Yeah, it's pretty sad. This was a great place. I had my studio downstairs. The rent went up and Artists live on a limited budget so there you go. We did all kinds of fundraising and yada yada yada. It was over. Wish some of us could put something like this back together, right there in downtown.
Many have tried, but the energy just wasn't there. Artists if you're reading this, let's kick this thing into gear.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 25, 2019Previous reviewhttp://www.northbankartistsgallery.com
Yes folks sorry to say North Bank Artists Gallery is permanently closed. It was a good run. If you were looking for more artwork check out: Art on the Boulevard, Aurora Gallery, the CAVE the Loft, and several more right in the downtown VANWA district.May 23, 2014Previous reviewNorth Bank is a true Artist's Gallery. Founded 2002, it boosts nearly 30 members.
Not to be missed on First Friday's Art Walk.
This gallery might be the most contemporary on this side of the river. Work often challenges our notions and definitions of art. (this is a good thing)
Come to downtown, start at the Heart of the newly established Vancouver Arts District. Walk around, see (and perhaps buy) the work in the many galleries. Then, go wander over to a great meal and drink at any of over 40 restaurants and bars in the downtown area.
The gallery has regular posted hours for visits during the week and Saturday. - James C.Portland, United States05Feb 21, 2019
I decided to travel from the Gresham area and check out this gallery. It no longer exists in this location. Not sure if they moved or closed, but the current tennants politely informed me that it hadn't been there for quite some time.
