Avoid this place at all costs.

I ordered a bouquet of tulips for my wife for Valentine's Day. I get that it is a super busy day of the year and I get that it is impossible to provide a set delivery time. However I have experienced multiple issues from this store. Let's first talk about value.

The website allows one to "upsize" for a larger more expansive bouquet. Well I ordered the "best". What I received would never qualify for "best" under any scenario. Below are pictures from their website of their "best" offer and what I received instead. What a ripoff!!!

Let's next highlight service. I had not received the flowers by 5.30pm. I called the store to ask when the delivery would be happening. I was told that the driver was out with the delivery and that it would be "very soon". 2 hours later the flowers were still not here so I called again and was again told that the driver was out and was maybe "20 minutes away". After challenging the person on the phone I was told that it "might be up to an hour" depending on the traffic. And for clarity we live WITHIN 10 MINUTES of the store. Well it took another 1.5 hours for the delivery to occur and when it did happen it was delivered by a guy in a sedan car - who would have had space only for about 4-5 bouquets. So it was never possible that my order was out for delivery as originally suggested.

Brutal experience!!!! Will never recommend this place

Such a beautiful flower arrangement and absolutely a pleasure to interact with the owner. I am visiting from New York and wanted to take a gift to our dinner hosts. I dropped by 'flowers of the world' located close to Yonge and Eglinton. We discussed my budget and Colot scheme. I mentioned that iI would be back to pick it up. So happy with the bouquet. very tasteful. i found the store based on the high ratings And highly recommend it now as well!

Late this morning I purchased a floral arrangement for a family member in Toronto. The arrangement I saw online was lovely but had red roses among other colours. I did not desire any red in the collection and called the florist to request if she could substitute for other colours.

She was readily accommodating and very kind.

This evening my family member in Toronto was delivered a beautiful floral expression of my love from Vancouver. (She sent me a photograph and I am delighted).

Just received a delivery of Valentine's roses from Flowers of the World. I was so excited to pick up the flowers from my concierge but my heart sank the moment I saw them. The pedals are creased and withered on pretty much the whole 2 dozens of roses. The pale pink pedals are yellowed, and wrinkled. Some of the pedals are falling off, one of them with hole on it. And these are not just the protective outer layer pedals, they go all the way to the centre. And i can see from the bottom the protective layers have been pilled off already. 2 dozens of roses jammed into a short vase, doesn't even form a round bouquet shape. Extremely disappointed on Valentines day with these flowers from Flowers of the World's . DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

One of the most accommodating and understanding florists in and around Yonge and Eglinton. Needed a special customised bouquet of 35 red roses. She not only made sure the bouquet is beautifully arranged, but also chose the freshest bunch of roses and added extra decorations to make it worth the occasion. Thank you for making the event a lot more special with your brilliant service.

Although I can appreciate Valentine's Day is a VERY busy day for a florists, one would think they would have a grip on HOW busy a day it can be. That being said, I wasn't miffed with the fact that they were only delivered just before 5, on the Friday, it was the fact that I called and they gave me the impression it would "most likely" be delivered to her by 3.

My fiancée had things to do that day and did not leave as I asked her to be there to receive "Something". I wanted it to be a surprise. Now, being in the retail industry myself, when 3 o'clock was approaching, I called to ensure that that time was still accurate. Once again, they couldn't guarantee a time, but that it "should" be there by 4.

By 4:30 it still had not been delivered and I was beginning to get frustrated because I was now delaying my fiancée from doing things on her day off. They were very nice flowers, though for the price, 98$, delivery and customer service could have been better executed.

Had I known, or had they explicitly said "we cannot guarantee any kind of delivery time" I either wouldn't have been so anxious OR, more likely, I would have just picked them up on my way home. As it was, I would have spent less, would have freed up my fianceés entire day, and STILL would have had the flowers at the same time.

NOT happy, but not angry either. Just a bad experience. They didn't seem to want to make me feel any better when I called wanting to know why they had not yet been delivered. The person on the phone just sounded snooty and didn't want to help out. I almost felt like an idiot for asking when it would be delivered.

Outstanding service!!! We were in a bit of a jam and they bailed us out. We were totally pleased with their help.
