The major issue with this company is the pick up and drop off timing/reliability. You receive a text saying the driver is on his way, shows up well after 10pm - multiple hours after "on his way". When the driver did come to pick up, he was always on his phone and dragged the bag through the hallway to the lobby. The least they could do was wash the bag!!

I had a few loads of laundry done with Simply Laundry. I would not recommend giving this business your laundry.
I gave them a couple of wool sweaters and specified to treat these with care. I was given these sweaters back hanging up on a hanger. They were put on the hanger wet. This disfigured them to the point that the sweaters are ruined. Wool should not be hung up on hangers while wet.
They also put my washing in the dryer, despite the fact that it is not specified anywhere on their website that they use a dryer.
The worst part of this is that the customer care has not helped when I have reached out to them. I have emailed them several times and tried to call too (phone voicemail inbox is full). They have not made an effort to speak to me and solve the situation. I've been with simply laundry for (I believe) about 2 years now.
Due to my working hours they were the only option available to me.
Previously they would lose items, damage items, not show up on time and did not even have a phone number to contact them at. They also did not provide an address of operations. I had to track them down via DBA addresses etc. Suffice to say I was very displeased, but I had no other option.
For the past 6 months something has drastically changed. They have a phone number, they respond to emails in a reasonable timeframe and I have never again had clothing damaged or lost. (Wear and tear is fine as it happens). They went from a 2-Star to a 5-Star.

After doing much research and reading hundreds of reviews, I decided to trust Simply Laundry with my spring cleaning laundry. I literally washed every single piece of clothing, towels, and bedding (including blankets) that I have. Everything was hustle free, I got the items picked up at my door and delivered back in a timely manner by a very friendly staff.
I had a couple pieces that really needed some love and care, especially my black clothes, since I have 2 cats that shed quite a bit, but I thought "it's a professional company, everything will be immaculate when it comes back".
OH, HOW WRONG I WAS...
The moment I opened the first laundry bag, I was expecting to be hit in the face with clean laundry aroma. NOPEEEE!!
They smelled EXACTLY THE SAME as when they left my house, if not worse!
My black clothes? Still covered in pet hair.
My towels? Smelled like they were left wet in a corner for days.
My white shirts? Came back yellow.
I couldn't believe my eyes!!!! All my shirts and pants, full of wrinkles, still stained, still smelling like they were used!
That same day I sent them an email explaining the situation, it took them THREE DAYS to get back to me, in the meantime, I had to rewash EVERYTHING myself.
After spending ***$300*** with Simply Laundry, I had to spend even more money, washing my clothes myself, ruining my day and definitely ruining my experience with the company.
When they finally answered my email, they offered to wash my clothes again to make it right, but I had already washed everything, and would never trust another sock with this company, and I urge you to not trust them either.
After telling them that I washed everything myself, I didn't hear back from them. I gave more than a week for someone to contact me and maybe offer to AT LEAST give me some discount on my $300 bill.
I am extremely disappointed and I would never recommend Simply Laundry to anyone.

Booked online for a pickup - the driver had the wrong time and he came and left two hours before the time slot booked by me. I tracked him down when I received text messages from the company informing me that my driver had waited for me and left. I requested him to return, which he did, given that there was a system error at Simply Laundry.
The second time around, I booked a pickup, the company emailed me to confirm the pick up, and then no one came to pick up the clothes. It has been two days and I have emailed them and sent messages through the web portal frantically as I have to travel, but there has been no response from them.

