No drive thru at this location but lots of available parking! The service is quick and the place is very bright and clean. The quality is the same as always with the delicious and sweet donuts.
They used to give away a dozen donuts on your birthday but they changed it last year to 3 donuts. :(Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 18, 20241 check-in
I originally thought Krispy Kreme Donuts was just a phase, when it first came out. Their stock (Dow Jones) shot through the ceiling, and when the carb-less phase was popular, their stocks took a dive. Anyhow, Krispy Kreme weather the storm, and they're still around!
This is a newer location. It use to be a pizza place that moved. And tbh, I was quite shocked that it became a Krispy Kreme.
The donuts here are not as fresh, compared to other locations. It was probably made during the night. I was a bit disappointed at their Valentines Day Donuts. It looked wonderful, but I already knew it's been in the refrigerator. I bought six Donuts. Four Valentines decorated ones, and two Glazed. The total was around $17.00, or around $3.00 per donut. But I understand the Valentines ones was more expensive.
Anyhow, they were still delicious regardless. I wanted to order online to save time, but wasn't possible at this location. They weren't as busy during the day, so it was still quick.
Too bad I didn't see any donuts being made at this location when I there. Or else I would have bought a lot more. Lol.Helpful 8Thanks 1Love this 8Oh no 1 - 2032632816Feb 7, 2024
We stopped by to get the guys some donuts for late afternoon snack. It came out about $18 for a dozen donuts plus one coffee (no pic). Coffee was just ok. They started to make valentines donuts with hearts filled with cream.
The thing I like about these Krispy Kreme donuts is that they're still soft the next day. There are other locations all over, but this was the closest to where I was.
Service was quick and people are pleasant to talk to. Happy Valentines!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Mark Y.Los Angeles, United States20617639Apr 14, 2024

Donuts here are trucked in from elsewhere. They are tiny too. I appreciate the chain's program to reward As on report cards but other than that, not sure why it's worth going. Even the nearby 24 hour chain tastes better.

Not your typical Krispy Kreme. Love the neighborhood feel...
The shop is located on a major street with its own parking lot. The building is narrow so if you blink, you may miss it.
If you've ever been to the big Krispy Kreme locations, you will notice the difference. The shop was not crowded. There is no drive thru. There was no wait in line. It had the vibe of an old school neighborhood donut shop with a modern retro look. There was indoor and outdoor seating.
The donuts were fresh. The store was well stocked. The shop was clean and the donuts presented well behind the glass.
Pricing was reasonable.
Customer service was good. There were two employees working at the time of my visit. One was somewhat pleasant. There other was lukewarm.
I'd visit again.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 1 - 54910142602Mar 14, 202312 check-ins
When I got an email from Krispy Kreme that it is coming soon to South Pasadena, I couldn't believe it was really happening. Krispy Kreme? in South Pasadena? Really? Well, they weren't lying. It is here and running! It took over the old Momma's Pizzeria lot, so it is pretty small compared to other locations, but do we care? Nope. Sadly, it doesn't have a drive-through either. That sucks, but I mean, I should be happy I don't have to go all the way to Burbank or Torrance (Gardena).
The lot is also small so since it just opened, there's a good amount of people visiting so lot is full. I had to wait about 10 minutes to get parking space. There's street parking but that was full too when I went. Either way, I am sure it will die down soon or later and parking shouldn't be a problem then.
There was a line of people waiting to get inside to order but luckily, I placed an order ahead of time on their app. I ordered two dozens of Original Glazed for my mom. She's always asking me to bring home Krispy Kreme whenever I go visit friends in Torrance. Now she can get it herself, haha.
The guy helping me out with the pick up was friendly and he seems to know a lot of people visiting. I was just so happy I didn't have to wait in line to order but it's for the experience for some people I must say.
I don't think I ever saw the "Hot Now" light on the app and if I am not wrong, they probably aren't making them at the store but rather delivered from nearby stores since it is a small store (yes, this is confirmed to be true). Don't know if I will ever get to eat a hot fresh donut but I don't think that's happening anytime soon here specifically.Helpful 22Thanks 3Love this 20Oh no 1 - Chris P. I was craving for donuts after lunch. As I walked in, nobody was there. That was a sign to walk right back out. Small donut. I got the chocolate iced sprinkle & a medium coffee. A total of almost $6.00. I wanted to go somewhere other than Starbucks. The guy behind the counter didn't know if he was allowed to give me change for a $5.00 bill. Pass on this place, tons of donut places around.
