Gord and I had supper Friday night at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club. It is apparently the oldest existing golf course in North America ... it opened in 1875.

Gord had their charcuterie and I had their prime rib. He would get his again and mine was the best prime rib I've had in a while.

We were seated next to the window overlooking the water ... it was lovely to watch the sun set.

The hidden, affordable gem of a restaurant in picture-perfect Niagara-on-the-lake that looks right out on the Niagara river. Have a lobster bisque while taking in the country club ambiance of the place.

Heard about it. Had dinner Saturday night and was impressed. Ambience, food, staff were all good. Portions were large. Mussel's were great, As well as the fish and chips.

Our favorite place for breakfast in the area! Super friendly service with great, affordable food.

We've came here twice on our most recent visit to NOTL, and absolutely loved both experiences.

Coffee is solid and gets the job done. Our server was very attentive and made sure we always had a hot, fresh cup whenever he passed by.

Don't sleep on the Eggs Benedict! Cooked to perfection with fluffy poached eggs, creamy hollandaise and smoked salmon with just the right salty bite. The avocado toast was delicious too! It was topped with a guacamole-style spread rather than fresh mashed avocado, but the flavor was top notch. We shared both dishes and thoroughly enjoyed each. The home fries are perfect, super crispy and served fresh every time!

The service was excellent too. Attentive and friendly, and they let us enjoy our breakfast and coffees without feeling rushed. Beautiful views of the water when sitting by the window, which is always a bonus!

Great view of Lake Ontario. Order Fish and Chips. And Pizza. Both order was super good. Great place to just relax.

Loved this place! We sat on the patio to have drinks before walking around. View of the lake was beautiful!! Drinks were awesome! Our server was knowledgeable and very nice. I would come here again.

Best breakfast place in town by a mile. Bonus...the restaurant overlooks Lake Ontario so the views are amazing. Dinner on the patio during warmer months is also recommended. Food is pretty good, but also very basic. But it's worth enjoying the lake breeze while overlooking Fort Niagara, across the lake in New York.

It's a hard split between 3 and 4 stars - the food is definitely 3 stars, the view is 5, the service is 4 to 5, so we will just call it 4.

Overall, a great place to come for a drink, and enjoy the view. I've tried to enjoy the food, on multiple occasions, and it wasn't much, but it wasn't terrible either - again, you pay for the view.

Will repeat, as I've already done, numerous times.

The views from outdoir patio are amazing! You cant say that enough times. We ordered the wings and seafood sliders.the sliders were good. The wings were ok. Topped it off w/ sangria.
You come here for the sunset on the lake.
Again, the views are awesome!
