Great experience again!!

We did not have reservations for Friday but they immediately us and it was busy! We spilt the ribeye w a topper and it was outstanding as always!! Great service. Great sourdough and great value.

I was charged $$46.00 for the boneless 12 oz ribeye, which is listed on the menu as $32.00. I have had much better steaks for less than $30. This steak was mediocre, at best.
I called the restaurant the next day to speak to a manager to have the charged adjusted. The girl that answered the phone refused to get a manager. She stated that there was no manager on duty; that the manager was a waitress. She kept asking me what this was about. I declined to discuss the issue with her. Instead, I asked for the manager's name and when she would be in so I could call back. She refused to give me any information, but kept insisting that I tell her what this was about. She stated that it is company policy to not give out any information, including her name. She stated that she can only take my information and the waitress would call me back when she arrived, if she wasn't too busy - because she wears many hats.
She then got some man, said his name was Art, who put me on Speaker phone and was quite confrontational. He refused to tell me what his position is at the restaurant. Instead, he became quite angry. I ended the call. I will pursue this matter with the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company.

What a great splurge!

I picked up my dear friend from the airport and she said "I'm taking you to Madera's" ! She's never steered me wrong and certainly hit the jackpot here!

This was a huge ribeye, which we split and also split a wedge salad.

The rib eye literally melted in our mouths. Im pretty sure you could eat it without teeth. The sweet potato fries were done just right, crispy out and soft inside. The braised spinach was so perfectly seasoned and done au point, like the fine steak. The wedge salad was a delight, best quality blue cheese, crisp fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes and smoked bacon. Yum!!!

I came home with steak and a giant bone for my Armenian Gampr puppy. He is a 160 lb not even yet a year old AND believe it or not, a discerning palate. He snubs his nose at most bones but was thrilled to sit for this one, once he caught the scent of a prime rib eye bone, aged and prepared to perfection.

Came here on a Monday night. Semi-crowded but was seated promptly. I liked the live music in the dining room made it a nice and fun ambiance. Would have given 4 stars but the food was so salty.

Hot bread and soft butter. French onion needed cheese to cover the top. My steak was super salty and the Mac n cheese very rich. Baked potato was good, wedge salad tasted like blue cheese and vinegarette. Took a little long to get our food. Parking was a bit of a challenge. Overall 3/5, visit.

After many years of driving by we finally made it in today. M6husband and I came in for lunch right after 2:00pm so we missed the lunch specials lol.

Nah we didn't care about that...jay was our server today she provided great service/food was good, the place was pretty empty.

No complaints there....
Would I return?? Nope... it was just a one time for me. But glad we finally came.

I came here with a group of 14 people on a Saturday night. I ordered 6 spare ribs and chicken combo with corn and green beans. We each got 2 pieces of hot crusty sourdough bread. The food was hot and tasty. Everything was very good. Service is different when you are with a group. We all enjoyed our food. I especially liked the singer who played the guitar. He sang classic rock songs. I enjoyed all of them.

I've been here many times over the years. Every time is different and good.
Food - always hot, flavorful and prepared exactly as I ordered it.
Service- everyone here is nice, friendly and they back each other up with helping tables that aren't theirs.
Ambiance - it's a little dated, the bar is the same as when this building was Tony Romas!But I still like it .. has its own personality.

I liked everything. I didn't like that they gave two people a $100. Meal and charged for seconds on bread . Clearly
Its not about the 5.00 bucks for bread. Its the principal. I needed like one more and my friend ate one more piece.

Just dumb enough that we wont be back . Theres lots of good steak places within the area. My hubby was so mad. Hurt his ego. Not such a good atmosphere. Place empty and refills on tea never came. Wanted a to go order but by the time they drop ck didn't even ask if we needed anything

The food was very delicious!! Party of 4.. pulled pork sandwich, 2 tri tip sandwiches and the rib plate. Nothing left on our plates!! ( we took home doggie bags) The service was outstanding!! Our waitress was also the bartender and hostess .. Jack of all trades and did them all well!
We loved the music!! All oldies!!
First time visit for 2 of us. Will be back!!

We went for a birthday celebration lunch. Jaidyn was our server, she was so friendly! The food was great, the salad we had was exceptionally good! It was my birthday and Jaidyn brought us a birthday treat! I would definitely go back again. Great place to take a date. And also, their happy hour gets busy so I'm assuming they make good drinks!
