely friendly service, and was always kind and accommodating.

My friend and I ordered the vegetarian/vegan combination platter, as we figured the best way to try Ethiopian food would be to go all in and get the most variety the first time!
When the platter arrived, we were overblown by the sheer size and presentation of it. The server very kindly explained all the different dishes, and we received unlimited injera bread to eat with the food.

It was an unreal experience! My personal favourite was the squash with hot sauce (unfortunately, I couldn't remember the names, and this dish wasn't on the menu!), and a close second was the stir fried green beans. All the flavours were so complex and distinct! For instance, you could taste the subtle sourness of the injera bread, the sweetness of the squash piercing through the hotness of the spices, the texture of the lentils and chickpeas... it was so homey and simply amazing!

We were so stuffed by the end of it that we couldn't even finish the first plate of injera, and had to pack the leftovers for the next day. We then ended our meal with Ethiopian coffee - which, in itself, was an experience!

The server came out with a pan, roasting the coffee beans right in front of us. It smelled like popcorn, but much stronger and more aromatic. We then received two separate small jugs with a cute and delicate cup/plate. The coffee was taken black, with only some sugar on the side (to be added according to preferences). Don't be fooled by the size of the jug - there was actually a lot of coffee inside (we couldn't even finish it all).

The coffee is very strong, but very aromatic as well. It's very smooth, but there's the definite and unmistakable acidity that cuts to your senses.

Overall, a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend you come should you get the chance!

Awesome food! We always go for the vegetarian platters, and are never disappointed in flavour. It helps to call ahead with an order, but the food is almost always ready a bit late. Luckily it's so fresh and tasty that it's always worth it.

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and I had such an amazing experience. I came here tonight with the Yelp International Supper Club, and there were a group of 8 of us to try this amazing, authentic cuisine.

Looking on the menu, there were a bunch of different combination platters and we all opted to share a platter, one was chicken & vegetarian and one was a bit of everything. This was served on their traditional injera bread which is a flat spongy bread that not only the food is served upon, but you get some on the side to eat with the food; no utensils needed for this dish.

The food itself was delicious and flavourful, and the best part was ripping off a piece of the injera bread and scooping up the food with it to eat it. I may have eaten a lot more of my share of this because of how delicious all the different foods tasted. They have a really great selection of vegetarian and vegan options as well. and chicken for those who aren't into red meat.

The ambiance of the restaurant was relaxing, and the owners who were the ones who had served us where wonderful with explaining everything on the menu. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in the city and I will be coming back with my boyfriend for our next date night.

A diamond in the rough! Wow this place is amazing. From the service to the food, to the post-meal coffee, it was such a fun experience.

We had a large group so we had 2 combination platters between us. I recommend this because you can try lots of different items and share with your friends (or people you just met, its a great way to get to know each other)!

The platter I ate from had chicken, beef (both mild and spicy versions) plus a few different lentil stews and some made with veggies like cabbage. You eat it with a special bread and you eat with your hands! Each selection was absolutely full of flavour and really really good.

Later, our waiter brought out a sizzling pan and inside was the coffee he was roasting for us. It smelled similar to popcorn. The coffee is served in tiny little cups and it is very very tasty.

This is a great spot if you want to experience something new, eat REALLY tasty food, and enjoy an awesome environment. Just go!

Entering TG's Addis Ababa you can tell the food will be authentic and homemade. It was decorated with traditional instruments, clothes, and paintings.

My boyfriend and I visited on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted and seated quickly. The owners (I assume) brought over water for us as we were browsing the menu.

We decided on the combination platter which includes a mix of meats and vegetables-- ordered 2 servings. If this is your first time trying Ethiopian food I would definitely recommend this platter! Everything was spiced and flavoured well; the spices did not over power the main ingredients. Our favourite was the chicken(in the middle) and the cabbage (top right beside the peas)! The best part about our experience is how you eat-- with your hands! The amount of food you get is a lot. You will probably have leftovers. Because it was our first time eating Ethiopian food the owner took his time explaining to us what we were about to eat.

The owners were friendly, inviting, and attentive. We had a lovely time, would definitely revisit and bring more friends!

My first time having Ethiopian food and I'm hooked!! I honestly am not a curry fan but although Ethiopian food is all curry based, it's sooooo DELICIOUS!! Service here was amazing too! I definitely recommend this place and I for sure will be back!

Traditional coffee. So cute and delicious!
This platter was a combo of meat and veggies. There was not 1 thing I didn't like. Everything was SOOOO GOOD!!!
