Gloria Jean's Coffee

I went in to Gloria jeans on my birthday and told them it was my birthday July 9th, and then I asked if I get a free coffee there because I am a regular customer and spent a lot of money their
, the male employee there went off on me
Saying "oh you want us just to give you a free coffee, loose money......" among other things, this guy was just went off on me for 10 seconds before showing me away all because I asked him a question, I was in a good mood but I felt so uncomfortable so I left and went to Starbucks, then went back in there a month or so later to talk to a different manager about what this guy had said, the woman I spoke to shrugged and said "oh well, we have no free coffees even for regular customers on their birthday" I went on to tell this employee "yeah but he wasn't right for going off on me because I asked!"
(And I remember to this day how this manager went off on me because it ruined my birthday!)
So this employee told me
"ok sir, either get a coffee or get out"
So I walked out, I haven't been in there for 6 years, but that manager gave me dirty looks when I saw him around the mall and I don't even want to go into Gloria jeans, their coffee is to over priced anyway.

At least starbucks are good to their regulars!

Listen I give good tips, just yesterday I gave a 40$ tip off a 110$ breakfast charge at I-hop, it shocks me when people are so mean when I am so nice!!!

Fast and knowledgeable service. Talked me through the different drink and coffee strengths. Gladly spent money here

Very nice little coffee shop in a mall, maybe the best shop in the whole mall. There's no place to sit so it's just a pick up and go place but they have nice workers, a good selection of overpriced mugs if you're looking, and pistachio latte. I especially like the pistachio latte. They have a small but quality selection of sweet baked goods to go with your coffee if you're not diabetic or gluten intolerant. Me, I'm diabetic and bigot intolerant but there don't seem to be any bigots in here the times I've been. This mall does have some comfy seating not too far from the coffee shop and pretty good WiFi but none of the seats are set up in a way you would be able to get any work done with or without the coffee. One negative is that although they take credit and debit cards, you can't put the tip on the card, and they are chronically short on cash. There aren't any shops nearby that will give you change so try to come here with a couple of singles as baristas do deserve tips. Second level across from Bath and Body Works.

I absolutely love this place! I get the same thing every time because it's so delicious. I have tried a couple sips of some of their other things if I go there with my husband or a friend. Those things are pretty good too.

They have a lot of cool and funny mugs for sale too. I haven't bought any because I have too many coffee mugs as it is but I good enjoyment out of looking at them.

I stop here every time I am at the mall and I always get the white chocolate caramel cookie chiller.

I went to buy whole bean pumpkin spice coffee. Called first to be sure they had it. It was expired for a full month. The clerk checked. All pumpkin spice coffee they are selling and serving is expired. How can they sell expired coffee beans at full price? Extremely disappointed!!

This diamond in the rough is located on the second floor of Southridge mall I think next to Gamestop. I do not go here as much as I used to but whenever I do visit they never fail to impress me. My mom used to take me here as a kid and for the most part they have always maintained the ability to make stellar drinks!

Most recently my gf got their pumpkin spice latte which (sorry Starbux) is oz for oz a better latte! It tasted so good I almost got one for myself! I usually get mocha frappes or some type of cookie chiller when I go and it just blows my socks off with that first sip!

I like the simple cafe set up at Gloria Jeans and some of the artistic designs they have on the chalk board above the bar. Usually there is a line of people but nothing too ridiculous to turn you away from stopping in for a good drink. I only wish there were more Gloria Jean stores outside the mall...if there are someone please let me know!

Located in Southridge Mall on the top floor, this place always gets it right and jeez, how I WISH I lived closer or that this establishment and its employees were situated closer to where I live! I'd be there almost every other day (or more because of the whole caffeine addiction thing). The flavored coffee drinks, whether hot or cold, are always prepared to perfection which in and of itself is a miracle considering how fast the baristas work and take care of your order. Worth every penny. The scent of this location is enough to drive me bonkers just thinking about it. The seasonal drinks are worth trying and their noshes are quite tasty too. There are also coffee accessories and ground fresh coffee selections if that's your thing. I'm getting sad as I don't have GJ drink in front of me now so I'll keep this short: Try this place. It's GOOD.

Never disappointed, love trying new things here. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and polite.

This place has awesome coffee mugs. I never buy them and I don't know why. But I always come in, spend ten minutes looking at the mugs and then make an order without grabbing one like it's some sort of museum. Maybe next time around I'll grab an Iron Man mug.

Anyways, Gloria Jean's makes pretty damn good iced coffee drinks. I'll stop in for something different than the regular ol' Starbucks in the mall and I'm never disappointed. I don't even like iced coffee, but for some odd reason I love it here. It's less like iced coffee and more like a milkshake. Thus was the case with the Ultimate Cookie Chiller Espresso drink on this trip which was absolutely amazing. It's like mixing cookies n' cream ice cream with coffee.

Hey, how about some velvet ropes in here, or any ropes or at least a "Enter Here" sign? This place almost always has a line, but last time I was here there wasn't. I got behind the one person in line and a lady started a totally opposite line on the other side of the person in front of me. She tried to cut in front of me even though I was clearly there first. Good thing I was pushing the baby stroller. No one runs over a baby stroller. Checkmate dipstick.

This leads to more problems with this place. I order my drink, the barista asks if I want whipped cream and caramel. I said "whipped cream yes, but no caramel." I get my drink, and it has caramel on it. This has happened to me here more than once.

Beyond not listening, the employees here range from nice to energetic to over enthusiastic to just plain rude. I remember one time not too long ago here a guy working the counter was so desperate for laughs he ended up creating an ackward moment in the whole store and slightly offended me to the point where I stayed away for a year or so. What is this, Clerks? Get a reign on your employees GJ!

Still a decent place to get a coffee, hot or iced.

Honestly, worst service ever today. Ordered three drinks, and the two made by one barista were wrong and awful. She didn't offer to correct, and she didn't really care. Not sure what's going on there but honestly won't go back if I see her behind the bar.
