Their roast beef and mozzarella sandwiches though. They're so tasty I love it there's a line sometimes but it's worth it.

Let's get business out of the way: cash only and no menu, though they do have a special sandwich every day.
Though they don't have a menu, I know what I like so it was pretty easy: chicken cutlet, nice thick slices of mozzarella - I didn't have to open my Sandwich to look for it! - roasted reds & SD tomatoes. The roasted reds were excellent; garlicy. Yum. Some of the best mozzarella I've had, though a bit on the salty side. My son & I split the large and it was more than enough; he got a soda & I got 4 Kaiser rolls and it came to about $20.00.
Loved the guy behind the counter, sorry I didn't get his name though I'm sure he's been there 50 years :)Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Virginia L.Tinton Falls, United States01Feb 21, 2024

Fiore has a reputation as one of the best delis in Hoboken, and for good reason. The mutz is out of this world and the fresh bread is a perfect complement to it. My go-to is roast beef or an Italian...I don't think I've actually gotten anything else. Old school counter, old school ambiance, old school staff...just as it should be.
Couple of notes -- the line will probably be long, but they move quickly in there, so don't be intimidated. Also, this isn't a traditional deli in the sense of getting what you might think is a fully loaded sandwich. Lettuce, tomato, onion? Nope, nope, and nope. Peppers? You bet. Drenched in an absurd amount of delicious garlic? Definitely. They are a must get, but you will be tasting them for DAYS.
There actually is parking, which is a rarity in this part of Hoboken, so you can actually drive there without risking the double park.
Oh, and cash only. Don't forget about that, no exceptions. They do have an ATM but chances are high if not guaranteed you'll be paying fees from both sides of the transaction.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 571151Apr 8, 2024
One of the best Italian cold cut sandwiches you are going to eat on the East Coast wow o wow this is my this is my second time here in the beautiful city of Hoboken and let me tell you something about this sandwich. It doesn't disappoint the buffalo mozzarella cheese compliments does not over salty coke, cut, mortadella, capicola, and a beautiful buffalo mozzarella with a light salty aftertaste not like other places, where you just get a mouthful of salt and you taste all those harmful can't spell them ingredients highly recommended my son's favorite place mines too .... Roast beef all so was good You could get a hole or a half don't be cheap get the whole give it to a friend or eat the rest later on.

I think I saw this place on a tv show and bookmarked it. While in NYC I made the decision to take a uber ride over here. It was well worth the trip. A small town deli with some of the best mozzarella I've ever had. I came on a Thursday. The server quickly gave us samples of the mozzarella to try. The sandwich of the day was the roast beef with mozzarella and gravy. Over a nice chewy bread. This was a wonderful way to start the day. Tons of customers going in and out constantly. First bite of the sandwich was wow! 2nd bite wow all the way to the last bite. If they had this where I lived, lines down the block! I need mozzarella like this all the time!
Recommendation: Roast beef & gravy mozzarella sandwichHelpful 14Thanks 2Love this 11Oh no 0 - R G.Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, United States0251Apr 15, 2024
Been to Fiore's many times and have always enjoyed their heros, particularly the hot roast beef with mozz and gravy and both the hot and sweet sopressata with mozz. I also love their hot peppers and stuffed red cherry peppers which are both great.
Today I made the mistake of ordering their "Virginia ham" with fresh mozz and found that it is actually covered in a mustard sauce! Who puts mustard anything on fresh mozz?? It simply does not go. Mustard is just fine on a Boars's Head bologna hero, pastrami, corned beef, hot dogs and maybe a ham and yellow American cheese but on fresh mozz?? NFW! It simply does not go in any way shape or form. It would be like putting mustard on pizza, that bad! Plus the hero was served cold and if it had any Virginal Ham seasoning or glaze I could not find it. The bread was basically awful as well. It was tasteless, sorry NJ air bread and not the decent Italian bread that Fiore's has always had. The Monday special Virginia ham hero was a total abomination.
In the garbage it went, a complete disappointment and a total waste of money. At least the Manhattan Special was ice cold.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 2, 2023
Iconic Italian deli known for their mozzarella and amazing sandwiches. Their roast beef and mozzarella are the stuff of legend, but you can't go wrong with any sandwich that you order.
The line can get a bit long, but the line moves pretty fast and the staff is friendly and works hard to keep that line moving.
The place has the ambiance of an old-school Italian deli and for me, it is a welcome and warm atmosphere and brings back a lot of great memories.
I would definitely recommend here if you are in the Hoboken, New Jersey area and craving a solid sandwich.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Nov 24, 2023
Obviously I am in the minority here. How can you make a sub sandwich with NO lettuce or tomato? Well, this place can. If you don't like peppers you are out of luck. I requested extra mayo.
Be prepared to wait, but line moves quickly.

Now this is a real Italian deli. Nothing fancy, think mafia bodega hehehe. But the deli sandwiches are best quality you can get. I don't eat meat, but if I did it would be from here. So I got a mix of their delicious marinaded veggies with their fresh mozzarella on their soft fresh hero. I also got to sample their fresh calamari which was heavenly and I will be back to buy some soon.
