I'm going out of my way to write about how April M. from the Jerome's Morena store and the manager who processes the protection plans and payments on the left side of the front desk (Christina or Christie I believe) are absolute 10/10 employees and made the furniture buying process enjoyable. They not only gave us space to look around without pressure but then gave us full depth information on anything we needed when buying our sectional. We had gone to other furniture stores to look around and not one single person was as welcoming, understanding, and informed about the items and our issues as the two of them. We ended up having a minor issue with our delivered order and the two of them went out of their way to make it right. Something you don't see nowadays.

Only giving two stars (the two salesman I dealt with PRIOR to my purchase bought item/s in 2024 have been nothing but impeccable - even the manager in one situation and only to fix a minor invoicing detail/change) 5 stars!
-This past experience was a doozy unfortunately.. we were lied to, and tricked for a sale. I can't say I won't come here again because I do like the product and the quality Jerome's offers. However, I will not give ANY sort of commission or my business to a particular sales person working there again. I felt duped, and clearly 100% LIED to.

Jeromes, you have failed again, Seven years ago I purchased my wonderful firm Jerome's queen mattress, as I am disabled after many, many surgeries, especially to my spine, and it was perfect. But now, my back has been so painful, my Mattress is only firm in the very middle of the mattress and the sides are like marshmallows, they sink when I get into bed and that causes a lot of pain in my back, I usually end up getting up and taking a Hydrocodeon and sleeping on my couch. On January 30th, 2024 I am having a pain conductor implanted into my back/Spine to help with terrible pain.
So, I called Jerome's and told them my situation, two weeks later they sent an independent Mattress inspector to examine my Mattress, He said, well the pictures do not show how bad my mattress is, but he said it is not up to standards and I would hear from Jerome.
One week later I got an Email:
"Hello, Keith. Thank you for your patience regarding the service with Jerome's Furniture. The mattress inspection report has been reviewed by management and it has been determined that the mattress is not defective; everything is within manufacturer specifications.
As this is the case we are not able to offer service, exchange, or reselection at this time. If you would like then you can contact us after 60 days have passed to request another inspection.
Thank you for your time and patience. Please feel free to contact us again if you have any questions or if you need further assistance".
I will never shop at this failed company again, I have found a company that has taken care of my purchases over the years and the right Man that does it all. MOR furniture in San Marcos, CA, go see the man, Jeff Sturm, he will not steer you wrong and will have your back, he has mine and I have purchased some beautiful items, especially my sectional and bedroom suite I bought after I purchased my mattress from JEROME'S.
For me, JEROME'S is a ZERO, not a Hero.

Ordered a storage bench back at the end of January that gave an original pick up time as early April and every month since then, I have been receiving texts that push my pick up date out til the following month.

This location actually has a bigger selection than others so that was a plus. It's also close to the freeway with lots of parking. We went to look at couches a couple times. The first time we went we were greeted promptly by a woman with an accent. She was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. She showed us different options that would fit with what we were both looking for. We left to come back and measure and decide if we wanted to return for coaches or not. The second time we went we walked in and got some looks and maybe once we got to the mattress section someone finally came and greeted. He was a younger Latino guy who was also very friendly and quick to help us find the coaches we looked at the previous day. Mind you only reason we didn't go back to that woman was because she was not there otherwise she was great. We were told we would have our coaches within 2 weeks so we decided to buy on credit. Once they saw the credit limit everyone was friendly. However, there was one Caucasian male mid age with a bald head. I remember this because the fierce stare he was giving was creepy and stereotypical. Mind you my partner does have visible tattoos but this person was staring like he was his parole officer or something. It was very uncalled for and inappropriate. Anyway, we proceeded with our purchase. Well almost 3 months later still no couches! We were told they keep getting back ordered and back ordered. Well enough was enough so we called and they manager says we can offer free shipping and 10% discount for the inconvenience. She then begins to get an attitude like it's our fault and says we can only offer one or the other. We planned on going back and purchasing a new bedroom and dining set but after this type of customer service and unacceptable wait time we will pass it's really not worth it to shop and not be valued.

