Super awesome store. Reliable and modern clothes, foot wear and sport accessories. I have been shopping here since 2003. I buy my running shoes, and many different clothes here. Staff are friendly and helpful. The store is fresh and clean.

Unfortunately both my sister and I have flat feet. We share the same podiatrist, Dr. Patel, and she recommends Lady Sport to get supportive shoes for our needs. We were last here over 2 years ago and had a great experience so decided to make the trek again to get more pairs of shoes.

We were immediately greeted by Phil and were taken care of from step one to end step. He took the time to listen to our wants and balanced it with our needs. The customer service here is top notch in normal times and even now during Covid. I was only planning to get one pair of shoes but ended up walking out with two pairs. My sister bought one pair of shoes but got up sold to also buy two pairs of additional insoles.

The employees here are the best and make a stressful shopping situation an easy experience. Highly recommend everyone going here (not just Ladies!) and will continue to making the trek here.

The service here is beyond excellent. During covid they delivered my shoes to me at home personally. And when another delivery was stolen from my front porch they replaced the boots free of charge. I'm a loyal customer for life!

I recently brought my mom in to get some shoes for her newly minted custom medical orthotics. The staff member we interacted with, Eric, is one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with in any retail setting. He was super patient with my mom (English is her second language), actually LISTENED to her while she would ask random things & would answer politely every time! He gave her a ton of options to try until she found a pair she loved!

Update: We had to come by and change shoe sizes as the original pair were a bit too big. We got stuck in traffic and didn't make it by their 6pm closing time and Eric & the staff there told us they would wait for us!!! Imagine that! And he was just as patient as the first time, helping my mom fit other sizes again and lacing her shoes for her so they would fit perfectly. I seriously recommend this business more than any other if you're a woman looking for active wear. I just wish they sold guys shoes lol (I think they have another location that does tho!)

Several years ago, I went to LadySport to purchase a new running bra. Long story short, I had awful service. The classic, I'm standing at the till with a half complete transaction, ready to pay and the phone rings. And instead of ignoring the phone or picking it up and asking the person to hold; the sales associate took that phone call and helped the person on the phone instead of me. I was really angry and should've walked out, but I really needed a new bra. I waited for probably 5 minutes; I didn't say anything, bought the bra, and vowed never to shop at LadySport again. And I haven't. I've bought everywhere but there, over the years.

Fast forward to today, approximately 15 min ago. I went to LadySport to pick up my race package for Chilly Chase.

Again, I was in need of a running bra. I decided to give LadySport another shot. After looking at the bras for a short period of time, a sales associate helped me pick a couple to try on. Great! She left me at the fitting rooms, telling me to let her know if I needed another size, she would get it for me. Well I needed another size.

I stood outside the fitting room for about a minute and nobody was around. I came out into the main area of store by the shoes, looking for someone to help out. A couple of staff looked at me and kept walking. I didn't want to go too far because my purse was in the fitting room.

I went back to the fitting room area and waited. I then saw the woman who helped me in the first place. I approached her but didn't realize she was on the phone. I smiled and politely backed off thinking that she'll help me when she's off the phone.

Nope.

She got off the phone and didn't check to see if I needed something.

So I grabbed my purse, phone, bra that didn't fit and walked out to the floor, braless I might add - to find a different size. It fit perfectly. And now I'm buying it somewhere else and again vow to never shop at LadySport again.

While I was out on the floor trying to find the correct size, no staff asked if they could help. I'm so disappointed in the service.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. I have several issues with my feet and the man that helps in the shoe section is amazing with his knowledge. Wouldn't go anywhere else for trainers now. Highly recommend.

Wow...the customer service for LadySport/ Fitfirst is phenomenal. I called to find a pair of the newest Nike Vaporfly and they didn't have what I was looking for and referred me to their other store Fitfirst in Burnaby. I called and Phil had a pair. I said I was coming from Kits and it would take me about 40 minute to get to the store. He said the store due to Remembrance Day was actually closed but that he would come to the store to meet me so I could try them on. Then, he offered to bring them to the Kitsilano location as he was going to be there the next afternoon to save me the drive. Unbelievable fantastic!! Highly recommended... Lady Sport and Fitfirst. I am a nurse and have been going to Lady Sport for many years to get a specific runner that fit my feet property. They are always happy to order the runner for me and hold it until I am able to come over from Salt Spring Island to purchase them. One time a friend picked up my runners for me and brought hem over to Salt Spring Island only to discover they were black. Lady Sport said they had no problem with me returning them three months later when I would be in Vancouver again. Another time I wanted to try some hiking books to see if they would work with my old tired nurses feet and they were fine with me taking them home to Salt Spring to wear around the house and possibly return them the next time I was in Vancouver. To me this is superb customer service and why would I want to give me money to a huge company when can I help out a small business.

Ladysport is absolutely the best place to go in Vancouver to buy women's athletic shoes.
They have experienced knowledgeable staff who take the time to help you find the perfect shoes. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit and have always been very pleased with the service I get at ladysport. I live in East Van but it's worth the drive to west 4th. I won't buy athletic shoes anywhere else. Highly recommended.
