St. Lawrence Health Centre

Probably one of the worst medical clinics I have ever encountered. The nurses are incredible, but the one doctor that I had there is really bad. The most he does is prescribe medications - he doesn't care about one as a human being or follow correct diagnoses from other doctors not associated with St. Mike's
A huge part of the problem lies in the fact that bookings are controlled by the Manager of Receptionists at St Michael's Hospital who books patients for - St.Lawrence Health. I believe Lauren Massey is her name, and she acts like the Gestapo.
I intend to take them to court.

I've been coming to this place since 2012. There are several doctors and nurses at this centre. Usually the nurse sees your first before the doctor. Sometimes the doctor can be quite late.

There is a TV in their waiting room.

They are linked to St. Michael's Hospital.

There is a bloodwork clinic in there too and social workers covered by OHIP to help you with things like stress.

They also run drop-in clinics after-hours.

There is a Main Drug Mart conveniently beside them so you can get prescriptions if needed.

Starting late 2018, they started allowing email communications including booking an appointment by email!

As of Mar 2019, they have expanded into what was Appletree Medical Centre providing them with more rooms.

Extremely helpful. I'm very grateful. Everyone who works there is amazing. I don't know what I would do without them.

Awful...care &service quality is down spiraling.. unacceptable neglect to communicate with proper person when Dr's appointment is canceled. Although I have power of attorney for my dad's care I wasn't call: when ,for ? Reasons his regular Dr canceled the apt..she( Dr Ernst) didn't care to arrange for a replacement?on top of that after waiting unnecessary 1 h my dad was seen by a different Dr,the new prescription wasn't faxed properly ,Although it was crucial ,related to a serious medical condition...I had to call again and again putting up with their "robot like" waiting system:" 18...17..16.."....this clinic needs a wake up call
