Mold on the windows and in the heater vents, pee stains on the mattress. No star rating. My loved one is always left in pee and her bed. Her mattress was soaked with urine. They have no compassion. They call her bad. Health is declining. My Grandma is scared and confused she has never been in a nursing home and suffers from dementia. The whole facilty smells like urine and so does her room. All the carpet needs to be ripped out. Shame on the facility this place needs to be closed down and shame on the Guardian who keeps her there.

Only giving one star because you have to give something....

Rehabilitation is just as much mental as it is physical and the treatment of patients in this place will cause anyone to lose hope and challenge their resilience. There is an overall lack of urgency and ingenuine concern for the well-being of patients.

After arriving and getting her situated, I asked her nurse how long it would be until my sister received her next dose of meds, she told me she didn't know! Her actual nurse! Not, I'll check, let me look at her file, nothing. Flat out, I don't know. With no plan of follow up or resolve to question about her meds! I asked her if she had ever suffered brain trauma she says......."what does that have to do with anything?"

My sister came to this facility for sub-acute rehab after suffering a massive stroke and having brain surgery. Meaning she was a major fall risk and her bed, that we reported, was never fixed! AND she literally fell out of this bed! Hit her head, was rushed back to ER and is now back in Neuro ICU! This was within one week of her being there! My sister was left lying on the floor until my mom and I finally reached someone on the phone to get to her room!

This post would be extremely long if I detailed the disregard of actual care. Multiple times, my sister was left unattended for well over an hour after pressing her call light. I was never able to get a clear plan/ schedule of her therapy. The nurses do not communicate well. At all. They had a very passive lack of empathy during my conversations so I could only imagine how they disregard the patients. A different time, I was literally told "that it was shift change so there was nothing that could be done after my sister call light had been on over an hour!

Bottom line, do not send your love ones here. Especially if the plan is for actual rehabilitation. There is no compassion. Nothing is genuine about this place.

This place is horrible. The often neglected my father is his care and needs and I witnessed poor care of their patients. Items were stolen from my fathers room and I wouldn't recommend putting anyone you love there. There was a guy who worked there that was kind and caring who shared how bad it is to work there and confirmed my feelings of the mistreatment.

Just as an FYI - MediLodge of Taylor has been rebranded as The Lodge of Taylor. After reading these wretched reviews I understand why. Sadly, based on my husband's experience there in August, I don't think anything internally has changed for the better.

DON'T NOT GO HERE!!! this is by far the worse place I've ever dealt
with.My dad was there to get physical therapy after being in the hospital for a month . They were to get him up and walking ,but all they did was work on this upper body.the nurse's would take their time getting to him or never show up when he put his call light on. And then there the useless social worker that is never there and had my dad calling the insurance to get his own approval to stay longer after only being there 3 weeks.
So what sent me over the edge was my dad call me in the morning to come pick because they where releasing him no heads up nothing.

My dad was in this place last year .. He rang and called for help for over 4 hours NO one came the lady across the Hall told me the next day she felt so bad for him .

He could not get out of bed himself .. and ended up messing the bed because he could NOT get any help at all .

And the food is always stone cold

I would give this place zero stars if I could !!!!!!!!!!

      Do NOT send anyone here!
They neglect the residents and their nurses!
The unit coordinators sit back in their rooms having "meetings" all day.

This whole place needs to be revamped.
Keep the CNAs, nurses, and director or nursing, but everyone else needs to be fired.
This is a leadership and internally structure issue that will never be fixed unless this is done.

Turnover rate is high, and they refuse to remedy the causes for this.
They don't have a wound nurse, don't have an admissions nurse because "costs too much."
So, the floor nurses have to do these jobs as well, which in turn, takes time away from the residents and neglects them.

Nurses, you have a good chance at losing your license working at this place. The state needs to come in. This place will be fined/shut down!

There's two medi lodge buildings on north line rd ..I had an interview yesterday and for a resident aide they are only starting out at 11.57 plus two extra dollars for the governor's whitmer Covid pay bonus..for the amount of work you'll have to do this job isn't worth the 11 dollars an hour...they want you to work around Covid seniors ..plus groom, change catheters, lift, showering & feeding & just overall want you to work for slave pay ..hell you can make way more than that at a fast food job or an way easier job & get paid more for less the work..I'm working smarter not harder..not going to break my back for such small wage pay. They should be ashamed of themselves...then on indeed it states part time or full time and all shifts available but once you get to the interview it's full time only & only had openings on afternoons & midnights of course so working 5 to 6 days a week on night shift ? Lol no thank you ..no wonder no one wants to work here on top of the drama ..other nursing homes are paying way more .

2stars only because the cna's & the nurses are great. The only thing going for this place is it looks good & rooms are real nice. They are always so short staffed that the nurses or aids can't do their job properly. This place needs proper management because I don't think their is any now. I have never been lied to as much as i have this week & by the DON's. Maybe if they got rid of a lot of people & all new management it might get better but right now I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone& that's sad because my mother lives there but we're up there enough we try to help out when we can