The times when I went into Jerome's, I feel like theirs sales persons are a bunch of piranhas and I'm a little guppy. They just don't leave you alone. I want to go to a furniture store that lets me browse for a while then if I have questions, then I'll get a sales person.

Very disappointed with my experience. Ordered a couch back in early February and was told I would receive the couch within one week. Order was then pushed to the end of March. Called again and was now told it is currently pushed back AGAIN to late April. Terrible service. If you don't have the inventory do not sell items to people. This is absolutely ridiculous and impacts people. By the looks of the many reviews this is normal for this place of business.

I knew exactly what Jerome's customer service would say before they even responded. You know how I knew? Because it's always the same- they are "highly appreciative of the feedback-- so sorry for customer's bad experience-- they strive for great service". You know how I know it's a lie? Because nothing changes!
The substance of the reviews are always the same and have been for years! Jerome's
1. Cheats people on the financing by lying and then refusing to respond to the issues once they have your money
2. Jerome's does not honor the warranty.protection plans they trick you into paying for.
3. Jerome's delivers defective, damaged furniture and refuses to make it right, jerks its victims around and then refuses to respond to its victims
4. Jerome's lies about furniture being in stock and delivery dates so they make the sale
5. Jerome's does not respond to people begging for a response.
6. Jerome's sales people are not just liars, they are rude liars. Over and over and over it's the same. These issues are clearly not exceptions to otherwise ethical business practices and service. THESE SHADY DISHONEST PRACTICES ARE CLEARLY THEIR BUSINESS MODEL or they'd be fixed by now.
As for Jerome himself-- he has the time and resources to put into CUTSEY commercials-- and CUTSEY-- "Aw..shucks" banter --with his son who he's taught to be just as dishonest as he is-- but he clearly has no interest in correcting the continual ongoing issues. Why? Because cheating and lying is clearly their business model or they would have fixed this by now.
One of the reviews called the sales people "soul less "-- you have to wonder what sales people who do this to customers-- WHO ARE HUMANS-- say to themselves when they go home at night. Do they pat themselves on the back because they lied and cheated yet another human being? Do they--like Jerome-- model/ teach their children how to lie and cheat which to put it bluntly- is stealing from people. It steals their money. It steals their time. It steals their ability to trust. It's really shameful. Shame on Jerome with his CUTSEY commercials and lies. The response was they had 3 in stock and a rep would call me. Moses called and seemed surprised I was told it was in stock. He said it wasn't but he'd call around to see if he could find one as I needed it soon. He called back saying he'd found a set --as I was walking to a hair appointment and told me he sent a link and I needed to pay for it immediately or it would be gone. I told him I was walking, and was actually talking to him on my apple watch but would do it within an hour when I got to my appointment. He told me Jeromes was paying the tax. At my appointment, I went to the site to pay but amount was $130 more than I was told. I called Moses. He said the extra amount was a protection plan . We'd never even discussed protection much less did I agree to it--during his rambling, he mentioned it would be 6 to 8 weeks til delivery. No where on the link did it say this! He'd told me he'd found it for me as I wanted it immediately for company and could not wait.
I had him on speaker as I was in the chair in the salon. Not only had they added the protection plan without my consent, I was told the set was in stock and I'd have it delivered in 4 days! If I had just paid without noticing the price inflation, I'd have been locked in to a 6-8 week wait.. as I said he was on speaker so the stylist could hear him. He was rude and offensive and said--3 times-- "i explained this to you but I guess you just weren't listening" . He did not explain it. The stylist said, how rude and offensive he was.

Worst costumer/delivery service I've experience in a while.
I ordered a queen size bedroom set and never received it because the wrong items were delivered twice and the third time they tried to switch my delivery time the morning of delivery after I had already confirmed a time the day before. The delivery guys showed up without confirming the time and then cancelled my delivery even though it was outside my confirmed time. Immediately I contacted Jerome's and they said it's nothing they could do but reschedule for a fourth delivery date... that's wild!
