Orleans Bowling & Striker's Billiards

Solid 3.5 stars.

I have not played bowling in years and it was fun...kinda...my four year old HATED it, and cried most of the time, so the hubby and I made the best of it and played for an hour in between her tears. We ordered her fries to try and make her happy, which took 20 minutes..YIKES! If you are looking to grab a bite to eat while bowling, make sure you order your food at the beginning. Bonus is the food is brought to you, so you can bowl while you wait.

Fries were standard, and thick cut and is salted with some type of fry salt. It did the trick while hungry.

There are a couple arcade games on site, but not many. I do not know the correct bowling terms, but sections are shared between two "parties," so you are sharing the balls and seating area with another group, if the lane next to you gets booked. Big star down for that.

Front desk is friendly. Bowling shoes are comfy. Not sure if it is wheelchair/stroller accessible though. I did not see a ramp to get down the lanes, so I had to carry my stroller down a couple steps.

They have rock and bowl here too, so I'd like to come back and check that out.

The rude b with the purple hair who accused my black friends of bringing in a bottle of tequila and wouldn't back down even after we said it wasn't ours. she had security search our groups bag. nobody else just us.

Terrible service, guy at front desk gave attitude and was rude. He was trying to tell me that I have a healthcare.. like if I had one I think I would know.

I have been here numerous times for children's birthday parties and even for some work events. For the birthday parties the staff for organized have a room ready for us and helpful with the questions that we had. The staff was friendly and rooms were clean. For work events we were 30 + people. we had a little wait for shoes but that was to be expected with so many people. Our lanes were ready for us and the bartender was quick with our orders.

Overall I've never had a bad experience here whether it's kids parties or staff events. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting a fun night out with kids or even with a bunch of adult friends and some adult beverages.

Have been going there for many years off and on to play pool. Unfortunately, in the last year the service is really poor, staff is extremely rude and unhelpful (and that's most of the staff). Constantly leave the bar to go chat in the kitchen so you wait for service and when they are there seems like you're disturbing them. The place recently had some renovations done but it still very dirty.
