Oh Hey Style

Meris is a consummate professional artist. I had limitations with time and money and she respected them and gave me an incredible style and colour. She listens and hears. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for hair magic.

A good friend of mine always has amazing hair. So naturally when I wanted a change, I asked her who was responsible for her lovely mane. She told me Jenny-Lynn at Oh Hey Style!

I booked an appointment, and had to cancel because I was sick as sick could be. It was no problem to reboot just over a week later.

During my appointment, she was careful to listen to what I wanted and made suggestions that would be more flattering for my face shape and what I was wanting to achieve. I have not once in my adult life been happy with a hair cut and colour on the first shot. Literally never. I am picky as all heck too. I am so excited for my next appointment that I am planning on booking for in a few weeks.

She asked me what music I wanted to listen to, and she put it on for me! While my hair was processing, we watched jimmy fallon clips on youtube. It was such a great experience.

Also worth mention are how reasonable her prices are too.

Best in Vancouver. Best I have ever come across. Henry the pug-chi also made the experience top notch.

The ONLY down side of the experience (and I am very nit-picky - just read some of my other yelp reviews and you will agree) is that it isn't located in the best part of town, but you are not in danger at all and I find it to be kind of charming. Gives a personal feel rather than a sterilized corporate hospital hair salon.

Back for another hairdo/beard make over. What do ya think? I agree looks great. Shoulda seen me when I walked in. Great atmosphere, personal care by stylist Jenny, refreshments offered. And best of all, she did my hair and beard as I had requested.

My wife also hopped in the chair for a cut, after the cleanup in the shampoo sink/chair. She looks fantastic. We also like the easy appointment made on social media. Yes there are some seniors who do social media. This is about our 9th or 10th time Jenny has done our hair. I hate shopping for hair stylists, hopefully Jenny will be here for a long time. Also this location is a lot easier to get to than the previous shop on water st.

Jenny Lynn has been doing my hair for 5 years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. She's intuitive and creative, tidying up my head when I just want a refresh, and completely changing it when I'm ready for a dramatic new look. I 100% recommend trying out her magic.

Jenny is lovely, experienced, creative, AND just gave me one of my favourite hair cuts!

Jenny has been my stylist for over half a decade. No matter where she is I will follow. She is both a confident and creative hair expert. She knows what will work best for me even when I am vague as hell; I trust her 100%.

Jenny is just the loveliest! I found her on instagram, and took a look through the photos of the haircuts she has done and thought I'd give her a try! I No regrets, at all. Jenny is so talented. I went in wanting a few inches off, and some more volume, layers. I had a few photos of what I was thinking, and she made some great suggestions to tailor it to my face shape and hair texture. I love my new hair cut. She is confident, experienced, creative. She listened to my needs - I'm really low maintenance with my hair - and cut it beautifully. I really appreciated her input, and felt I was really good hands.
