Sushi King

Always had good food...the last few times the food just seems like it was rushed. We never get fortune cookies with our meal, no chop sticks. They use to be great. Hopefully they can pull it together and get back on track...

This is the second time in a row that I've been disappointed by my food from here. Their sushi is fine, good even, but their Chinese dishes (half of their menu) are generally sad.

These past 2 times I've tried noodle dishes because I don't like their sesame chicken (my usual Chinese order). Both times the vegetable portion has been mostly onion. In my Chow Fun tonight, there were 3 snow peas, some chopped bok choy, and onion. I swear they put an entire onion in my one portion. The rice noodles were overcooked to the point they were glued together. The only decent thing was there was a good amount of chicken, unfortunately it was bland. There was almost no flavor at all.

I only ordered because my favorite Chinese food place was closed today but next time that happens, I'll just order a different cuisine altogether.

I ordered Sesame Chicken and there was absolutely NO TASTE whatsoever to the meal. I should have known once I got into the car with my order that there was no smell coming out of the bag. That's right, no smell = no taste! Order elsewhere if you want a good chinese meal.

my dad ordered me food to be delivered today, he called at 7:30, it is now 9:45 and the food has yet to arrive. He even called to see where the food was at 9 and they said it was on the way but it has now been 45 minutes and I literally live 13 minutes away from this sad excuse for a restaurant. Literally all I ordered was a dinner combo and sushi. I might update this when/if the food arrives but it will most likely be cold and who wants cold rice?? You guys suck, I would give 0 stars if I could.

I like sushi, but man! This is one of the best sushi I've ever had...

Service is great, and the location is superb!

Delicious! I ordered a rainbow roll, a salmon roll, and the house special fried rice. The sushi was fresh, my only complaint is I wish I had asked for extra ginger!

Order was expected to be delivered before 1:45PM. It was at my door at 12:50! honestly thought a telemarketer was calling at first, I didn't expect my food to get here so fast!

Always fresh and good. Delivery or eat in. Delivery is relatively fast.

I got food poisoning from eating their chicken and broccoli and was throwing up all night. I wasn't sure at first, but this might have been intentional from remembering how I interacted with them when I picked up my order- I don't know how you guys can take this, but I sensed guilt. Be careful with takeout, the people who run this restaurant might pull something dirty on your order, maybe just for fun who knows.

I ordered this grub hub and it came so fresh. It was a lot better than I was expecting for a late dinner. I will def order from there again and try some other options. Additionally, we ordered the crab raggoon and beef sticks. I just dove into the sushi. Yum!

[Review regarding multiple takeout orders.] I've tried quite a few local generic-Chinese-food places, and I have to say, Sushi King stands out. I find myself reordering the same dishes because they taste good, and (more impressively) new dishes because I expect they will. Sushi King's entrees are reliably fresh, hot, crispy. Often when I order Chinese takeout in Albany I end up with dry high-school-cafeteria chicken nuggets in sauce and halfhearted attempts at crab imitation. Not so with Sushi King. Absolutely delicious food for a price easily competitive with any of the other local cheap takeout places; it's no Rain or Fairy Sichuan, but I haven't yet found a better option for the type of cuisine they offer. When we order from Sushi King not looking for expensive authentic Chinese dishes, we're looking for the sorts of tasty Americhinese takeout options that college students and exhausted new parents can afford. This place has saved my life a few times, as I am a father of a cranky newborn (the baby has so far made a point of caring very little for our wellbeing or nutritional status). Of course we have plenty of restaurants offering okay Chinese food around the same price, but remarkably, Sushi King tastes darn good. Refreshes our bodies and minds. Until the baby grows up a little and we can finally cook again: thank you, Sushi King!
