Phoenicia Mediterranean Deli

I had a great experience with this new restaurant. I ordered carry out for iftaar and the food was prepared on time. The menu has a lot of options. I definitely recommend trying the spinach & cheese pies as an appetizer. I ordered the Sujuk sandwich which is spicy sausage made of a mix of ground beef and lamb, it was delicious! The restaurant is small with limited seating but very clean. The staff were also very polite. I will certainly be back!

I am from NYC and travel all over the USA for work. I try and find a Lebanese restaurant in each city I travel. Phoenicia is up there with the best of them. I tried the meat appetizer sampler and was blown away by he wonderful flavors. Sam, the owner was also very nice and gave me all the details of the menu I needed. The cheese pie was fabulous. I will be back!

Food and in-restaurant service were great for a casual deli that seems to specialize in takeaway. The tabbouleh was pleasantly sharp with fresh parsley. The gyro was tasty and the hummus was pleasant. The spinach and cheese pie was amazing!

We had no idea this restaurant was here in Ballwin and found it on Yelp. The owner was very kind and took the time to explain some of the dishes we were unfamiliar with. In the end we each had the gyro and found it to be delicious. The pita bread was grilled and they put Mediterranean pickles on it as well as the regular gyro toppings. The Mediterranean pickles reminded me of gardiniera. It was quite good and we will definitely be getting them again. We also ordered the 3" spinach and cheese pies. They were made to order and flavorful!
