This place just keeps getting better and better! i booked a last minute room on Expedia for the Vogue at $120/night. What a deal!. The Loews Vogue is my FAVORITE hotel in Montreal. Why is that? Well let's see....

      - Best bed in any hotel
      - Best bathroom in any regular hotel room
      - Great location - Right near Ogilvys on Mountain St. just off St. Catherine
      - Great hotel restaurant - La Societe
      - Best front door man in the business
      - Quiet rooms with a luxurious feel

The only problem, that's not really a problem (but might bother some people) is the construction that is happening across the road where the Hotel de la Montagne was and is now a hole in the ground waiting for a new high-rise. Although they stop working around 5pm, they do start up again around 8am. Good thing the rooms are almost sound proof. But if absolute quiet is your thing, it may be a problem. I am always impressed with how quiet the rooms are given the location so close to the main drag in town, Rue St. Catherine..

The hotel also has an adequate fitness room and they are gracious with late check-outs when they can. The 9th floor takes it up a notch in terms of decor and bathroom, but the 8th floor is about as nice. While the hotel itself is very old, renovations have taken place regularly and the new showers are awesome.

Valet parking is $35 per night and there are many shops and restaurants in a short walk from the hotel.

Feeling like a superstar in this hotel. Great location and walking distance to anything you're looking for - from restaurants to nightlife places; you can't go wrong. Staff are courteous and wonderful. Beautiful lobby and spacious rooms. My room was awesome, huge king bed. Nice size desk. Fully stocked minibar, high quality snacks. Your personal stocked Keurig coffee machine, for the first morning jolt of caffeine. If you want something stronger, they have a courtesy espresso machine in the lobby, that makes a terrific cappuccino, better than some of these coffee shops. The cooks here are great. They catered our event; breakfast and lunch were fresh and good. Better than some high end hotels that I've been to before. They even cooked something special for those with certain food allergies.

Once I hit the big bed and soft pillows and the comfortable sheets, I had an excellent well needed 8 hours of sleep. I also had a sofa at the foot of the bed; which reminded me of how I had my first studio apartment set up. The room had plenty of lights and during the day, open up the shades for great sunlight to enter the room.

The bathroom here was one out of a magazine, with a stand up shower and also a whirlpool tub, when those jets get going all the stress is gone and loved the bathroom because my floors were warm, plenty of lighting and a counter out of a magazine also.

They have a restaurant connected to the hotel in the lobby of you want a drink or some good food.

This will he my go to hotel whenever I'm in Montreal!!!!!

Been to this hotel for events 3 times now and I think it's safe for me to say I really enjoy coming here for events and would recommend them to my friends as a hosting venue.

My prom was held here, so was my sister's, and last night I attended a HarperCollins event. All times the service was great, the location super clean, and the indications clear.

Attentive and friendly staff with a great location. Check-in was seamless, doormen on point and helpful. Room spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. Late night snacks and breakfast at the hotel fine and the gym while small is also modern and adequate.

So, good rooms, excellent service, perfect location.

I have stayed at other hotels before, but this hotel is definitely in a class of its own!

When we pulled up, we had someone help us with our luggage and bags, and then valet parked our car for us. No matter the hour, you always had someone there to greet and open the doors for you.

Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the hotel is! There is a bar in the hotel, and a restaurant attached to the hotel as well. The area is beautiful, and conveniently located near many shopping stores, bars and restaurants.

Also to get to your room via the elevator, you'd have to swipe your room key first before selecting your floor in the elevator. I love this added feature for security, and to control the noise level on each floor.

We were lucky enough to get an upgraded room located at the end of the hall, so our stay was pretty quiet and we had no problem with noise.

We needed a document scanned and emailed to us, and without any problem, the conceirge helped us right away.

Overall, our stay was absolutely amazing! And I would recommend this hotel, 5 out of 5 stars.

Had a great stay at the Lowes Hotel Vogue a couple of weeks ago...here are my thoughts:

Location is excellent, near great restaurants and not too far from the airport.

