Overseas Fabrics

I am from Seattle and was in search of some quality wool for cushions. Overseas Fabrics did not disappoint. Not only did I find some marvelous melton wool for the cushions, I bought some lovely 60" apparel linen. This is a great store, very tidy and easy to navigate, with an impressive selection of quality fabrics at fair prices. I'm glad I made the trip north!

I was heading to Harrison Hot Springs for a short vacation and decided to search for some fabric stores in or near the area. Once I saw the pictures of the store on their website I KNEW i had to go.

I was happily overwhelmed at first then just a tiny bit disappointed later. Due to the volume of fabrics they carry, I was hoping to find more Rayon fabric that then one small shelf.

When I'm in the area again, I will definitely stop in. The staff were efficient and friendly!

My friends and I made a trip specifically to Abbotsford for this shop. And it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly, the selection was amazing and you just couldn't beat the prices. We had so much fun just walking around and looking and touching all the fabrics. The owner of the shop was so pleasant to talk to and you could tell she enjoyed what she did.

This will definitely be a regular haunt for us no doubt.

My wife restores Barbie dolls and makes one-of-a-kind outfits for them.

We found all sorts of wonderful fabrics here! The staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgable. We will definitely be back. (Look out remnants bins!)

During these current wacky times of COVID, I was so PLEASED to see that Overseas was Open via WEB/Email for shopping... What I was even more impressed with was the fact that they are taking COVID-19 very seriously, as I am living with a partner that is currently dealing with lung and pancreatic cancer and has no immune system thanks to treatments.. so I have to be very careful where I go what I do etc. and of late most businesses have taken a half hearted approach to dealing with Covid by either saying they're doing things but they're not or simply operating as normal.. OVERSEAS FABRICS have taken it multiple steps farther and better, you can place your order online have it shipped via post, or contactless kerbside pick up etc. They are currently updating their website constantly to show you what is in stock and how much is left in stock as well, the photos provided for colour and pattern are incredible and very high resolution.
Each and every employee and family member that works there are some of the most wonderful warm caring hard-working people you'll ever meet any of my friends that ask where I pick up fabric etc, or any time someone needs something sewing related I SEND them in the direction of overseas fabrics as it never fails to impress and they always have exactly what you need or want and if they don't for whatever reason I don't think I have ever waited more than three or four days and that item or items are immediately available for pick up...

We need more business like OVERSEAS FABRIC, with such warmth and TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. It is an extreme pleasure every time I shop with them, either in person or curb side pickup !!! KEEP UP THE STELLAR WORK, STAY SAFE and HEALTHY !

Visiting from Seattle, we drove out of our way to come to this place. I was needing over 50 yards of beautiful chiffon to decorate for my daughter's wedding. This store is wonderful! The customer service was excellent. The prices are spectaculargg. And they had the specific colors I am needing. The prices were so good I was able to purchase another 20 yards of an accent color. This is event decorating happiness!!

I like this store. The people are friendly and the choice is pretty good. I have only been twice, just discovered the place, and I do not live close. Both times I have purchased enough fabric for my need but when I got home the fabric was damaged/marked. The price was good enough that I would have bought anyway but I would have bought more yardage so that I had enough to complete the project without returning to the store.
In one case I had to give the quilt with the marks because I did not have time to do anything else. Could you please mark damaged stock, I promise I will still buy.

Hidden Gem: We were very fortunate to be referred here. We needed to have some furniture redone and were told to go here. It was a great lead and they have a very good selection. Both the son & dad were nice and helpful. For that reason alone I'd go back. We found excellent upholstery fabric and are happy with it. Would definitely go back and/or recommend them - Thanks Overseas Fabrics!
