Franconia Café & Market

The Franconia Cafe is a simple, no frills breakfast and lunch place. The menu is fairly large and offers many selections to satisfy any group. I ordered a lunch combo of a cup of soup and half a panini. The soup was not great - very bland and tasteless that the use of salt and pepper did not help. However, the panini was great! I had the Gehman and I was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the flavor. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food came out quickly, even on a busy afternoon. This restaurant is definitely worth a try!

Today I just had the eggs Benedict and it was really very good. Then potatoes were terrible, sliced home fries with no seasoning and they were old and dry , definitely left over from earlier in the week.

This is a wonderful place for breakfast and the food is fresh and yummy. I also feel like the servers and staff go out of their way to make you welcome. I will be back even though it is not near my home. I will make a special trip. I was turned off at first bc there were so many low reviews but then I read it had nothing to do with the food. It is sad that people give one stars bc of mask issues. Really not fair to a business especially when restaurants are already suffering.

Franconia Square Cafe & Market is located on Allentown Road, near the intersection with Harleysville Pike (Route 113). My family and I always enjoy coming here for breakfast, it's a great experience every time! Theres a few different areas to eat in, there's a bigger dining room, a smaller eating area next to the main door and lastly the counter section next to the last section. Regardless of where you sit, it always seems to be crowded so there could be a bit of a wait to get seated especially in the morning for breakfast. That aside, the service is still always great and so are the wait staff!

As for the food, I am really fond of the breakfast (it's when we usually go so I don't eat for lunch too often but when I do it's just as great). I love the breakfast combos they have, it really acts as a split decision to get a bit of everything. On my most recent visit I tried something new with the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll and it was amazing!! The food definitely doesn't dissapoint, and the great experiences is what keeps me and my family coming back each time!

This is my GO-TO breakfast place. Ive gone here for years. I used to go to the Towne also but as Im sure most of you know, its closed.

I love that there are tons of seating here and even when its busy you can find somewhere to sit. The service here is also always good. The prices are decent as well.

Everything here tastes home cooked and I will forever come here for breakfast!

We used to love coming to this place until today. The staff will wearing mesh mask. You're serving me food with holes in your mass while you're speaking and spit is coming out. The number of patients that were coming in without a mask was completely disgusting. I know not long ago they were shut down because staff members had covid. Department of health was contacted and I hope they get shut down. Having a complete disregard for the health and safety of patrons is disgusting.

Love this place! Friendly smiling faces. Great breakfasts and have used the deli counter service many times when I needed lunch to go. Love their drink selection also from the reach ins. Used to be the only place I could get my energy drinks till they stopped shipping to pa due to the philly soda tax.

I do not support or recommend this establishment specifically because of what they posted on Facebook (attached). I and many people, including many people of color also did not recommend them on Facebook for this reason, and they have since deleted the negative posts but the positive ones remain. This statement and the restaurant's behavior to silence people of color is unacceptable.

Food is good and affordable as always, but waiters/waitresses were either NOT wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly (below the nose, mesh cloth, etc). No enforcement or culture of precaution in this regard.

However, other measures like social distancing, cleaning tables, and things like having seasonings/jams available upon request were being followed.

If you're cautious about eating out due to COVID or have an underlying health condition, I wouldn't recommend eating here until after this pandemic passes.