I used Simply Laundry for the first time a few weeks ago after my own washing machine broke. Although they started off well and picked up my clothes promptly, it quickly went downhill. After 'washing', they returned my clothes over an hour later than they were suppose (no explanation or apology offered), I then noticed that most of my clothes were still really damp. I could tell they had been damp for a while as my clothes had that stale, moldy smell that clothes have when they've been wet for a long time. It was then a huge inconvenience for me to then try to find a laundrette right before I was meant to go on vacation.
Needless to say I promptly wrote an email explaining the situation and asking them not to charge my card. After almost 2 weeks of silence from Simply Laundry, I noticed a few days ago that they had sneakily charged my card.
After calling Simply Laundry several times, the man answering the phone is super sketchy and super evasive and won't give me any information about who to speak with to get my money back. He has assured me several times 'someone will call back', obviously no one ever does.
Simply Laundry is a terrible service and using them was a major mistake. They have absolutely no regard or consideration for their customers and couldn't care less that they completely ruined my order. They don't even have the decency to acknowledge my emails or phone calls.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T EVEN DARE TO USE THEIR SERVICES.
They are ALWAYS LATE for pick up. No courtesy call/text/email. We had numerous times that our laundry drop off got DELAYED and for 4 DAYS!
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have a phone number. You can call all day how much as you want but no one EVER picks up the phone! The only way you could reach them is by email which takes them days. It's barely impossible for you to get to them.
We had pillowcases serviced by them and they were all BURNT and ruined. Our towels and bed sheets were MISSING.
We paid extra for scent, fabric softener, and bleach for our white sheets. NEVER get any of those. They all came just the same as the regular laundry without add-ons. So don't bother paying extra because you will never gonna get any.
I specifically indicated under their "Special Instructions" feature to wash the fabrics separately according to colour. All of our white fabrics got mixed up with different colours. They don't read, don't pay attention and they NEVER CARE for your items.
Lastly, I ordered Wash & Fold. They charged me for Dry Cleaning. An average cost for us to do Wash & Fold runs between $71 to $80. They charged us for the same amount of laundry for a whooping $270 for Dry Cleaning service that I NEVER asked for! I spoke with their Customer Service person named SAMANTHA in regards to getting a refund. She tried to sell me this "OFFER" that she will give me 50% discount on our next order ($270 minus 50% OFF = $135. We never paid that much!) I refused because it is clear that we are being obligated to pay for an error they committed. I asked for a refund and they started ignoring and eventually stopped replying to my email.
We have 5 different spas that use their services and they always get us disappointed because there's always something that happens, always something wrong with their services.
We have been loyal clients of them for over a year and didn't mind much about the other issues but, the overcharge is the last straw.
If they can just let go of 5 spas that constantly use their services, and have been their loyal clients for over a year, then it reflects their business ethics. Update 2: On Dec 12th I finally received the rest of my items back. (Plus another pair of boots belonging to someone else). One of my pair of shoes were damaged and ruined. I have received these things back because I sent a Demand letter created by the Pro Bono Ontario, which stated that if I did not have my items back by Dec 14th I would proceed by taking the company to small claims court. I am still not anywhere near happy with the services provided by this company however I am happy to finally have the rest of my items back.

In my freaking out stage I booked Simply Laundry to pick up all my nice work clothing and dresses that could not be put through the washer and dryer on super high heats safely. I do not have a washer and dryer in my apartment or have a car so the pickup and delivery service was appealing to me, especially because I was so overwhelmed at the time. Communication with the company was difficult right away. Scheduling and rescheduling pick up and drop off times were done with little communication with me. If my items were not going to be dropped off in the time I chose no one contacted me to let me know they would not arrive and the rescheduling time was done at the last minute and they would just send an e-mail that if you did not look really closely at you wouldn't know the times were changes as they did not indicate anywhere that was the case. This was also done without asking me if the time was okay. When I responded that I would not be home at that time, no one responded and the driver called me to ask why I wasn't home.
Once most of my items were cleaned I received 3 invoices and my credit card was charged over $3,000 without communication to me about the amount being so high. The 3 invoices were incorrect, and showing the same items multiple times.
I was charged for 184 items and had only received back 141. 2 hats and 1 scarf was ruined. One dress the black has bled into the white making it look horrible (and was most certainly not that way when I gave it to them). Another dress the colour has been completely faded from a dark navy blue to a very used looking blue colour. Two pillows that were returned to me were still damp and remained that way for two weeks afterwards. I am also missing a pillow cover for one of those pillows.
Since I was charged on September 6th, the company has not responded to any of my e-mails or phone calls. They have not answered their phone even once during my whole interaction with them.
The company still has multiple pairs of my shoes, sneakers, and boots and two backpacks and I have no idea if and when these items will be returned to me.
My advice is to NEVER use this company. They are not accountable in any way for the services they provide.
Update: While I have finally been in contact with the company, and have made an official claim with the Ontario Governments customer protect department, I am still waiting for this issue to be resolved almost 3 months later. The company still has some of my belongings and has refused to give me any sort of discount for taking so long to clean them in the first place (let alone all of the other problems I have had with the company). - Danny D.Silver Spring, United States823Jun 9, 2017
This service lost my clothes. They haven't communicated well. It's been over a week. And I now have the driver offering to pay me off on the side so that I'll stop calling to ask for it. Use this service at your own risk. There are much better options.

Came at the wrong time twice (first, hours earlier than booked - so I wasn't there and then much later then booked with no explanation).
They don't record what they take from you, so you have no way of knowing what they will charge you. I sent 2 business jackets and 1 winter coat. They charged for 2 winter coats and 1 business jacket. I found out after the items had been returned and got the invoice via email. When questioned they did not offer to make the correction. They did offer a $5 credit.
