My wife and I love to eat here. My wife orders her pizza with the regular sauce, and I like the smashed sauce, which is a little bit more spicy. I would also recommend that you try Caesar salad.

Love Smashing Tomato! My favorite pizza in town, very high quality food that is always delicious. Their lunch special is a great price, too. Every pizza I've had from here has been great, the crust is perfect and I appreciate how fresh and light is compared to other pizza restaurants. You must try their tomato basil soup, I think I've ordered it every time I've visited, it is amazing. Service is good, you order at the counter and it usually doesn't take too long for your food to be ready.

Had a lovely lunch combo from here. I got a 6 inch pizza with balsamic sausage pesto and some other things. It has really nice flavor and felt pretty light for pizza. I am paired it with a tomato basil soup. The soup comes with a lovely toasted and herbed slice of bread. I did not expect the soup to be so textured. It was thick and creamy with tomato and cheese in it. I didn't think that the cheese was necessary, but it was the best tomato soup I've ever had. I would return here and make it a go to lunch option. Lastly, I could've absolutely shared this and it would've been perfect for two.

The gluten free pizza is amazing! Not cheap, but worth every penny for the quality. Wish I'd taken a side by side of my husband's pizza (not gluten free) because they looked very similar. I haven't had a GF pizza like this since I visited NYC.

Pizza and soups were excellent. The service was fast and very friendly. The cashier was very helpful as well. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The pasta could use a little more sauce and was a little dry but the flavor was great. Overall a great experience.

Was on a very tight schedule, called to place to go order and was told it would be ready in 15 min. Showed up in abt 20 min, several people were also waiting, asked if it was ready, told not yet but almost, they asked if I wanted to go ahead and pay so I did.
They seemed to prioritize cooking pizza for customers dining in, as I stood there for 30 min watching pizza after pizza go into the oven and come out.
They clearly were not honest about the initial time or that it was close to being done when I arrived. There was little communication between staff and the people waiting.
Pizza itself was very good, customer service not so much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kathy C.Lexington-Fayette, United States01Apr 22, 2024
Well I had raved about the BEST salad in town , The Kentuscany!! I was so disappointed to find out ( from the nicest manager at BellaNotte , Kyle) the scrumptious turkey on the salad has been replaced by chicken. We just tried it and I cried! Well almost. Please please bring back the turkey. Further more, add it to the menus at your other restaurants. All that being said, I love this place. Tried their tomato basil and chicken soup and it's incredible as well. Pizza's are the best.

100% recommend choosing Smashing Tomato over some of the personal pizza National chain places around here. The pizza is so fresh, the salads are all great, and I love the bread and olive oil/balsamic you get to eat alongside your meal as well!
The service is always quick and the food always tastes great. If you haven't tried it, try the Pisto (garlic cream) as your base. You won't be disappointed!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nov 16, 2022
A friend wanted to go to Smashing Tomato for Pizza Week 2022. We ordered both specials. (See photo of descriptions.) Surprisingly good. I had an Affogato after lunch, free thanks to a YELP Reward.
