This gym is honestly the best mma gym you will find. The workouts are so different and a different part of my body is sore everytime!

i love the kickboxing classes, i go there just for these. i feel great after every class, they challenge your body and that yields results, you wont get these results just lifting weights and running and doing the same boring work out!

Tyler and Mike teach kickboxing and they are great! i look forward to every class because i know how great i feel after them.

The staff is so nice and they know MMA. I am pretty sure a UFC fighter works out here as well. That should be enough reason to come and check them out!

Visually the place is very nice and I liked many of the instructors (two of them no longer work there). Not a fan of the wealthy owner. I used to be a member of this gym but had to discontinue due to a back injury. They had froze my account and said all I needed was a doctors note. A few months later they billed my credit card again without notifying me. It reminded me I was to get a note from my doctor. I showed up two days after the charge and gave them a doctors note and explained that I had completely forgotten to get it for them until I was reminded from seeing the charge on my credit card statement. Unfortunately had to deal with a lot of "bumps in the road" in those few months so my memory wasn't "up to par". Anyway, I asked him if he could kindly refund that last charge since I had to discontinue due to a medical issue and provided him with a doctors note. He REFUSED saying since he got the doctors note after the charge he will not refund it. This was since December 2015. Well fast forward...back is better and decided to gradually get back to my workout and modify when I need to. I go to Shunato in Baldwin (which I'm loving). Also, my two children and husband signed up as well. So Mr. Seppy (owner of Mutant) I hope that $100 was worth losing $400 a month for a whole year membership. Great business move

Great facility and coaching staff. Full size cage, tons of mat space and heavy bags. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great place to learn MMA in Long Island.
