The story of T-swirl Crepe starts thousands of miles away on the shores of Japan. The Japanese Crepe borrows from a western concept and modernized it into new level of versatility that you can gobble on the go. Building on this new concept, T-swirl started to research and have perfected the 100% gluten free rice flour batter, to craft a crispy thin chewy layer that embraces all the decadent condiments. T-swirl is the only destination to satisfy your crepe cravings. As you crack open the door, the initial whiff is enchanting. The air perfumes with aroma of fresh fruits and savory bacon as you walk closer to the counter. Once there, you are greeted with an inviting smile; letting you know that you are about to embark on a mouth-watering adventure. T-swirl may be known for artistic creation and delicious cuisine, but our core philosophy is build upon phenomenal customer service, quality, consistency, cleanliness and convenience.

We were in search of a dessert spot near Yonge St. and Wellesley St., and this one came up. There's a slight incline upward when pushing the door open (inwards), and the door catches on the incline, not allowing the door to fully open. There are three two-seater tables and a few seats at the high-top table facing Yonge St. The washroom is currently closed to customers. While we were there, we saw customers purchase their crepes to go instead of eating them in the shop.
We ordered the Banana Chocolate and Matcha Azuki Bean Crepes. The only staff working there was really fast at making our crepes. The Banana Chocolate Crepe has sliced bananas, chocolate truffles, chocolate custard cream, whipped yogurt, chocolate sauce, and granola. The Matcha Azuki Bean Crepe has sliced strawberries, red bean, matcha custard cream, whipped yoghurt, matcha ice cream (gelato), slivered almonds, and chocolate Pocky sticks. Both types of crepes were delightful and not too sweet. These crepes aren't cheap, but they're a good treat once in a while.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 0 - Otr D.Richmond Hill, ON04Mar 26, 2024
Why is the washroom at this restaurant always close for customers? Can somebody please look into this? It has been like this for months.

We were happy to find a dessert place open late on a Saturday night suitable for families with young kids ! The concept is nice it's a wrapped crepe so easy to be hand held! We got the berry one and kids made their own, Nutella and strawberry! We would have loved if it was more on the crispy side

T Swirl cafe used to have icecream in their crepes, now plain custard gel. It was sweeter than before, less enjoyable. Not sure if it is this location or overall change. I had the lychee one. Mango delight was not even on menu here. Surprised by that. Staff was good. Wven teriyaki chicken - chicken pcs were loaded w salt. Hope it was an isolated incident. I love T Swirls in NY/ CT states in the US.

It was just ok. We had two savory crepes: Teriyaki chicken and BLT. Crepes were not bad but not extraordinary. Two crepes came to 35 dollars which I found expensive. Staff was unpleasant. I don't think I'll come back.

This spot was bookmarked for a while so finally got to try it. They advertise this spot as Japanese crepe and being a fan of all things Japanese I was looking forward to this visit. They do take their time in preparing your crepe so be ready for a bit of a wait.
I tried the original creme brulee version. Hmm a bit odd but the crepe was cold (maybe the filling made it cold) down to brulee on top. I didn't enjoy my dessert version. There are lot of better options for dessert nearby so I don't think I will visit againHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 12205780Oct 15, 2019
Finally went here after finding a card from them marked with two stamps. Buy 9 and get the 10th free. A large investment.
The crepes are tasty.
Today I ordered something savoury for my palette as I was rather hungry and desired some protein. The shrimp avocado crêpe has just that and then some. Additions of soy bean and spinach make for a complete crêpe. Topped with somewhat of a sweet teriyaki and lightly wasabi tasting, sauce. Pretty good.
Six more crêpes to get before my free one. I would definitely try their smoked salmon, their chicken and then some of their sweet options.
Their presentation is aesthetically pleasing. The uts of fruit and veggie are definitely appealing to the eye.
They have an easy-to-peel packaging and they also showcase their crepes in the storefront window on yonge. They look as pictured, which ensures consistency.
I also tried their chamomile, citron, iced green tea. Pretty good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 21, 2018
T-Swirl Crepe is in a pretty small space, with two tables that seat 6 and a bar counter with 3 seats.
The crepes are really carefully made, and are always picture worthy! The staff here have been friendly every time I've been here. The crepes can take a while to be ready (10-15 minutes).
I personally really like the smoked salmon crepe, but it's definitely a healthier crepe with not much sauce, so it might not be for some. The BLT is also really good. I've also tried the angus short ribs, but found it a bit too sweet with too much sauce.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend the crepes here! They always make for a good meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 7745131700Apr 1, 2018
Somewhat confused during the last visit. I came half a year ago and picked up some nice savory crepes. Last week, the menu they offered only had sweet crepes and drinks. Do they only offer savory crepes at certain hours of the day?
While I did drop by with the intention of getting a sweet crepe, I was looking at the menu and was surprised I couldn't find the savory set. Maybe it was a different menu, but they certainly took the initiative to offer us the sweet menu
Ordered the chocolate nut party, because I do like my chocolate.
It definitely did come as advertised, with two sticks of pocky, a scoop of chocolate ice cream, cubes of chocolate, chocolate sauce....lots of chocolate. It was enjoyable, but I would have preferred a nice warm crepe to go with the cold ice cream. Don't know if that's just how they do their sweet crepes or whether that's just how crepes are meant to be served.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jun 18, 2018
I was really excited to try this place as it was advertised as "Japanese Crepes." I think this place can only be called "Japanese-style crepes" as I felt like something was off...
The chocolate ice cream was extremely low quality and tasted awful. It ruined the whole crepe. The crepe was also way too sweet. By the end of it, it made you feel like throwing up. The Creme brûlée crepe was not bad, possibly because it was smaller and less sweet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
