Came here for coffee but stayed here for the amazing ocean view! This is one of the BEST Starbucks with an ocean view period!! The baristas are simply amazing and prompt but seriously, the view is simply breathtaking!!! They even have a nice fire pit with chairs to enjoy your nice hot coffee while embracing such fantastic view! Trust me, if you can, get your coffee and enjoy the view~!!!

Thanks to Alex for bringing me here! Alex even helped a stranger with her stalled car! He and a few other guys pushed the gal's car so that she could try to jump start it! Wow! She needs a new car... Haha!

Phenomenal 180 degrees view with a fire pit included.

It's super busy so it's easy for the baristas to miss or your mess up your order; happened to me.

Seating and outlet is limited. I suggest you bring your electronic device.

Other than enjoy the view and maybe with a sandwich since Subway is next door.

The service is a little slow at this location, but the ocean view is great. They have patio seating that looks out on the ocean as well with a fire pit.

This is my favorite Starbucks. I go here on the way to work. This great girl, Melissa? Is awesome. Gets my order right every time.

I am kickin' off the new year to write about my favorite location to visit on most weekends. Now... it's not what you think... I'm not about to rave over a Starbucks. But more to rave about the view this Starbucks location provides. I have to say, "This Starbucks is the best California location." One reason... the ocean view. This Starbucks location has the best ocean view, which allows you to see Catalina and the Santa Monica Bay. Best scenic location and this Starbucks allows you to chill. One look at that ocean and you'll forget about your problems. You can just relax and enjoy the beauty of the ocean.

This location also offers an ample, nice outdoor patio with a fire pit, so you sip your latte and decompress from the stress in your life. This Starbucks is a favorite for locals, motorcyclists, and car enthusiasts, who drive the coastal road of Palos Verdes Drive.

I recommend taking a drive to P.V. & stopping in for Starbucks coffee some time at this location. This is a great place to relax, have a nice cup of coffee, and enjoy the oceanview. You won't be disappointed by the magnificent view.

I never go to Starbucks because I don't drink coffee and there's something pretentious and annoying about spending so much money on a non-alcoholic beverage. :) But this Starbucks is an exception! There's a fire pit and tons of seating on their outdoor patio that has an ocean view. My friend Brian took me here and we had Chai tea and just sat outside enjoying the incredible view. It was so relaxing to just sit back and sip a warm drink on a chilly day and look out over the water. So even if you don't like Starbucks, give this one a try!

I had the privilege of going to this Starbucks today. The service was fast and the employees were nice. What I am really impressed with was the view. I can no t get over how beautiful the view from this Starbucks is. It is basically located on top of a bluff over looking houses below and the ocean from right to left as far as the eye can see with a fire pit. This is a location I will without question come back to and bring my girlfriend next time.

THE VIEW IS AMAZING for that 5-Stars.

On my quest to visit every Starbucks in Los Angeles (okay not really), I found this Starbucks many years ago. I don't like to talk about it since I'd rather have it remain a hidden gem. It's located on the edge of Hawthorne and Palos Verdes Drive. While the store itself is rather small, the large outdoor patio (which contains a fire pit) that overlooks the Pacific Ocean makes up for it. It really is a relaxing place to go to with friends, or to get some work done in a tranquil environment. The employees are great and craft good drinks, if that matters.

It's too bad that no other Starbucks can ever compare.

i have been to many Starbucks location. There is non like this. Its right above the ocean line. Completely unobstructed views of ocean and island (when its clear). Can be for a very romantic or a family oriented outing.
Usually you can find seats available but sometimes it gets so full that you ll have to waite a few minutes. At night and cold days there is a fire pit lit which give the place an additional charm. The coffee is as usually lousy but who care. With a location like this that's what you are there for.
