We specialize in Korean Style Fried Chicken, but with a twist. Our chicken is made with 100% rice flour which gives a CRUNCHY skin without a greasy taste. We have added a bit of spice to our original recipe, but also have a mild, non-spicy version available only in boneless…

Gluten Free fried chicken is so rare and unique, the idea in itself deserves 5 stars. ....But is the GF batter makes a better chicken?

We ordered the only large boneless 1/2 and 1/2 option available - Crispy and Parmesan. The chicken were crispy and tasty for the first few pieces. Only wished they had more offerings of GF.

One large serving was decently packed and believe to be fair value as it fed two athletic average weight person adequately.

If they had more flavours, cleaned up the place, and offered dine in, this would be a five star joint. Currently it is a decent 3.5 stars. Not a pretty place to be at the moment.

I will come back if they had more GF options.

      Recommend it.

We ordered through their online ordering system, which was quick and easy. We decided on a large boneless half and half chicken (soy garlic and the sweet and spicy). When I came to pick up our order, it was ready on time and the staff were friendly.

Overall, the chicken was crispy and tasty. I liked how it wasn't too saucy, but still had plenty of flavour. The batter wasn't too thick and still remained crispy on the drive home. I did find that the pieces of chicken wasn't as meaty as other places. The portion was pretty good with plenty of bite sized pieces. I'd recommend this place, especially since they use rice flour, so it's gluten free. Not all the flavours are gluten free, but they have a few options.

We ordered JTL Chicken World to go after being in the Coquitlam area for the day. As a big fan of Korean Fried Chicken, we were excited to try JTL Chicken World and we definitely were not disappointed. Easy online ordering system with friendly staff who had our order all ready when we arrived. We got the half and half boneless chicken - half spicy and half soy garlic and it was delicious! Would recommend!

      This place needs more recognition!
We had the lunch combo which I thought was a pretty good deal. It comes with fried chicken, salad, rice/fries, and onion rings!

We tried spicy soy garlic and cheese sprinkles. Spicy soy garlic wasn't spicy at all but it was very flavourful and I liked it!
The cheese ones were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside!

Even the fries were really good! I hate soggy, premade fries but the fries here were crispy and made fresh!

The staff was friendly and overall I really liked it here and I will definitely come back!

It used to be Chickenholic in the past. It was my first time to come here after they had changed the owner.

The interior design and ambience remained the same like before even though the owner had been changed. Too be honest that the interior design doesn't look great. It could have done a better job. Maybe the owner doesn't want to spend too much money on renovation or interior design. But the first impression of the restaurant to the new or existing customers is very important.

My husband and I ordered half and half of the fried chicken. Half was the horny garlic and half was the sweet and spicy. After ordering the chicken, we had to wait for 15 mins. The server was friendly and told us politely that we had to wait. We walked outside the restaurant and waited but there was nowhere to go or nothing to see in the same complex or in the neighbourhood.

The fried chicken came with some sour daikon as appetizers. The sour daikon tasted great that it was not too sour. Both flavours of the fried chicken tasted fantastic. They smelt so good as well.

The restaurant has parking at the front but there is not a lot of parking stalls. The pricing was okay. Not super expensive but it's not cheap. We wouldn't mind to eat the fried chicken once in a while, but we can't always eat it due to the health reasons.

Fried chicken is probably my favourite food in the world, and I'm pretty damn picky about it. JTL lived up to the hype.

Normally I don't choose boneless chicken, but the lunch special was the right size so we went for it. I was surprised at how light and crispy the chicken was. Moist and flavourful throughout as well. It's pretty spectacular chicken. I only tried two versions without sauce, but both were delicious.

The bonus is that the coleslaw, potato salad, and fries were all great too. The fries are so light and crispy, and still tender inside.

Parking is pretty limited, but I came away really impressed. This place and LA Chicken in Richmond are my top 2 in the Lower Mainland now.

We stopped by over the weekend for some fried chicken and ordered the lunch special. For flavours, we picked the sweet & spicy chicken and the maple honey chicken. It was an extra dollar to add a pop to the combo. There was choice of rice or fries and choice of potato salad or coleslaw.

Food arrived in reasonable time. Chicken was nicely fried. The batter was crispy and light. The maple honey was a nice change from the standard Korean fried chicken flavours. The sweet & spicy flavour is the typical flavour you find at Korean restaurants. The spring roll was filled with what I can see was creamy potato and pieces of veggies. The potato salad and coleslaw were average tasting. The chicken was the star of the meal.

The ambiance is like a hole in the wall. However, it was clean and tidy. They accept credit card. Parking on the plaza is limited.

I've been exploring for really great fried chicken. And I've found it! Little hole in the wall take out place this is, but they get the fundamentals down pat. Great customer service, Asian inspired sides, decently priced and simply delicious fried chicken.

Perfectly seasoned (not too salty), juicy and not oily friend chicken. Asian dressing drizzled over fresh coleslaw, pickled daikon (refreshingly goes so well with fried foods). Satisfied my CBA (Canadian born Asian) palette.

Can't wait to do take out dinner for the family soon!

This is one of the two GF fried chicken places I know of in the GVRD. We had to head in to the Coquitlam Ikea this evening and thought this would be the perfect time to check it out.

It's a tiny shop and there is currently no option to dine-in. Shame, since we live a 40 min drive away and would've liked to have the chicken fresh and hot. The cashier was friendly, quick and attentive. The order took 30 min - looks like they're being kept quite busy, especially on a Friday night!

Wish I knew it would take that long beforehand - would've ordered over the phone first.

The order was ready in 28 min, so their time was very accurate! Brought it home and heated it up in the oven again - might have made it a bit dryer.

The leg pieces were very juicy and crispy on the outside, but the breast pieces were dry. The batter was not at all greasy, which is great. I could only have the GF flavours so we got the original and herb parmesan garlic. They have 9 flavours in total, would've been amazing if I could had the others. Perhaps the store can consider making sauces using GF soy sauce instead? Bet that would be popular! We liked the very mild spiciness of the chicken, but would rather have a hotter option.

The order also came with an additional side of homemade Korean pickled radish, which was sweet and crunchy.

We couldn't finish the one large bone-in order between the two of us, so we left 4 pieces as leftovers for another day.

I'd definitely visit again in the future if we're in the area!
