If you have limited time in Squamish don't waste your time guessing which trails are good, getting lost, or wasting time on trails above your skill level. These are some of the best trails around and James will put you on the goods!

Best mountain bike ride of my life. James is phenomenal, easy to communicate with and a pleasure to ride with. Upon meeting at a local coffee shop he drove us to a trailhead and along the way gushed my skill level and what I wanted to ride. He then masterfully strung together an exceptional ride with just the right amount of climbing and descending. Along the ride he provided some coaching. James made my trip to BC simply put. Will absolutely ride with him next time I am in town.

We had the most amazing time riding the Squamish trails with our guide, James.
This was my 4th time riding/racing in Squamish and this was by far the most enjoyable, because we got to see it from the local's perspective and ride the trails that we wanted in a logical order without stopping to look at maps. James gave us plenty of warning about what was coming up next so I could prepare for a drop or a technical section instead of being surprised. MUCH more fun being guided when you are riding something for the first time that is at my technical ability limits. James also rents bikes and we took this option the second day and it worked out great. He also fed us a yummy lunch on a full day tour/ride. Can't WAIT to ride Squamish again, and will definitely be calling James for guiding.

If you're going to Squamish to do some riding, do yourself a favor and hire James. It was awesome to not have my head stuck in a map. I didn't need to think about which trails, he chose the trails perfect for my abilities. I had a great experience with James of Ride BC from the start. He responded to my questions via e-mail promptly. Booking a lesson through his site was a breeze and he really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. James just isn't a mountain biker, he's an educated Geologist who gives back to his community by building more trails for everyones enjoyment. Since it was just me taking the lesson (single gal with her dog), he zoomed on by my hotel lobby, snatched me up with his awesome truck and off to the trails we went! I'm new to the sport so you can really be on any level to go with him. Since I was new to the area, he also gave me perfect suggestions on where to grab a bite to eat and have a brew. He greeted me with a smile and was helpful, kind, and flexible with our time. I'm looking forward to exploring Squamish again and having James of Ride BC show me around. I'm so glad I found him!
