Finally bought an item from Fashionphile and the process was so seamless. I've sold here twice and was so excited to buy! I bought the item online and requested to pick up so I didn't need an appointment. The security guard let us in with ease and the employees brought my item down promptly and I was allowed to inspect it before it was packaged up for me. I can't believe I got such a great deal on such a rare item! I was hesitant about buying anything pre loved but the condition of my item is superb and I'll HAPPILY buy more items from here.

I called for an appointment the morning of and the staff was able to accommodate me with an afternoon appointment. The building was very high end and secretive and I loved that. The staff was impeccable! Most high end places have snobby associates and it makes for an uncomfortable experience but Fashionphile's staff was genuinely courteous and true professionals. I sold items this time but can't wait to come back and buy because I trust their authentication and saw rare items for sale.

I have shopped here a few times and I love that their designer goods are sustainable and you can "Sell, Shop, Repeat." Sustainable shopping recognizes that everything we buy has health, environmental and social impacts and I try to align my shopping habits with what is important to me and my values.
You can find good deals on designer items at Fashionphile. The reason I'm taking off a few points is that if you pay in cash, you don't get cash back if you return the item. They will mail you a check. I returned an item A MONTH AGO and I still haven't received my money back! This is unacceptable! No idea what this store is nor did we get a chance to find out as your security guard mean mugged us and stared my family down in a very intimidating and unwelcoming manner as we stood 10 feet away from your door eating a pretzel. Great way to welcome in your customers!

I've been wanting a luxury handbag for quite some time now but haven't been able to justify the price tag. Unfortunately for the consumer, prices keep going up every year so waiting can actually hurt you. The bag I had my eye on for a while now went up $700 over the course of the year!! I decided to pull the trigger before it got even more expensive, and started searching for reputable resale stores that carried the exact bag and color that I wanted.
What caught my eye about Fashionphile is that they've been around for decades and have a partnership with Neiman Marcus. They also have a great protection policy against counterfeits and will refund you should you discover that your item is not authentic.
I'm lucky to live around this area so I could pop by the flagship store (the other one is located in NYC) and the bag I had my eye on happened to be at this location so I could pick it up the same day after ordering it online. I called (a few times) to make an appointment so I could pick up my bag and so I could shop a few other items so I could be confident in my selection. I was really impressed by the condition of my bag which was "excellent" but to me seemed like it was basically brand new. I asked them to pull a few bags in other "conditions" and ultimately decided it was worth it to spend a little more to get a nearly pristine bag. The sales associate who helped me was nice and friendly. She stopped by to check on me a few times and pulled the inventory I was interested in right away.
If you can, I would recommend stopping by and checking out your items over just having them shipped and delivered (if your item is located in store). This gives you the opportunity to evaluate the condition and return it right away if it ends up not being what you wanted, and you don't have to worry about the item getting damaged in transit either to you or when you return it. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the market for a luxury item. I had a great experience selling here. Even though you don't get what you originally paid for the item, the prices they offer are decent. I like the fact that you don't have to deal with the hassle of selling your items on your own and potentially dealing with someone trying to scam you. I went on Monday and sold a few items and already got paid through direct deposit only 2 days later.
They even brought out a few items to look at that I selected to view from my Fashionphile cart. Even though I didn't buy anything, the items I looked at were in great condition at a decent price.

I enjoy shopping here better than most luxury boutiques. The customer service is excellent, and their authentication and payout process is really efficient and organized.
This was my second time selling and shopping at the Carlsbad studio, and each time I'm quoted great offers and able to browse all of their inventory on an iPad (I also loved the complimentary boxed water). I love the website and was hoping to visit their showroom but the phone rang and rang and rang again. Kept ringing and ringing and ringed some more. I wish I was able to set up an appointment. I was ready to buy something. Took off 1 star for that!

I came in with 2 friends to do only shopping, not selling. I have purchased from the website before but have never been into a showroom. We were greeted by a very nice security guard that showed us where the VIP parking was and told us to head inside as the team was awaiting our arrival.
Once inside, we stood there for a bit as they were assisting others. Once we were able to get to the desk, the person asked if we had an appointment then handed us an iPad without further instruction. This was confusing since none of us had been to the location before, but I knew I had to sign in to see my favorite items.
Finally another associate saw us looking bewildered and explained the process. Once we got that down, we were golden. We put our items in the "cart" and they were delivered to us. It was a fun shopping experience (minus the front desk confusion). Let me start off by saying that I am a prior Fashionphile customer. I had bought a chanel wallet online with them (from NY), brand new and was so happy with it. I had that positive experience carrying me through and had seen that many of the bags I liked were located in Carlsbad, CA. Living nearby, I thought I could stop by and browse like you could at Nordstrom or Neiman or a Chanel boutique. Boy, was I very wrong. I stopped by and the security guy at the gate stopped me (I was with my mom, we're both Mexican (I'll add why that's relevant in a second)) and asked if we had an appointment. I said no, that I just wanted to browse. He asked if they could accommodate and they said they'd fit us in. I was appreciative, if a bit surprised of all the song and dance to get us in - but still, they have a lot of purses so I guess it makes sense. We pull up to the "VIP Parking" which should really stand for "Very Insignificant Person" parking because that's how they made us feel once we got inside.
Let me paint you a picture. I had my 2.55 mademoiselle turn lock accordion flap reissue chanel handbag on my arm, was dressed nicely, and my mom was with me (she had her cane). We got to the door and they did not unlock it for us until after we tried opening it despite seeing us reach it. Once inside, I told the employee that I was looking to browse and possibly buy a Chanel flap bag more in the classic style. She gave me a whole speech about how this was their HQ and that a lot of their inventory isn't here. I"m hearing this, while I see at least 3 customers shopping in the background. She then asked me, very condescendingly, if I even had a Fashionphile account. I said I did. She didn't let me tell her I had already shopped with Fashionphile before. She told me she didn't have any tables open for me or my mom at the moment but she gave me an iPad to "shop online" and to "add to cart" any items I"d like. Then, if they had those items, they'd pull them from the back to show them to me if/when a table opened up. Seemed simple enough.
We were sat in the lobby, my mom with her cane, and I with this tiny iPad and nowhere to rest my purse. We were given complimentary boxed water. In the time I shopped on their iPad on my own Fashionphile account, I could see one customer had already left (meaning there was space). Another customer sat at their table with 6 purses in front of them with no customer service attendant.
My mom and I spent between 20-25 minutes "shopping online" during which time the security guard chose to move from the end of the front of the store to right next to my elderly mother for the whole time we were there. We felt watched and uncomfortable. We were NEVER moved to a table. I gave my iPad once to one of the employees who told me the chanel bags I liked were "such unique items" and they had nothing comparable to show me. My mom and I have visited the chanel boutique in Nordstrom, frequently gone to Nordstrom over the years, and/or Neiman, Bloomingdales, etc. and have never experienced anything like this.
We left having NEVER BEEN SEATED, NEVER BEEN SHOWN A SINGLE PURSE. I left and bought a $3,800 Chanel bag instead elsewhere, brand new.
Let me make one thing clear: I adore my chanel wallet I bought from the NY store. I'm glad I bought it before visiting the Fashionphile physical store. Because had I visited first, I would have never given them my business and after the way they treated us, they will never see a dime from me again.Helpful 12Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0
