I like Steve's. I'm not usually a poke person but on the rare times I crave it, I always make sure to go to one of their locations. I love the wide range of choices that they have, you're not limited to a small amount of ingredients.
Their workers are always super friendly.

Clean inside and pretty decent seating for the area. It is a bit cold in general (not a heated place/one to stay long) but overall good enough to eat and go. The passionfruit tea was soso in my opinion otherwise I love going to this chain for my poke fix! Always say yes to the furikake, and crunchy toppings because they just make the dish that much better. Nice staff but very limited interaction other than placing my order and taking it to go.

Keep it comin', Steve! Whenever I'm in the mood for poke, Steve's Poke Bar is my top pick in the area.

Sitting at the desk all morning, I wasn't feeling what was in the fridge nor pantry. So delivery it was and poke seemed like the perfect thing to eat while hammering away at the keys on the keyboard.

I chose to build my own bowl today with both Spicy Ahi Tuna and Ala Moana Tuna. It's a rookie move not to include as many of the available toppings as you can eat. My go-tos are furikake, edamame, imitation crab, wakame, green onion, red onion, and both pickled ginger and radish. As I continue to eat this, I'm satisfied with my choices. It's friggin' delicious!

Anyway, I'm going back to eating this. It always brings me back to happy times in Hawaii.

Build your own bowl with spicy ahi tuna and Ala Moana tuna. Don't forget to max out those free toppings!

This location is clean and service is always good. Sashimi is fresh and cold. Love the varieties, and you can earn points to eventually get a free poke bowl.

I came in to this location on Christmas day for some Poke

The store had good distancing measures. And the staff were very friendly and helpful too!

Like that they offer a variety of bases like quinoa, salad and rice

The signs for Sauces and Toppings on the display case was also very helpful

The poke bowls tasted fresh, I would recommend the Shoyu ahi tuna

      I would come back !

I have taken a liking to poke and have been sampling different vendors in our region, as my job requires travelling throughout the Metro Vancouver area. This establishment has a solid offering of preset poke bowls, which saves you the effort of trying to decide which bases, proteins, and toppings you wish to combine. This is always a challenging task for me as all the varieties of fish seem equally delicious.

Whichever items you choose, they heap it on like there's no tomorrow! This is a welcome relief from other poke outlets, which bring out their scientific scales and measuring spoons like a pharmacist dispensing deadly fentanyl. Steve's Poke Bar is like the house that hands out full-size candy bars on Halloween while all the neighbours are hanging out Circus Peanuts.

You do need to provide your phone number to be eligible for their discounts and promotions. The first time I went, it took an inordinate amount of time for their rewards system to accept my number and create my profile, which was frustrating as I was starving and really wanted to just pay whichever price and eat already. However, the representative was very apologetic, and I knew not to take it out on them.

Wanted to give them a shot and phoned to ask whether they have an option of non-farmed (Wild sockeye rather than Atlantic) salmon. The person on the phone said they don't know which salmon they serve. Guess we are going elsewhere

Steve's Poke Bar is one of my favourite places for poke in Greater Vancouver ever since their first locations opened in Surrey. Their New West location in Sapperton is certainly no different. We got 2x choose your own bowls for pick up and ordered via their app. It was so easy to order and the best part was the unlimited toppings. Through their app, I even got a free poke soup so that was an added bonus. Quick service with a cute drawing to boot on our cover. Would recommend!

Got a poké bowl craving but don't want to trek into Vancouver ? Steve's Poké Bar has a location right near Sapperton skytrain in the Brewery District! Super friendly staff and amazing accommodations/substitute for my gluten intolerance.

Their bowls are amazingly delicious and super fresh! Pass by whenever you have a craving or want to try an authentic Hawaiian bowl for the first time. If you download their app, they have tons of rewards and discount codes you can take advantage of right away!

I had the pleasure of meeting Alan the owner of this location today! I could tell his love and passion for food reflects in the quality of the service provided as well as their products. I had a very particular order but he took the time to get it perfect for me and took my gluten intolerance very seriously.

      Bon appetit!
