Food hot and tasty service need lost of work and the drive thu pickup window a lot of cleaning

We always hear great things about this place and wow they did not disappoint. The hubby and I had perch with chicken wings and catfish. We loved how the fish and wings were fried hard. We asked for extra seasoning, which is a must. The lady behind the window was super nice considering how long it took us to decide what we wanted. We also had the frozen lemonades which I didn't care too much for but my husband liked it. I look forward to trying this place again once we move to ATL!

The food was amazing I ordered the 6 piece whole wing special. The fries were crispy and amazing the wings were too I normally don't use hot sauce but when the chicken that good you feel the need to razz it up with some. They urged me to try the lemonade it was good too. I'll be back to try something else but overall this was a hit. The service was great the people were friendly

I have seen this place and other locations but never gave it any thought. My friend brought me the cat fish and fries and I enjoyed it. So when I had the urge for fried chicken it was a no brainer to head over to JJ Fish and Chicken. I was a novice as I noticed other patrons coming and saying give me the number this give me the number that while I was like can you add this or can you add that to the order . Anyhow, the fried chicken was slapping.

Don't go!!! I had a taste for some whiting fish and I wanted it fried like Chicago style. I imagined the fish to be fresh, plump and tender instead I was received the driest, darkest and oldest pieces of fish imaginable. It seems like they dipped it in soy sauce, fried multiple times and then microwaved it. I was so disappointed. Of course, I threw it away because I couldn't eat it. Anyway, I'll wait until I return to Chicago to try it again. It's been many years since I've visited J&J's so hopefully I have a great experience. The one star is for the super friendly cashier.

Horrible. Nothing taste as it should.

I ordered combo with shrimp and scallops added 1 piece whiting on my last visit 3/25/2023. Everything was undercooked. Luckily I didn't get poisoned. But threw away a good portion. Sadly I paid with cash otherwise I would have disputed the charge. Waste of money and time.

I won't return to this location.

Now I see why no line on this particular day/time.

I will never visit this location again (1959 METROPOLITAN PARKWAY, ATLANTA, GA 30315) Absolutely horrible location! Poorly trained staff. Did the owner of this location put forth any effort to hire decent people? I've seen so many unkempt, unprofessional people in one place. A customer came in to voice a complaint and it quickly escalated to a profanity laced confrontation. The manager on staff was useless. This behavior is unacceptable!

WARNING- know what you want before you get in the drive-thru line! The guy that walks around taking orders shows no mercy! He will rush you and won't give you time to look at the menu before placing your order! The whole drive-thru set up is insane! There are two lines that feed into one, and it's directed by two armed security guards! What the heck is going on over there?!

This was my second time having fish from JJ's but my first time at this location. Unfortunately the food here fell flat for me. The fish was fried so hard that we could barely eat it. They also sprinkle some type of seasoning on your food (MSG maybe) which made it all extremely salty.

I should've judged this book by the cover and went somewhere else!

Only thing that was open so we stopped here and ordered just a large cheese pizza and it was basic , place was filthy! Wait was long ughhh no

DON'T GO HERE THESE PEOPLE DON'T VALUE YOU AS THEIR CUSTOMER!

These hand written signs are posted on the drive through window!

YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER because of these signs taped to the window at your drive through window! Seriously, I don't know who y'all think you are to treat your customers like this. Where is the customer service? Where is kindness? Where is the love? Where is the respect? Where is the respect? What happened to valuing your customers? Y'all should be happy to serve your customer. You should be willing to do anything to make your customers happy and give them what they need to help them enjoy their food better! You mean to tell me that you are going to ask your customers to get out of their car to come in to be served extra condiments when they are actually at the window. This note is rude, disrespectful and insensitive. And to think leaders of the restaurant wrote this and actually taped it to the drive through window! We can't even see inside the restaurant! I wonder what you would do if your customers stop coming? What do oils you do if the lines stopped being long! I see those lines be long but, y'all better remember giants do fall! Y'all are not grateful for your customers. Y'all don't deserve your customers either. This is unacceptable. How dare you as a company treat your customers in this way! You don't deserve another customer! And just to let y'all know the workers are the ones that are rude at this restaurant. You're nothing without your customer's money! It's sad to lose a customer for a sign. Mmm mmm mmm! I could not believe my eyes when I read this. This is not okay!
