Mastermind Toys

We stumbled upon this store accidentally. Decided to go in. I had very low expectations going in, since this is located in a strip mall. But, man was I wrong!
- Lots of toys
- Excellent variety
- Prices are reasonable
- Store is nice and clean
- Decor is fresh
- Staff was nice

No negatives to report. As a matter of fact, Toys R Us should learn from them as to what a TRUE toy store should be like.

Biggest caution is that, even as an adult, I was tempted in almost every isle to buy stuff!! Lots of cool stuff! I can only imagine how tempted I would have been had I come in as a kid! So, leave your kids in the car! ;oP

Great non-harassment style customer service! A simple hello upon entrance and a follow up "if there's anything I can do" about 10 minutes later. Lots of selection of great educational toys and books (fun ones too). Nice that they had a Thomas table set up with a significant number of trains for the little one to play with while mom did a quick once around.

The only non-English books they had were in French (which is fine), but it was nice to see that they had a good selection of Lego and also that there was a bathroom. Quick and friendly service upon checkout and also a great deal on Ravensburger Puzzles - buy 1 get the next 50% off. Will be back.

Love this place, always take my daughter there on a rainy day so she can play and look at all the toys. They are a bit on the pricey side but they have an amazing and unique toy selection!!

I went to Mastermind Toys for the first time to look at potential gifts and was curious to see what they sell. Initially the staff was extremely friendly however after looking around for not even 3 minutes a male sales associate came up to me and asked if I needed help, to which I replied that I was only browsing. What he said afterwards is what shocked me, he said "Oh well uh I guess just keep looking around then, see if you find anything, not that I care." All while rolling his eyes and sounding fed up.

The attitude he presented was horrifying and made me feel extremely unwelcome. I left the store immediately and definitely won't ever be coming back, at least not with that guy's passive aggressive attitude.
