Express Smog

I needed to get smog for two of my cars and this place was better than expected. Located on the corner of the Shell gas station, you pull up, get greeted, smog is done and you are on your way. Prices lower than most other places so that was a plus. Not too much to add here especially if you have a standard size car, it's easy. I definitely appreciated that there wasn't any other car testing before me so I was able finish my two cars in just minutes.

Needed smog and this place was open after work. Quick in and out. No fuss. 26$ for my 4Runner and I was on my way. Ive read some questionable reviews about here but I had no such experience!

I came in for a smog test and person testing was not rude but not friendly to begin with. When I went to give him my coupon after he was done he said he couldn't receive it. It was too late he said. Nothing on the coupon said it had to be given prior. Very bad business I'm not trying to be petty or a Karen. The fact is if your going to put a coupon out there to attract customers you should always honor your word. Don't put something out there and then oops , just kidding,and take it away. Also you shouldn't have a tip jar out. You get paid $38 hr high $43. I've been in food and beverage my whole life. I've lived on tips. I know how important it is to receive them. A smog is a necessity. What has this world come to???

We just moved here from AZ and needed to get our truck registered. Since we are new to NV, we didn't know our truck was exempt. The nice man working explained to us about the exemption. As we saw the sign that says you have to pay no matter the outcome, we expected to pay but the man said no charge. Also, he mentioned that if the DVM gives us a hard time, to go inside and speak to the supervisor. We would definitely get our future tests done here.

A CROOK. This guy plainly saw that my Check Engine Light was illuminated when he executed the Test and TOOK MY MONEY knowing my vehicle would fail. I didn't know then that an Engine Light "on" status would automatically result in a Fail. He knew it and I now know it. Shame on me. Shame on You if you do any business with this OUTHOUSE Operator.

I went to this location for a smog check and was told I would receive a military discount. I was charged incorrectly and called to notify them that the charge was the original full charge. I went back to the smog station and they had left for the day. When I went back the next business day I was told that the owner decided to not offer military discounts anymore. I was told I could not receive the discount that was quoted. Poor business practices

Went here as they are one of the few open until 6 in the area and since I work until 5:30, this was my choice. I took my motorhome there and was informed they couldn't do it since the cord for the tailpipe was not long enough. We had come here the year before without an issue, so I knew that was not true. Then we asked about just plugging it in since it is newer and was told their plug was broken. Then was given the reason they couldn't do it was because they needed to attach to the spark plugs, which are not easily accessible in a motorhome. Then I was given the option to go across town to their other location, which also closed at 6 and it was 5:45. They probably shouldn't be open when the equipment is broken and I was disappointed in their poor customer service.

I love this place! The guy who ran my emissions test was very friendly, professional, and informative. I've been having the worst time trying to register my car in NV after moving here months ago, and I was so happy with the service I received here. He answered all my questions and had me driving away with a passed test in 5 minutes (which was important because it was a lunch break run.) Absolutely recommend this business!!

Wow! To the guy working here on Friday, December 8, 2017, what a rude piece of work you are!
I went to Express Smog for a smog check. When I pulled up you were working on another vehicle. After standing around for a while, I said "Good morning" to you. You looked at me with a gruff face and walked away. No "hello", or "I'll be right with you", no nothing. The other customer looked at me and made a face like "Yea, he is a jerk".
I got in my vehicle and left.
Found a nice place 1/4 mile down Virginia with great people.

Avoid this mess just based on customer service alone.

Had a coupon and decided to try the place. I suppose you don't need to worry about accepting coupons when no one is minding the store. Wen Monday afternoon, 2pm and could not get anyone to perform the service. Hours are clearly posted on the shack but it was empty. Went on to another shop that was open and had an employee working. In and out in 5 minutes.
