Nicholas Creamery

This has got to be the freshest, most delicious, and best ice cream in Monmouth county! I can't believe I just found out about this place!!

Go here! I don't know what else to tell you. This has to be the richest and most most delicious ice cream I've ever had. And I've had a lot! The little shop is so cute also, beautifully decorated!! I also found out they have four or five locations sprinkled about Central Jersey. I think most of them are in Monmouth county. There is also a Nicholas restaurant in Redbank, which is excellent. It's the same owner. However, this ice cream chain could really become something big, I think!

Every ice cream I tasted that night was incredible, incredibly rich, velvety, and delicious! None of them had even a hint of becoming style or old. It wouldn't surprise me if they threw ice cream away that wasn't fresh after a few days. I would make it an effort to go to one of these creamers near you. There are several of them. For example, there is also one in Middletown.

Highly recommended for the best ice cream I'm sure you've ever had make sure you stop it!

I discovered Nicholas Creamery many years ago in Atlantic Highlands and was blown away by their exceptional quality and unique flavors (lemon blueberry remains my favorite). Once they opened up at Tinton Falls, I knew I'm going to be coming here a lot. This location can get very crowded (and not just on summers) but the line moves quickly. It's cash only but they have an ATM on site.

My friends and I visited Nicholas Creamery on a Saturday evening, and it was an excellent experience. Since we had a larger group, we got a couple of their 6-scoop flights to share, and those were perfect. If you're indecisive, the flights are the way to go so that you can basically try all of their flavors. It was fun being "food critics" as we tasted our way through the flavors. My group was impressed with their Mint, Chocolate Covered Banana, Brown Sugar Cookie Dough, and Malt Ball varieties, but my favorite was the Bourbon Coffee. The staff was very sweet and patient with us as we stared at all of the flavors for way too long. The pricing of the flight was very reasonable. I am all about every type of flight I can get my hands on, and I highly recommend the ice cream flights here at Nicholas Creamery!

Yes YES AND YES!

I'm sad that this is 1hr away from me but I'll drive to it with no problem. Goodness gracious, their ice cream is something else, UNIQUE! It's fresh, creamy, tasty and makes you feel like you're in heaven, which I hope that one day heaven does have an ice shop so I can eat ice cream non stop. I usually go to Fair Haven and Atlantic Highlands but I was thrilled when I was in the Tinton Falls area and found one. I brought my people with me because I had to share my ice cream wisdom and they loved it!

Always worth the drive :) (and the calories)

First time here! They had an array of flavors and I had trouble deciding. I went with the Bourbon Coffee and it was extremely smooth and the cone was nice and warm, which was a nice pairing with the cold ice cream! The venue is adorable and feels like you're in an old time creamery. It was towards the end of the night, but the servers weren't very personable. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt as it was close to closing. Great place to visit on vacation!

Delicious ice cream! I love that they have gluten free and vegan options marked by flavor. They also note their toppings (best hot fudge ever). We love going here and checking out the new flavors. The store is small but cute and the servers are all friendly. I highly recommend their ice cream.

Absolutely love it here! Come a little hungry though because their ice cream is very creamy! Definitely a little heavier than your average ice cream. Tried their Bourbon coffee flavor last night and WOW. It was amazing. A must try. They always have fun special flavors and do collabs with local businesses for fun limited time flavors. Also- it is cash only so just keep a mental note of that :)

Good ice cream. The friendly servers are patient with my often indecisive troops and happily give out free tastes. The Middletown store seemed to have fewer choices than Tinton Falls, but the munchkins managed to find spoonfuls of happiness. Despite the hole in my wallet, I know we'll be back.
