I came back again and brought a guest. I ordered tea and they brought me a pot, which was nice so I could drink as much as I wanted. We ordered the egg drop soup and very good. We also ordered the Haylumoon Appetizer Plate for two, two egg rolls two crab ring goo, and breaded shrimp and they were very good. I ordered the egg foo young and it was very good and the shrimp with lobster sauce was ok, I would probably try something else next time.

Once inside I was greeted by a smiling face that said welcome. I ordered an order of egg rolls and Mongolian Beef served with white rice. Both were very good. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Takeout is another option, I lost count on the number of people picking up orders. Many stated that they were happy they were open again !

2/20/16. Dinner service. Carryout.
They were supposed to be under new management but, the same people work there. The food is probably the worst ive had.
Had the general tsu chicken, sheimp lo mein, and chop suey, and egg rolls.
Pro: The rice was cooked well, and id give the general tsu chicken 2 outta 5 because it was spicy and i got a generous amount (ordered it spicy).
Generous servings in plastic to go tubs.
Nice new menus, and a fancy new website.
Cons:The egg rolls cannot be fresh, they were chewy and the cabbage seemed to be old. Also weird pink/red pieces of meat inside.
Shrimp lo mein had a shell from a crab? Even though it didnt have crab in it. The noodles were dry, and bland. The veggies seemed to be the hearts or end pieces. It had shrimp but they were baby shrimps(size of a quarter, understandable since its $8)they were cooked through and were good.
The chop sueys beef was super tough. Same problem with the veggies as the shrimp. The sauce was very bland.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The last time i had eaten there (a friend wanted chinese) it wasnt this bad. I hope the new management (not sure if thats real or not) just went witg pre packaged food to save money or what. But they wont get my business anymore.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lauren S.Chillicothe, United States7489129Sep 9, 2019
I'm not much of a chinese food fan so I am probably biased but also because most Chinese food I have had I never like the flavor/seasoning. I didn't really like the food here but whats most the cashier lady seemed rude when I checked out.

This is the BEST oriental food I've had in the Peoria area!
You probably won't stop if you are just looking at the exterior but you should! The restaurant is very clean and the food was delicious. I had the shrimp almond ding. The shrimp were large and the veggies perfect.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John M.Chillicothe, United States08Jul 18, 2019
Best Asian restaurant in the area if you want generous service with astounding taste this is the place to go and trust me I am not really one for Asian food because I am such a stickler on taste but this one by far is awesome small town hospitality with Asian authenticity It is super tasty fresh ingredients everyday and would recommend anybody

This was disgusting. The crab Rangoon made me gag, the cold and hot tea tastes like a funeral parlor, my fried rice tasted like an ash tray, and whatever the black sludge was they poured over the sesame chicken was....I nicknamed it "death sauce" I don't know how else to describe my time here other than sad and disappointing. On the plus side...the wait staff was very nice.

New owners have taken over and it was not good at first . You waited forever. Now after they have been open for awhile it is very good. Don't pass it by, you will be very pleasantly surprised ! We were.

I have been for the lunch buffet. Typical Americanized menu.
The dinner menu is much different. I am not a goumet, but I worked with the Chinese from Taiwan for five years when I worked for Lockheed/Martin in Fort Worth, TX. I know a bit about Chinese food.
The dinners are outstanding. You really need two people to go for dinner. You each order a separate specialty. You share. The more people you have the more variety you can get. If you ever get the chance, talk with the owner about a steak. He fixed a steak for me. I ate the steak, the fat, and got rolls to soak up the jucies left from the steak. It was one of the best steaks I have had in many years. I have eaten at some pretty good place and especially when I lived in TX. A Chinese friend came to visit. He ordered. It was really great.. My friend liked the food, but of course his wife can do better.
Bottom line, it is the best Chinese cooking in this part of IL and many other parts of the USA. Just to throw in in, I lived in San Francisco for over 7 years as well. This food is good.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Josh K.St. George, United States0211Feb 3, 2011First to Review
This place is wonderful. The lunch buffet is great, the egg rolls and pork dumping are good, and the crab Rangoon is fantastic. This is the first Chinese restaurant I have ever been to where all three of those items was good. The Orange chicken is my favorite dish, although I frequently get the Cashew Chicken or the Beef and Broccoli. The fried rice is very good and I also have heard a lot of good stuff about the Mongolian Beef.
