The décor is very nice. The hot chocolate was very high quality. The gelato was very nice. The staff let us try a couple flavours before deciding on the maple one.

Super nice. Great coffee. You can get a real ceramic cup which I think it's a plus because coffee taste better out of a real cup, don't you think?
It's super chill, there's cute, jazz, playing and kitchen, decor, and outdoor seating.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 164673359427Aug 7, 2019
Matter of Taste conveniently located in Downtown area. With the help of Yelp App, we conveniently decided to come here for our Coffee fix before visiting The Museum.
On a nice Sunny day, you have the option of sitting at the tables right in front of the cafe which are great for people watching. The vibe here is casual and down to earth.
Coffee was good and so was the scone.
A good choice when you are in the area visiting.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 108167717Aug 23, 2019
Best coffee shop in KW.
I haven't had a date square that delicious since my Nana made them for me as a child. Not sure if it was the nostalgia, the crumbly granola or the chewy date but these are really top notch.
Try the mochaccino! Pairs well with ANY of their delicious pastries.
Very cordial staff, which makes this place even sweeter.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 5198459Apr 27, 2019
Came by for some late night gelato. Service was really nice and we got to try every flavour between all of us (there are not too many flavours in total). Have never tried the coffee or anything else so cannot speak on the quality or worth-it-ness of those items, but the gelato was really quite good for the price. Most of the flavours were too sweet for my taste, but the mango sorbet was rich and delicious. At $2.75 for a single scoop cone, I really cannot think of a better price.
Atmosphere is also great, and I imagine this would be a lovely place to chat with friends or do some work. I will be coming by again if I get the chance.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 31, 2020
Was recommended to me by another cafe owner (it's that good). The vibe is very hipster with the exposed brick. Staff was good. I saw electrical outlets but didn't test the wi-fi. Espress was solid. The muffin was the best I've had in SW Ontario so far. Recommended.

The service was amazing, the barista explained in detail the drinks I was interested in. The taste of the muffin was so fresh and warm and was served to my table. The cafe dulce was made perfect not to sweet and creamy. Latte was hot steamy and creamy and not to sweet as per request of only 1.5 shot of sweetness. Cute location and plenty of seating. All the deserts and pastry's al looked delicious. They can customize your coffee to your likings

Prices are fair and the food is good at this quaint little cafe. Unfortunately I didn't get to sample the coffee, but the iced matcha tea more than made up for it with an invigorating and crisp flavor that was both refreshing and delicious. The salad was filling and complex in flavor, with the pistachio giving it the much needed crunch to bring it all together. There were high ceilings and interesting art on the walls, with relaxed regulars chatting the afternoon away. Save for the difficulty in finding parking, I loved this spot and would be back again, especially before a long car ride!

It's a charming coffee shop located in dt Kitchener. Because of the construction, the traffic is not convenient. The place is not big and only have a few tables. It should be busy in the afternoon.
They have a wide choice of coffee and other drinks. Also they serve ice cream in summer, which is really worth to try. My favourite drink there is their London fog and the signature Canadian fog, which is made of maple syrup instead of sugar. I think the London fog is the best one I have tried so far. And the Canadian fog is very surprised to me, because I never tried in another place. It is really a signature drink here.
This place is worth to go again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Michayla C.Brockville, ON391May 10, 2020
OMG! What can I say about this delightful cafe. I started going here during the summer of 2019 when I got a job at a local restaurant downtown. They make THE BEST iced coffee ever! This is coming from an iced coffee connoisseur ;)
Not only do they have THE BEST iced coffee in the game! Have you ever heard of Affogato!? MUST TRY! A perfect pick me up during the day!! Also the chocolate cookies are to die for! My absolute favourite part this establishment is the loving barista Brandy (spelling?) she's an absolute joy to chat up and will help guide you through the menu if you're a little stuck. EVERYONE and their mothers should come here!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
