The bestie and I were in the area running an errand but I was overdue for a manicure after leaving shellac on for over a month. It was peeling, cracking, and ripping my nails so it just happened to be perfect timing to stop by and give this place a try! I had always known about it, but never really trekked this way...

I didn't post photos of the interior because it's exactly what's posted on their website. They are by reservation only, unless you call ahead to find out how busy they are and their availability/schedule for the day. I literally called while standing right outside their salon, lol. It had a sign saying please call when you arrive if you've made a reservation, so I almost left...but decided to give them a call, and they squeezed me in.

The front desk was super friendly and kind! Asked if I had any questions, explained the service, and guess what guys?? She didn't rush me when I wanted to pick out a nail polish color! She actually tried several different colors on me before I chose one. Also, I saw that they carry J.Hannah nail polish!! I have yet to see any Houston salon carry this brand until now!! Yay!

Thanh did my nails and did a great job! She took her time and even cleaned around the edges with a paintbrush.

I appreciated that their salon actually smells good. No smell of acetone or chemicals here. It was a calming and relaxing experience and I definitely want to come back! One star deduction is for the $15 charge to remove shellac from an outside salon. So ladies, if you're like me, and you've never tried Paloma's, make sure you go with no polish, clean nails so you don't get stuck with this charge on your first visit. The reason is that they use a particular, special solution that isn't harmful or filled with chemicals and it's exclusive to their salon (which is understandable, but $15 is a bit high) so just a heads up!

I'd love to come back and get a pedicure sometime too! Those chairs look comfortable...

Had a lovely experience. The lady at the front desk was so kind - she kept checking in on me throughout my mani/pedi to make sure I was fine ( it was my first time!). I loved how my nails came out and my eyebrows as well. It is true, their wax is amazing!

I haven't taken the time to take care of myself like I used to. You know, allowing yourself to be pampered is ok. Well I seemed to have forgotten that. Or pushed that idea or thought deep into the recesses of my mind.

Well, due to my grandmother's death I found myself here. And it ended up being a wonderful experience. I met some fantastic customers while waiting. I didn't have an appointment but I didn't have to wait too long either.

I chose this place because I am concerned about what going in and on my body so it was and intentional search. If you're not familiar they are specialist in non toxic services.

A shellac mani pedi will run you about 100 bucks. You can check out their services online. But I was well taken care of. From the hot tea to the massage. I was not rushed. Nor was their process rushed. You know how some salons seem to be in a hurry to get to the next walk in or client or whatever?

It was like I could have been there all day. They were so kind. I'll be back again.

I had been here once before and had no complaints, but this last time was pretty disappointing. I never expect a manicure to last a full week or more, even when they advertise it as a 7-day polish, but I really hoped for more than 24 hours.

The manicure itself, while very pricey at $48, was amazing, and the ginger lemon tea is delicious!! Everything about this place is relaxing. However, once we got around to the polish, she had some issues with the bottle, so the first coat was with the bottle I picked, and the second coat was with a new bottle from the back. I should have asked her to remove the first coat if it was causing issues, but I didn't even think of it.

So I get the manicure Thursday at lunch, have a dinner party that night, and by Friday morning the very tips of four nails are starting to chip just a little. That made me sad, but it wasn't very noticeable, so I let it go. However, by Saturday it was almost every nail and further up, and now it's Monday and the manicure is completely shot.

I'd be a little more understanding if I'd been rough on my hands, but I did absolutely nothing this weekend, and certainly nothing that would completely destroy a manicure in 3 days. I emailed about a discounted polish change since it was such a new manicure, but never heard back. I really don't want to spend another $20 just to have it chip in a day again, so I'll go elsewhere next time, or stick to polishing them myself. At least then I get a good 4-5 days out of it.

Just 3 days into my 7-day Vinylux manicure that cost me $48. :(

I was really excited to find this place in Houston during my visit. The salon is chic and the staff are friendly. The main reason is that they take care to use properly sterilized/sanitized stuff on you so I wasn't worried about catching something from someone previously. The pedicure experience was lovely and my toe nails were painted with attention and they were filed evenly and they were soooo smooth afterwards. The massage was nice and perfect pressure. The tech was friendly. I wish they had more colors. They advertise that they're a chemical reduced salon. It doesn't smell like acrylic nails! I also wish the chairs weren't so scratchy. Otherwise they were comfy. It's a pretty salon! My pedicure lasted for 4 weeks! I highly recommend Fibi and getting Deborah Lippmann "I'm too sexy" which is this pretty nude.

I got the standard pedicure with Fibi. On my toes: Deborah Lippmann "I'm too sexy"

I booked a pedicure (vegan) and was charged for the pedicure ($75) plus a surprise gel polish removal fee ($15). Most pedicures include this! I pay half this in NYC and the service is way better. The nail technicians talked loudly the entire time, not relaxing at all. I also wanted a pink/red, they had no such color so I ended up getting a completely different color (which I booked a polish change for the following day). So if you are looking for an expensive, limited color option, completely non relaxing pedicure. This is your spot.
I would recommend Elysian Nail Spa. I had my color changed and had hundreds (literally) of gel polish colors from the same brand to choose from. They did a great job! My advice, go to Elysian!

I really loved this nail salon. They don't use harsh chemicals so there isn't a strong smell when you enter. The chairs are not the typical massing chairs and instead are cozy armchairs. They offer you water, espresso, or wine to drink. The prices are only a little higher than for similar services, but I did not feel rushed and the products used are a better quality. The booking process was really easy so we didn't have to wait when we arrived. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

I've been to Paloma a few times now and always have stellar service. The receptionist is always super sweet and attentive. The techs I've had are always amazing and do a professional job, Laura my personal favorite.

I enjoy this place so much not only for the 5 free polishes but the fact that I can zen out here. It's the only nail salon where I feel like I can relax without hearing Tv and chatter in the background and the horrid smell of alcohol.

Love this place and would recommend to anyone. Hooked right here!
