FD Photo Studio

Having rented space a couple times -- perfect space, excellent customer service, easy web reservation system -- I jumped at the chance to take a two-hour seminar on lighting. I learned a lot, got to see other studios -- which I will book soon! -- and had more great customer service.

I won't go anywhere else. If you're reading this, you shouldn't either!

FD studios were so helpful! First time visiting and I'll be there again next time I'm in LA. Tony in particular was super kind over the phone and made sure I'd have the backdrops I needed. On the day, Joe did loads to help me set up. Can't wait to shoot there again!

Amazing location to shoot at if you are looking for a big warehouse. Prices were great and Tobby was very helpful with the whole team. I really recommend shooting here.
Top nice ambience lighting too.

I am always grateful for the FD Studio staff but lately Rob has been a standout. My two recent shoots at the Hill location then the Main location couldn't have been possible if it weren't for his customer service and patience.

Great location with all the basics needed for a successful photoshoot - and for a super affordable price. I love that all the rentals come with studio lighting included. And it's always fun to incorporate their many colors of seamless paper backdrops they keep on hand. Been renting here for several years! I hear they are updating/replacing their lighting modifiers soon - that will be a big plus!

1st time !! Great experience I'll def recommend to anyone !! I came from Orange County Anaheim and Im a local artist trying to chase his dreams and I found this spot and the owner helped out asked any questions if needed! Def recommend to shoot a music video

I have been a supporter of this business since it opened in one small room in 2013. A decade later it still is best studio in La that is affordable and comes with everything in your booking. This business is the best! I have also have supported the other locations in Chicago and New York. This one is a great location! Richie is extremely helpful and accommodating and always goes above and beyond! So your in good hands! I highly recommend FD photo studio to all creatives!

Had an amazing shoot at FD Studios today! The booking process was very simple, the studios are very affordable, and no expensive insurance is required. Will definitely return and refer you guys to everyone. Big thanks to Richie for always making himself available to help us :)

Kolbi is A1, truly! Came in and did everything she could to fix our speaker! and did! Energy is always so welcoming!

This place is super dope, it's super spacious. The staff is super helpful and punctual. They're lighting is incredible. Hourly rates are pretty reasonable.
Parking is across the street. Next to the flower district.
