Alright, mate, let me spin ya a yarn about the grand adventure to the world's biggest Maccas, nestled right in the heart of Orlando, Florida. So, me and the gang were all hyped up, thinking we were about to waltz into the Maccas of our wildest dreams. But blow me down, it was a bit of a letdown size-wise when we rocked up. Didn't exactly knock our socks off, you know?
But hey, it's not all about size, is it? Upstairs, they've got this massive arcade that's a ripper of a time, plus a playroom for the ankle biters. Now, here's where it gets interesting. They're serving up pasta and pizza at Maccas! Fair dinkum, you heard me right. When in Rome--or Orlando, in this case--you've gotta give it a burl, eh?
The pizza, well, it was alright. They chucked it in a woodfire oven, which sounds as fancy as a kangaroo in a dinner jacket, but it was nothing to write home about. Now, the pasta, that was a bit of a surprise. Looked flash as, but taste-wise, it wasn't exactly the bee's knees. And crikey, the prices! We're talking 15 and 17 bucks for pizza and pasta at Maccas. You'd think it was sprinkled with gold dust for that much.
So, what's the verdict? Stoked I gave it a crack, just to say I've been there, done that. But as for going back? Yeah, nah. It's a solid 3 out of 5 stars from this crazy Aussie. Good on ya for trying, Maccas, but next time, I'll stick to the burgers and fries.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 143601098Apr 7, 20241 check-in
I got baited by the customizable pizza, pasta, and philly cheesesteak at the World's Largest Entertainment McDonald's.
As expected, this location is heavily touristy and chaotic. Once you find a functional kiosk, you then wait amidst the huge crowd. The super loud noise makes it difficult to hear the workers verbally call numbers. A monitor showing numbers would be so much more convenient!Â
Consider going up to the second floor for more spacious, less crowded seating. (There's also a large arcade to distract the little ones.)
Although the alfredo tortellini and pizza were simple & the philly cheesesteak wasn't a true philly cheesesteak, I found them to be oddly satisfying.
This particular McDonald's is a one-and-done kind of experience.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - David L.University, United States041Apr 4, 2024
Complete chaos from start to finish. Where to begin... how about the worlds largest McD with the smallest parking lot. Had to circle for 15 mins to get a parking space.
Inside only 10 ordering kiosks, all of which were 15 people deep when we arrived. Our kiosk was broken so at end of ordering it didn't print our order receipt so we had no order number.
Next pick up- it wasn't clear where to pick the food up - no signs anywhere. We soon heard some soft spoken, random guy, shouting order numbers over the super noisy crowd. Frustrated customers would then need to push their way to the front to get their food (often having to immediately return as their order was wrong). In chatting a few folks, some had been waiting over an hour for their food. To complicate things even more some food items like pizza have separate lines and different delivery times. Closest thing to a food riot I've seen. Our food arrived after 45 minutes for basic burger, fries, our pizza 10 mins after.
Our kids were upstairs where the arcade is so we thought at least they would be having fun. Turns out the ticket machine which counts tickets for prizes was broken so they had hundreds of these tickets with no way to redeem.
My advice - bring your own food and drink with you when you come to see the worlds largest (and worst managed) McDonald's.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 6, 2024
The world's largest McDonald's, but sadly, that's all it really is... really large.
The unique food that baited us to go was horrendous. McPasta was bland with a pool of watery tomato sauce. The McPizza was just a slob of oil and grease. I'd need to be hammered to enjoy a slice and even that would be a waste of calories because I could go elsewhere for pizza. Oh it gets worse... if you didn't think it could get worse, you're wrong. Their "cheesesteak" was an absolute nightmare and disgrace to cheesesteaks. Diced, flavorless, beef covered in McChicken lettuce, tomatoes, and a square slice of cheese. They really put a square slice of cheese they'd use for a burger inside a hoagie. The "cheesesteak" was also 90% McChicken lettuce. This was the laziest attempt at a cheesesteak I've ever seen... at the "World's Largest McDonald's" I had to spit my sandwich out. The only thing that I liked was the Guava Pie. There is an arcade, but it's such a scam because all the vending machines are rigged and don't even give you a chance to win anything. Overall, this place was the definition of an overhyped tourist trap.
A regular sized McDonald's is better than this place. What a joke.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amber J.Nashville, United States12261142Apr 18, 20241 check-in
While in Orlando we wanted to visit what is known as the world's largest McDonald's. Wasn't that impressed with it vs any other McDonald's. Ordered the Filet-O-Fish combo and paid extra for extra tartar sauce. I would hate to see what the normal amount is. I had to lift the bun to fine the tater sauce. Also, with the large number of guests in the restaurant you would l
Think the fries would be hot. They were lukewarm.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1935681940Dec 5, 2023
We always go to Orlando but have never made a stop inside this McDonald's and decided to since it was the biggest McDonald's in the world. Parking is very limited so you just have to choose a good day and time to go. It wasn't too busy and plenty of seating.
You pay first, grab a number and find a place to sit. Food was rather expensive but I mean, I get it. It's a tourist thing but we're locals so yeah.
Arcade and play area are on the second floor. The elevators weren't working so we had to use the stairs. Play area is cool, pretty large and fun. Arcade is cool too but rather expensive. They even have a place for you to redeem your tickets like a real arcade. It was too much so we didn't play.
Overall, still just a regular McDonald's with extra options like pizza, pasta and Philly cheese. Nothing too special and I prefer the drive thru still.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 2 - Dec 25, 2023
World largest McDonald's for the entertainment area. They have an entire 2nd level as a play area and arcade.
This McDonald's is also unique that they offer some different options than the typical ones in the states do. They offer on their menu Philly cheesesteaks, pastas, and pizzas.
They have a pizza oven which is pretty unique for a McDonalds
Although the workers you can tell didn't want to be there. Their faces say it all. And as they're huddled in the corner behind the registers chatting. The idea of any customer service isn't really there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 26, 2024
We HAD to stop at the Worlds biggest McDonald's in our way to Orlando and it was very impressive in the inside. On the outside it doesn't actually look that big, but on the inside they've got an arcade and playhouse and lots of really neat art. The various seating areas are designed well and it's a fun place to hang out. They even have their own dessert bar that makes cakes, a wood fire pizza oven and pasta options. Pretty cool!

After arriving in Orlando, we came here to stretch out our legs and have an early dinner. This is the world's largest McDonald's for now and it even has pasta as well as pizza. I was beyond impressed with those two things alone.
You can order from the middle of the restaurant and place your number where you are sitting. The staff will bring you the food. That never happens at McDonald's unless it's requested.
There is a huge play place and arcade for the kids to burn their energy out on. Unfortunately, my son accidently fell on one of the bars in the play area and it left a huge bruise on his neck. He hung low after that and stuck to the arcade.
I got the pasta with broccoli. It was very good paired up with a frozen Sprite lemonade. Even though it was a little high for the pasta, I found it was worth it for the experience.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Stephanie L.Miami Gardens, United States021Apr 1, 2024
I went to this location in February and I was excited to try out the famous pizza and pasta.
There wasn't any available. Upstairs closed. Arcade unavailable.
Ambiance - Poor.
There were booths missing, it was dirty and there was a group of homeless people just hanging out in there. One even picked a fight with a worker because he wanted to change the tv.
It's April now, and I went back to give it a 2nd chance, only to see how the Owner responded to a review I left on google of all places.
Shows the level of maturity, servitude and accountability of this location.
Abysmal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