Service is top notch. Everybody was super friendly and helpful.

Rooms are VERY clean and quite large. My dad and I each had a room with an adjoining door, which was nice. The decor is minimalist and modern, although there are aspects that need to be upgraded (bathrooms are on the older side, telephones were literally from the 80s, etc).

Gym is small but functional and clean.

Prices weren't great, but not terribly high for the level of service. I booked through the Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts program, and so breakfast and a couple of $100 credits were included. We had breakfast each day, which was good, but didn't get to use the $100 credits.

Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again!

      Updated review

I simply had to return to Loews Hotel Vogue. I'm again absolutely happy with my stay; I upgraded to the Grand King, which is exactly what I needed to rejuvenate, catch up on sleep and refuel my body so I can return home to continue caring for one of my bedridden parents, who requires full assistance 24/7 from me.

I needed space and I got plenty of space in my cavernous Grand King guest room. Besides being huge, this upgraded room comes with a giant bathroom with an enormous Jacuzzi bathtub with a floor heater and ceiling heat lamps.

The king size bed is extremely comfortable, the pillows are awesome to lay my head on, the sofa is a nice distance from the TV (to watch the Golden Gate State Warriors play against the Cleveland Cavaliers), the mini refrigerator (upon request) is nice to have, the room safe is large, the views from the room is interesting and the closet is sizable.

The entire staff and management team is top notch, very professional, accommodating and friendly.

The lobby is very swanky, cozy and useful.

And the hotel is centrally located.

The room could use new carpeting; a little worn; not a big deal as the carpet still looks and feels nice.

Booked this hotel through Amex Plat. They must hire the most customer focused employees. I was greeted with friendly doorman who took my luggage, front desk explained to me all the perks which makes the room cost to almost nothing! Regardless you will enjoy your time here. I was placed on 7th floor with a nice jetted bathtub (maybe you can ask for this? It was SO nice) DIMMABLE lights in the bathroom, Vanity to do my makeup. Their valet is so worth it I never even had to go to the parking lot, the car is there in the front lobby whenever I just call ahead. Definitely worth checking this hotel out! Stayed their in Nov 2019.

I have never been so impressed by a customer service than at the Loews. The staff greeted us by name each time we entered the hotel. They were attentive to detail in every regard. We had a very minor inconvenience (caused by an unruly guest at the hotel--in no way within the managements control) and the staff not only gave us a $100 credit to the restaurant but also a handwritten letter and a bottle of nice wine. They went above and beyond--far more than I would have ever expected.

In addition to unmatched service, the hotel is well located with lovely decor and plentiful amenities. The complimentary espresso machine at the front desk is a cherry on top.

This hotel and most especially the staff gets a glowing 5 star review. The Loews has certainly gained two loyal guests!

Literally the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, from the doorman, to the people that checked us in! Called ahead about roses because it was my girlfriends birthday, they had the roses placed in the room before we arrived! Then later that evening room service brought us a complimentary snack with a birthday card signed by the staff! The rooms are beautiful and extremely clean, the bathroom is huge and has a TV over the tub... I'd stay a million more times if I could!

Man, I really love it when this happens. That is, when you stay at a hotel and everything goes perfectly. From the second I walked into Loews, the experience was all I could ask for.

I upgraded to a suite, but what I walked into looked more like a honeymoon suite than just a regular upgrade. The room had a luxury apartment like set up complete with a foyer, living room, kitchen, huge bedroom and bathroom that came with jacuzzi and private sauna. Needless to say, I was blown away... Aside from the wow factor of the room, the bed was noticeablly comfortable and the room was modernized just right.

The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Montreal. Its ideal if you're traveling on business as its walking distance to many business. There also numerous restaurants and bars within the area, so you can literally have all the entertainment you need within walking distance. There's also a really good restaurant attached to the hotel that is perfect for either lunch or dinner.

Definitely the best hotel I've stayed at in Montreal and one that I will be coming to again and again.
