A cute little bbt shop located along the Marpole area. With how lovely the decor and ambiance is, this store would make a very cute date spot. The drinks were nice, loved the combination of green tea and mango in the Mango Full House and the nice balance in the Cheese Cream Milk Tea. The price on the other hand is a bit on the high side for bbt though.
They also have the Brown Sugar drink series available every 3pm and 7pm!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 31, 2018Updated review
Have been wanting to try this place out for such a long time! It was pleasantly empty when we came on a Monday night around 9PM.
We asked the barista what he recommended and he said his favourite was the Pomegranate drink. My friend ordered that one while I ordered a Malt Milk Tea. (The fruit drinks only come in a large size while all the milk teas come in both a small and a large size.)
The Pomegranate drink was unfortunately quite mediocre and was very pricey (costed about ~$7). Although, I kind of understand why as they put fresh pomegranate bits AND pearls in the drink! They also gave us an extra cup on the side for the seeds- which was a little tedious as we were constantly spitting seeds out while trying to enjoy the pearls. :(
The malt milk tea tasted unique and reminded me of a roasted oloong flavour and it was quite enjoyable! The pearls were chewy but not amazing.
If offered a chance to return, I most likely won't and would much rather choose to go to various other bubble tea locations.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 29, 2018Previous reviewHave been wanting to try this place out for such a long time! Quiet little bubble tea shop on the Granville strip, super convenient for people taking transit as the location is right outside the #10 route. Currently running on a take out only model, seating removed, doors propped opened & spacious interior making it a very comfortable business to visit during these unprecedented times. Ordered the ultimate fresh fruit tea today, loaded with fresh fruits (watermelon, grapes, apple & orange slices), natural aromatic tea flavors coming through without the overwhelming taste of fruit syrups.

They use fresh ingredients, fresh fruit, real brewed teas, so this is a big plus for me as I can't stand powdered fruit drinks and teas. However, due to the quality of the ingredients the prices a bit on the high side for bubble tea.
Seeing as it was 10pm and too late for caffeine, we opted for something fruity and refreshing - what's more refreshing than mango? We ordered the mango full house, mango green tea cheese foam, and the mango slush. Fresh mangoes were used in all the drinks and luckily they weren't sour! All the drinks tasted great, the pearls were a good consistency and the cheese foam was tasty not too watery. We'll definitely be back to try their other fruit teas, and fresh taro drinks!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 4, 2018
After hearing people rave about this place, I decided to drive 30 min here just to try it out. This is a nice quiet little joint that is locally owned. It is clean and simple and very comfortable inside.
Pros:
- Friendly owners
- Simple and easy to understand menu
- Drinks are refreshing and pearls are chewy
Cons:
- After I went home, I realized one of my drinks was wrong. I was a little upset since the store was not busy at the time.
- Drinks are pricey (averaging around $5-$ 5.50 per drink) and cups are smaller than other places
I'm quite impressed with the branding of this cafe - chairs have their store name printed on them, the cups have their logos, cups are made from sturdy plastic, and cardboard take away bags with store logos.
With so many dessert options around the area (Snackshot, Mr. Mustache, Bubble Bear, and Doolami), I don't think I would be enticed to specifically come back, however, this is a nice place to come study at or catch up with friends.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1314852653Nov 21, 2019
They have two locations that I know of... South Granville and Metrotown. After a long hiatus of going cold on bbt, a dear friend gifted me some bbt. The original brown sugar milk tea is very delicious, the milk tea tasted of fresh milk and the perfect velocity, a bit mild in the sugar department but I did have two in one seating back home so all good. The tapioca pearls were warm, soft and chewy. I can taste the quality of the pearls and milk tea. I like how they've caramelized the sugar. Servers were nice and accommodating. The cafe is clean and were nicely lite.

I was in the area and was craving for bbt. This place has good reviews so I thought I'd check it out. I didn't really know what to order so I just got mango green tea with cheese cream based on recommendation from other reviews. I got less sweet and with pearls. Bbt's now are pretty pricey.
They weren't busy so I got my order in no time. I immediately noticed that they use good quality containers and didn't have to worry about my drink spilling. The bbt was good. Pearls just had the right chewiness. It didn't taste like real mango though but still good. The cheese cream was good but it's hard to taste it at the beginning as you are sipping from the bottom. Then towards the end it was too cheesy. There must be a technique to drinking this type of beverage where you get the right amount of tea and cheese. Lol
Place was nice with a number of tables and chairs. Good place to hang out.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Stephy Y.Richmond, BC1469631517Aug 17, 2019
Love their brown sugar pearls!!! It has a smokey tastes to them. Their milk tea is very weak and mixing the pearls doesn't help. I'd rather not mix the pearls to enjoy the sweet and smokeyness with a sip of the tea. I love the sturdiness of their cup. It's the strong plastic which could be reused.

One of the best bubble tea places in British Columbia! The bubble tea is well balanced (compared to other places in Vancouver) and the owners are outrageously kind. Because of these two considerations, I am willing to drive to Taan char for its bubble tea despite having a shop below where I live.
Ps they have free popping candy that reminds me of childhood.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1093241389May 4, 2019
A small bubble tea shop along Granville. There's limited seating here and it was very busy at night. They have a good variety of drinks to choose from, but there are more drink options posted up on the walls that aren't on their regular menu. For a limited time they have a black currant drink. It didn't say what it was on the poster, but we ordered it anyways. I liked the drink because it wasn't overly sweet and you could actually taste the tea.
