River Rock Pools

I would give them zero if that was an option. They didn't even ask us for our final payment it was so bad.

We contracted with River Rock late 2016. During our entire pool build we had issues. Crews with shotty workmanship, workers drinking on the job and leaving beer cans all over our property, multiple visits to fix bad grout job or loose rock over the waterfall because they didn't get it right on the first try and the WORST was the constant set appointments that were no call no show. We have been trying to get Chuck and Mike at River Rock to fix the issues we still have for months. Finally filed with the BBB and will have to seek legal action if they do not fix our broken lights (been 4 months outside the pool water with live current), all our loose flagstone that will cause a major accident if someone steps on it, our remote, which was not cheap, hasn't been working in the longest time and the deck color was either put on incorrectly or the product is defective because it is all pulling up. I suggest anyone look at all their reviews before electing to use this company.

Although, I was foolish enough to actually like Chuck and Mike at River Rock Pools, they are very personable, they did not live up to their promises. My job was a higher end job than I think they were used to as the quality of the craftsman they hired were extremely sub par, They started in May of 2014 and my pool was not plastered until January of 2015, I finally had to terminate them in April of 2015 since my pool was still not complete, We've had leaks since it first was filled up. We've spent thousands of dollars trying to find and fix leaks come to find out the ledge stone was not waterproofed behind or adhered properly and after less than a year started falling off in HUGE chunks, we have had 12 massive cracks in our gunite, and I know that they are aware of this because the gunite company told me they called them but NO ONE FROM river rocks has called me. So I am currently sitting with an empty pool fighting with the gunite company to repair the gunite and replaster my pool. A situation that was most likely caused by either the long time it took to ever get water into it to begin with or the fact that the waterline ledge stone tile was not waterproofed behind when it was installed. Either way they left this poor home owner in a jam with an unfinished, jacked up pool.
